150,000 miles on my 2004 Tundra it still runs like new and does not burn a drop of oil between oil changes. Check the dipstick right before changing the oil and after 5,000 miles it still reads "full". I also use Chemical Guys Extreme body Wash and Wax.

Wow chemguys that was a great video. I do t know how many internet trolls wanted too see you wash a truck man you guys have done the videos before and people don't remember anything. But this turned out amazing keep up the great work and the really bomb videos coming. PS haven't heard from you guys in a while:) Your number one fan Matthew.
Greetings Matthew, we always appreciate the warm praise, we hope you're doing well. Glad you liked the video, some didn't take to well to it, but that's to be expected. We're never going to slow down, and always want a fresh suite of vehicles to come through here. It's been a pretty awesome year for the detail garage thus far, and it doesn't seem to be slowing down! Stay tuned, the best has yet to come. Stay frosty Matthew. Chemical Guys Alex
Thank you for watching our video, we love trucks and we would love to have the privilege to work on another. Stay tuned for more excellent from the Chemical Guys crew. C.G. Alex -
Great video chemical guys! I have been noticing with the bigger vehicles, after a wash I haven't yet to see anyone dry the very top of the vehicles. Is it because nobody really pays attention to the top of the truck or is it because of short people problems?
Japanese cars seem to be the most reliable overall. The thing is that Japanese automakers tend not to advertise them, they mainly focus on their sedans because of their superior gas mileage.
Something to keep in mind they use a d.i water filtration system and they're fortunate enough to wash in what appears to be somewhat shade most of us don't have a water system and we wash our trucks in the driveway I'm experiencing soap residue and I spend way too much time rinsing and it's only in the upper 70's
Hey Marcos, thanks so much for reaching out to us. After JetSeal, you definitely want to use Butter Wet Wax and not Slick Finish. Slick Finish is a cleaner wax, meaning it contains a small amount of abrasives and will remove the JetSeal. It is intended as a one step product for detailers who wish to polish and wax all in one step. Use Butter Wet Wax and enjoy the warm shine of this natural wax and the protection of JetSeal! Thanks for watching, Marcos, and thanks for being a part of the Chemical Guys family!
I have been really enjoying the Chemical Guy videos hence my subscription to the channel but in the case of this hideous truck you would have been been better served driving out to somewhere remote pouring a can of gas over it and then throwing a match on! SPIKES?! Come on!
You should do a video on polishing that aluminum hitch. so many people own that hitch and dont realise how easy the are to clean up and make shine. spend 80k on a truck, 90k on a boat along with big cash on the detail before heading to the lake and then sporting that oxidized hitch.....
Hey Andrew, we do have a couple videos on our metal care. you can either use light metal polish or heavy metal polish, depending on the condition of the metal. Follow the link below to one of the video tutorials we have on metal care. ruclips.net/video/dS9xo5aZzuk/видео.html
Chemical Guys Yes thank you for the link. I was just thinking that you should do the hitch video as kind of a PSA for everyone with those aluminum hitch inserts, bit of tongue and cheek video. have some fun with it. you see those hitch inserts everywhere on very nice trucks looking all dingy. Even on this Tundra when you do the walk around....Clean truck oxidized hitch! 😀 Thanks for the reply !
10:23 gotta get new fender flares looks like he hit something and it caused a big dent unless it's the metal ones then I suppose a little paintless dent removal can fix that
How would you clean a truck in Nevada in the middle of July when it it over 110 with no shade and the water evaporates almost as soon at it touches the truck without creating water spots and without dying from heatstroke.
The Tundras get no love sadly, they're pretty coo l looking cars. I feel like the constant Dodge and Ford truck commercials have tainted people's perceptions of the Japanese trucks.
Chemical Guys they aren’t so Japanese no more sadly they are made here in Tx but also many parts aren’t even made over in japan anymore many in México. @mike I tell you from owning 3 tundras they quality has gone down...2014 tundra, 2016 tundra, 2018 tundra and that one the headliner was falling apart one month old and it squeaks when I close my doors. Shit sound system compare to before the JBL one. I don’t care for Ford neither but just saying
Hi bryce! Thanks for checking out the video. For the bed of the truck such as this one, we foam the liner and pressure wash away any grime. - Happy detailing!
Thanks for watching, anything from 1800 PSI to 2800 PSI and 1.4 GPM - 1.6 GPM. Hi, great question. Our pressure washer is a gas operated unit with a PSI of 2800, and a GPM of 2.3, so we recommend something similar. Choose a tried and true brand with a warranty for security and peace of mind! Thanks for watching and thanks for being a part of the Chemical Guys family!
You should do a video on how to wash a black truck with direct sun and the truck has wet spots because I need help and everything I try always ends up with water spots
wash it when the weather gets colder or at night. and also remember to dry right after you are done with the wash. If that doesn't work, you can try a product by chemical guys called after wash. Havent tried it but they claim its to prevent water spots.
Hi Brandon, we don't have a product at the moment that does that, however I would recommend getting a pole and a large microfiber towel, wrapping the towel around the pole and using that. We'll work on creating a solution for this situation, and we'll report back, in the mean time stay tuned for more great videos.
I feel like the green wheel brush should not be used on billet, aluminum wheels specially after they have been polished even tho they did not look polished. Maybe a microfiber towel would have been better
Hi Jason, the green brush works well on any aluminum alloy, chrome, or polished metal wheel. I've used it on Lamborghini wheels, and I was really nervous that the wheels were going to get badly scratched. It turns out that the brush worked very well. - Chem Guys Alex -
Hi Pranav, how's it going? That's a 1968 AC Shelby Cobra MKIII! I will leave a link to the video featuring that specific car below. Hi Jordan, Matt recently left the company. Nick is the current host of the detail garage. I think you'll like Nick, he's really knowledgeable, and a fun guy to watch.
Chemical Guys I think Nick does a fantastic job hosting the detail garage! I'm just really going to miss Matt... Tell Nick I said hi and I'm looking forward to more great videos! :) Take care guys! :)
Fernando Alvarez if you don't have a foam canon but your pressure washer has a soap reservoir run more soap through for your pre-rinse. I've found it works great. I'm in a similar situation as you.
What's up Fernando, Looks like you're going to have to do the 'ol classic handwash. Make sure to use the two bucket system so that you don't add any unnecessary scratches or swirls and use a different bucket for your wheels. After that, you can right into the following steps of this video. Happy Detailing!
Chemical Guys you’re not paying Nick enough. He’s a keeper. I’ve learned so much from him.
Fr bruh they gotta pay him more because he’s daddy
💯💯

