I have now owned the Ioniq 5 N for over a month and it is truly a magnificent vehicle. A solid 9 out of 10 and one of those rare cars we will look back on as truly transformative for its time. There are a few improvement areas, most notably its range and turning radius, but I can easily look past that considering how good it is. Superb vehicle and one that makes my 991.2 Carrera T being left in the garage more than it should…

Glad to hear that, I am considering getting one but I live somewhere where the roads are sometimes rough and potholes, and speed bumps (in all sizes) are almost everywhere. That in mind, I watched a YT video on a normal ioniq 5 (2020) that cracked its underside battery protection on rough roads - considering totalled by Hyundai and not covered by warranty. That is what is worrying to me. Though it will be my 2nd car next to a tucson

    And with the virtual sound,
the horse There are a lot...
IONIQ5N's virtual sound is a basic
It doesn't work in the state,
Activated in N mode or N-eshift mode,
Also, you can adjust the volume as you want,
Turn on both indoor and outdoor,
Or just turn on the inside, turn off the outside,
On the other hand, you can turn off the outside and turn on the inside only I have it.
    And IONIQ5N's virtual sound is
    Unlike simple virtual sound,
    each RPM and gear level,
    And depending on the speed,
Like the sound of an actual engine
Each one has a different frequency and sound.
And this virtual sound is not just a simple one
I didn't put it in for fun,
When you're on a track or when you're playing sports,
Listen to the actual engine vehicle's engine
The condition of the car, the speed of the car,
Also, as you can see the appropriate shift timing,
I'm going to use this virtual sound to catch it
The purpose of meaning is greater.
In fact, on Top Gear in the U.K.
When you test drive on the track,
The difference between the sound and the absence of sound is safety,
crucial to determining the driving record
    He's playing a role.
    Also, IONIQ5N's virtual sound is
    It's not just the sound,
Put the woofer speaker on the front and rear, respectively
As you mount it, the sound echoes to the car
It's delivered to the driver in the room
    To feel the actual tremor
    Because it's designed,
Even the engine tremor of the engine vehicle
We are implementing some of them.
Even though IONIQ5N is an EV,
The shift shock is reduced during the shift,
When you get to the end of RPM without shifting,
    be caught in fuel-limited limits
For the same purpose as bringing out the feeling,
To just dismiss it as a virtual sound
    It's a little lacking.
This is different from what you see in the video,
You'll find out right away when you test drive it.

The HI5N peaks at 240kW and averages 210kW during a 10-80% session. It's impressive but nowhere near the fastest. The Porsche Taycan peaks at 330kW, stays above 300kW until 65%, and averages 265kW during a 10-80% session. The Silverado EV can max out a 350kW charger to 60% but has a massive battery more than twice the size of the HI5N.

@@adrianguggisberg3656 Don't get me wrong - I think its a fast charging vehicle, which is one of the reasons why I love my EV6 which also hits 240kW and has 18min 10-80% charging, but it's not productive to call it the fastest charging vehicle in the world.
I'm not usually of fan of looking at "miles of range added" for charging speeds, but in this case it does make a difference as the Silverado has a 450 mile range vs the Ioniq5N's 221 miles... that 10-80% comparison isn't apples-to-apples.
Another comparison would be the new Polestar 5 prototype tested with a similarly sized 77kWh battery that peaked at 370kW and did 10-80% in 10 minutes.
I was cross-shopping the 3L GR Supra when I got mine, and have no regrets with the EV6.

HaHa The competing vehicles you list are electric vehicles that have no track capabilities, low performance sustainability, and don't solve the problem of overheating brakes. Ionic 5N is in a different class. It is capable of running on tracks, and has world-class regenerative braking capabilities, so it can run on tracks with just cast iron brakes. In fact, it should be said that there is no competitor to the IONIQ 5N. The Tesla Model S Plaid, Porsche Taycan, and Lucid Air Sapphire have disadvantages even if they are equipped with carbon ceramic brakes that cost tens of thousands of dollars.

