i think this guy did great, considering he didnt use his winch. id have busted it out a long time ago but this looks like a lot of fun. however, this is probably one of the better examples of why you never go wheeling alone.
You did good. Didn't totally sink it and mudding is about having fun, no matter what your skill level. It looked like fun to me! How else can you learn how to mud other than going out and trying. Everybody is so quick to critisize, when how do you know how well you would handle the situation?
yeah after the 3rd go, I would have tried the side of that bank. I have a 95 wrangler open diff, 35 front, ford 8.8 in back, running 4.88's on 35' tires, I know what you mean about the 4low but not in that case, the mud just slips easier.
I wonder if he's still out there going back and forth..? It was nice at the 2:30 mark where he learned about the steering wheel. Try turning it going forward too. Next time, air down and walk right out of it. Maximum air pressure is ONLY good for the street.
Thats pretty Sick, Im gonna take my jeep offroading this week topless and doorless, how do you go about cleaning it afterward just spray it down inside and open the drain holes? also what about the seats? thanks alot Micah
Holy crap man, i know that mud is nasty but that reving of the engine is completely unnecessary. You have a winch, use it before you blow out your engine.
haha i know what you mean, but toyota's dont build 4x4's anymore, its a wagon gone 4x4. where nissan set out to make a 4x4 (really only the patrol) both parties have thier soft roaders (IFS etc etc) and jeeps are great with a few mods. keep in mind all the kitted toyota's in the mags used Nissan diffs and drive train (even gear boxes) and comp cars use all nissan gear. toyota's fell behind years ago. like the hilux diff strippers. its personal choice tho.. because 90 is usually road driving
Fuchin hell! Engine should explode or so, why don't he stops the f****** yip thing and takes a rest?? It sucks watching how he doesn't gets nothing... ;)
that was the absolute worst driving I have seen..bouncing off the rv limmiter and not even trying to take a differsnt line in the ruts your carving out...I feel sorry for the guy who buys it when you sell it..
Definition of crazy: Doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different result.

Go Anywhere, Do Anything.
Have fun out there.

If there's 2 things JEEP owners have it determination and balls.

most people would stop as far as they could get, then crank up the winch... before they run the risk of blowing up onething or another

how about some gears, lockers, and a better line?
Need some Mud Tires bro, cuz those Michelin's ain't gettin any.
some low pressure balloon tires would've got you thru that no problem
4 banger and red even
lmao....awsome! been there too..
Keep it up
lol thats an amc son have faith and hes not redlining it believe me
grab another gear and give the rev limiter a rset
$50 says you coulda just thrown it in 4HI and 1st gear and driven through like it wasnt there
Looks to me like this guy is running to much psi in the tires. Let some air out and that Jeep should have no problem.
heep, it's whats for dinner.
i have sympathy..i got me a 2.4l 4 banger tj...