This truck missing a lug on the front driverside wheel
u guys should make a video on how to clean Bedliner. 👍 But even if u don't, I watch all of the videos thanks
me personally i find doing wheels first is weird, i like to do body first cause easier to so spray off overspray from the body then to reclean wheels again from washing the body and the dirty falling onto the wheels and tires.
tbh that truck was ugly as hell, not tundras themselves just that one
carter jones agreed
Lol spiked lugs and huge light bar. That Tundra has had better days. Regardless, to each their own.
Boi has forces but can't afford the extra lug 😂, all kidding aside I love the truck and great job guys!!
Thank you very much, glad you enjoyed the video. Stay tuned, more great videos on the way!!

Japanese cars seem to be the most reliable overall. The thing is that Japanese automakers tend not to advertise them, they mainly focus on their sedans because of their superior gas mileage.
Chemical Guys Yea exactly if toyota wanted to really make there trucks something to talk about, they would make a diesel.
I've got a 1999 tacoma with 243,000 miles, its pretty custom like this. they're reliable as fuck. no unholy sounds from engine or trans yet.
Toyota Tundra with a Cummins Turbo Diesel.......MAKE IT HAPPEN YOTA!!!!!!

Are air bubbles important when washing a vehicle?
How would you clean a truck in Nevada in the middle of July when it it over 110 with no shade and the water evaporates almost as soon at it touches the truck without creating water spots and without dying from heatstroke.
Airsofter0000 Buy a canopy to wash your truck under. Create shade. Wash it under a bridge...lol
Move
I love chemical guysss
That guy looks like a samoan Drake.
People always hating on the tundra even tho Tundra are way more reliable than a ford

Do you guys have a water softener or is your water already clean? I live in Vegas and my water is very hard and difficult to dry
Awesome video!!
Can you please provide a list of all the products you used in the video?
Hi Tom! Check out the updated video description.
Do you guys not clean the truck beds?
Hi bryce! Thanks for checking out the video. For the bed of the truck such as this one, we foam the liner and pressure wash away any grime. - Happy detailing!
What psi and gpm do you guys recommend getting?
I want a good one.

thank you.
I us a 3300psi 3.4 gph, but I also use it for washing houses haha, but not needed
Very entertaining video :)
What are the specs on the pressure washer you guys use?

You should do a video on how to wash a black truck with direct sun and the truck has wet spots because I need help and everything I try always ends up with water spots
HzO Reloadz that's why u do it in shade. u are also damaging ur paint if ur soap is not ph balanced
i do wash it in the shade
and i can't remember if my soap is ph balanced or not
wash it when the weather gets colder or at night. and also remember to dry right after you are done with the wash. If that doesn't work, you can try a product by chemical guys called after wash. Havent tried it but they claim its to prevent water spots.
Check out Dallas paint correction channel he uses distilled water an a cordless works pressure washer for final rinse.
I have the same foam cannon and it does not throw the thick foam like that and I have a Commercial Pressure Washer
All the off roading it has done. There was gravel on the way to the "paint my car the color of lizard shit" paint shop.
What’s the best way to dry the center of the windshield and the roof of the car then? Since there isn’t a drying pole?
Hi Brandon, we don't have a product at the moment that does that, however I would recommend getting a pole and a large microfiber towel, wrapping the towel around the pole and using that. We'll work on creating a solution for this situation, and we'll report back, in the mean time stay tuned for more great videos.
can you guys do a lifted jeep wrangler unlimited??? its so difficult to wash
I feel like the green wheel brush should not be used on billet, aluminum wheels specially after they have been polished even tho they did not look polished. Maybe a microfiber towel would have been better