    Starting in 2025, Hyundai, Kia,
A lot of Genesis' new EVs are coming out
It's announced that it's going to pour out.

    It's going in,
But from the turbo trim of "Macan,"
As expected, "Silicon Cathode Material" from Korea's "Daejoo" is included.
In addition, Korean battery companies said, "NCM 911+."
The model has already been developed and will be mass-produced soon
    It's going to go in,
At the same time, even more efficient batteries
It is making great progress in development.
As such, Korean EVs are more popular than other entry-level models
    I'm using a Chinese battery,
(IONIQ5 also wanted to meet the price at first.)
It was equipped with a Chinese battery,
    From this facelift model
Equipped with Korean-made batteries like IONIQ5N)
Korean "NCM Batteries" companies are coming up
    "SAMSUNG", "LG", and "SK"
It was under construction on a large scale in Korea
Because the production plants are finished,
More supply, the resulting price cuts
    More Hyundai, Kia EV vehicles
    Good performance "NCM911" or

In the video, from 0 to 100 km, 3.3 sec
However, in the official specification, it is 3.4 sec.
And, through the launch control, the whole world
So many people are trying to do this in their own way
    I did a test,
    Most people record 3.4 sec,
    Some have 3.6 sec,
On the contrary, some have 3.2 sec.
Or record up to 3.1 sec
    There were cases.
Of course, it's the vehicle's own program
    It's not measured,
We're going to measure it with separate measuring instruments
    It's a shame.
    And IONIQ5N is
Although the output is 640 hp,
The maximum specifications of the Korean-made battery and
    Through modern self-coordination
Even in the current state, it's 800 to 900 hp
You can raise it to the level,
The 0-100km arrival speed is not 3.4sec,
    3.0sec. or 2.8, or up to 2.6
    without further development or modification
There's a platform that you can change as much as you want
    Batteries and program skills
    I have it.
But this is a mass production car for the general public
    suitable for everyone to enjoy
It's a figure set at the level.
In fact, in Korea, through IONIQ5N
Starting this year, it's a classification of motorsport events
It's going to be newly established,
In line with that, the exterior parts for aerodynamics and
Change the wheels, tires, sports bucket seats, etc,
To prevent accidents, roll gauges inside
    I'll install a new one,
The rest of the basic performances are mass-produced cars
Even though we maintained our performance and specifications
They showed a completely different level of performance
    There is,
    In Korea, IONIQ5 is already
    It's facelifted and sold,
    The battery is reinforced further,
Average mileage of more than 30 miles
There's been a lot of changes, increasing, etc,
It's been over a year since IONIQ5N was sold
We're getting ready for a facelift soon,
There are many different types of derivatives
For example, a carbon wheel or a racing steering wheel,
    More specialized sports bucket seats,
    Aeroparts and rear spoiler wings
Sports parts will go on sale soon, too.

That noise mode, coupled with the artificial gearing, lets you know your entry speed coming into the corner and when you should hit the brakes without visual cues, as you would be able to in a gasoline car. If a car is good at disguising it speed, you don't know where that braking point is without paying attention. If you have the sound and you know what gear you're in, you know roughly how fast you are going without looking; you can pay attention to all the other aspects of driving as quickly as you can. Ultimately, we may be able to judge that speed just by looking, subconsciously, but that is a learned skill.
With sound and gearing, you do not have to pay as much mental or visual attention to your speed. It's not *just* a gimmick, it's also a gimmick.

      My friend has one too.
I found that the braking system in the new model is the same as before.
      Drive on the track.
During a time trial on a track of approximately 4 km, several Teslas showed warning lights before completing 4 laps.
If there have been no problems so far, it seems likely that it was not driven hard.

Really? Better than an 2024 Audi RS e-tron GT? If anyone argues Hyundai is cheaper, then the Tesla performance is cheaper than the Hyundai

If you like track driving, check out the IONIQ 5N's N Pedal. It may be helpful to think about how much brake maintenance costs you will have to spend to deal with this feature.

Anonymous user on the net + no citations for ridiculous claims = just another mindless troll.
