Good morning, thank you for another lovely recipe. This is so quick and easy much better than the foil wrapped bread that we are used to. As garlic bread is an all round favourite we can also serve it as a light snack! It is nice to take old recipes and "re=new" them without fuss or expense. Thank you for sharing and showing. I love garlic and parsley but typically eat it in the afternoon or evening, but this morning, it just sounded like a delicious way to start the way, and it certainly was. we always add peperoncino, too, and perhaps surprisingly marjoram, which is a remarkable dried herb: more like dried Mexican oregano than is dried Mediterranean oregano (the two oreganos are not related biologically) and brighter than dried basil, which tends to have lost most or all of its flavor compared to fresh basil.