Thanks, I have that brand of wheels on all three of my trucks and I do have the green wheel brush as well so I will
Be using them 👍🏻

It's missing a lug nut!😂 truck rice where you at??
Hi Colin thanks for stopping by. Actually it's a cap, not a lug nut, I doubt the owner would drive that behemoth if the lug nut was missing.
Oh ok now I see!😂 Love yall's videos!!
Thanks buddy, much love from the Chemical Guys crew.
Is a clean truck😁😁😁
Tip #1 you need a good pressure washer( and he points to the easy bake oven ) like crocodile Dundee said ( that's not a pressure washer) That's a joke 😂 The OFF ROADEN. In L.A. Must be way different from everywhere else in the world.if my truck were that clean,It hasn't earned the right to a wash. Oh I forgot it's a yuppie truck, My bad

another tip is to not keep the mic so close to your mouth, cringe to hear you breathing through your mouth.
hahaha
@chemicalguys what psi and gpm is the pressure washer you guys use ?
Hi Robert, thanks for washing, we use a gas operated pressure washer with 2800 PSI 2.4GPM output. We obtained ours from Costco www.costco.com/A-I-Power-2700PSI-2.3GPM-Gas-Pressure-Washer.product.100343716.html
Either they washed the truck before doing the video, or this truck is a pavement princess.
Chemical Guys! Can y'all upload a video on how to clean Alcantara? Thanks!
Hi Austin, alcantara is a lot like suede, very difficult to clean. we definitely don't want people to ruin their beautiful interiors. We tend to avoid it because Alcantara is extremely absorbant, if you apply anything, you need to dry it quickly, and make sure to avoid oversaturating.
I’m worried about taking the paint off the truck with a pressure washer. I have a 2800psi craftsman pressure washer. Is that too much?
Hey there! 2800 PSI is actually perfect for automotive detailing. Using more than 4000 PSI has the potential to harm the vehicle.
- CG Nick
Beautiful truck!
Happy detailing!!
Can I ask why the front left tire lug nut has missing one of it??
Hi there, it's actually not a lug nut, just a cap that goes on top. Many of our viewers have pointed this out in the past, good observation. Don't miss the new video launching today, it will be memorable!

How do you detail a spray on bed liner (or drop in) and add a dressing to it so its safe and looks sexy?
cordell moser safe dressing on a bedliner? dont think theres such a thing bedliners are designed to take a beating not to look pretty
5:49 the wheel is missing a lug!!!
Aren't you guys in CA? How does thing pass inspection?
Hey buddy, thanks for scoping out this sweet video. It's a truck used for display at truck shows, you probably won't see this on the road often.
What was the name of the last music you used? Some heavy guitar there.
Watch the spikes!
How much would it cost for a wash like this?
Hi Yvette, we don't professionally detail cars here, we sell detailing products, and make videos on proper detailing techniques. If I had to make a guess, anywhere from 60-100 dollars. It depends on who is willing to take on the job, and if they have the tools to take on this beast.
I've seen that tundra on the streets
That's awesome!
'Heavy dirt'
Torn between using a leaf blower or the after wash stuff for drying....
tfpjr i do all the time and it works great because it gets in crevices and cracks that normally you can't get. takes me 5 minutes to dry compared to 10 or 15 minutes
tfpjr leaf blower if u have the time, less swirls
It looks like there is only 4 out of 5 lug nuts on the front left wheel ?
Hi Dan, it's not a lug nut, it's actually just a cap. Stay tuned for more great videos.

What do I do if I don't have a foam cannon do I skip that step ?
Fernando Alvarez if you don't have a foam canon but your pressure washer has a soap reservoir run more soap through for your pre-rinse. I've found it works great. I'm in a similar situation as you.
Jared Ostler I don't have a pressure washer though?
What's up Fernando,
Looks like you're going to have to do the 'ol classic handwash. Make sure to use the two bucket system so that you don't add any unnecessary scratches or swirls and use a different bucket for your wheels. After that, you can right into the following steps of this video. Happy Detailing!
Arent u scared a pressure washer will chip the paint?
Hey Azar! It is safe to use a pressure washer on paint as long as the PSI doesn't exceed 4000 and keep the wand moving.
Someone is missing lug nuts... #TruckRice #JohnSema #HelenKellerCustoms
Covfefe!
Who's breaking that was? Seriously
Any body else notice the missing lug nut?
Hi Jeffery, thanks for watching. It's actually not a lug nut, just a cap. Good eye though, stay tuned, more great videos on the way.
Really need a tool so the top of the truck can be hit with a clay bar
Thanks so much for your feedback!
Where do people that make RUclips videos get their awful music?

Love the wash of the vehicle. Unfortunate that's it's so horrendously ugly either way.
