I just love House's characterization. Sometime he looks to be in pain when he feels a hint of happiness or love; almost like he's scared to let it all in. Very subtle, but very House.
Watched the themes party dance scene more than 10 years ago and I still love it, completely. Peak a deeper insight into Huddy's relationship. I had always shipped Huddy before season 5 and 6 happened lollll. Since season 1 you can already tell Cuddy cares deeply about House (staying up in his hospital room to look after him and all, in season 1 finale). I was quite sad that they waited so long to make Huddy happen, and super baffled that they did that only to destroy it after 1 season. Back to the scene, it doesn't feel force at all the way they reveal how they met. Of course it was in college and of course they were interested in each other. It was so satisfying to me back then, as someone who love them together. Cindy's "Time After Time" was also perfect as the background music.
Ending their relationship in the way that they did was a big mistake. Not just their romantic involvement, but their arc as a whole. The season 7 finale felt very anticlimactic and abrupt to me, especially since they had just started communicating their unresolved issues and mending their relationship. I feel you as someone who also had been waiting since the first seasons for them to get together
When I see abandoned House in his XVIII costume being a perfect metaphore for him to never be able to fit in... this is the most heartbreaking scene. Whatever he might try to do or change he will never fit in. Ultimate solitude. Very relatable actually...
I took it as a bit of Blackadder callback as well. In one of the earlier series he's got it recorded in his telly alongside the usual monster truck racing
Stacy was better for him, though they had their problems too. The Doctor from the Arctic was a better suit for him. Or the foreign girl he pretended to marry. So many people were better than Cuddy.
My comment isn't about this clip, just wanted to share something with all House fans: Hugh Laurie was on a talk show, and said that anytime he hears a director say, "Action!", he starts limping. Sounds like House is a part of him now! 👍
Unforgivable how the show handled the end of their relationship. Of all the things that could have happened, they chose a goddamn attempted murder? It truly soured his character for me.
I agree with you the worst thing they could have done was to take Cuddy out of the series the idea of House and Cuddy being a couple was there from the beginning, you could tell by the chemistry between them, and the development of House's character as the story goes on from when he hallucinates about her and realizes he wants to be with her,but he has to go to Vicodin detox because of the hallucinations, and when he's clean he starts to improve as a person and tries to impress her to see that he can be a better man and that they can be together but she's with Lucas and he's still pining for her, until they're together and he tries to bond with Rachel when he never wanted to have children before. All of that marked a great development of House's character who grew as a human being and became a better person because of the love he had for Cuddy and the producers ruined it by taking her out, which sadly ruined the story and all of House's growth. And the character ended up the same or worse than he was at the beginning, more cynical and lonely than before.
Anyone else wish we could get a House reboot where we find out the entire series after they get together was just another one of Houses hallucinations?
I would take House's costume, scruff his wig, spray a bit of paint on hair and clothes, and hey presto we have Falco in Rock me Amadeus. That's 80es, isn't it?
Dr House cuddy and wilson is best friends first as a roommate humble staying in the traditional simple legacy classic way to be grateful and thankful pray for the poor pray for the family can't afford pray for the veterans who has Parkinson's and and ptsd pray for the needy pray no tax on tips to big to rig
House's dance being turning his head from side to side cracks me up XD
it's how the Safety Dance works
9:00 That line from Wilson always touches my heart. It's not often that House goes out of his way and helps someone for no selfish reason.
I just love House's characterization. Sometime he looks to be in pain when he feels a hint of happiness or love; almost like he's scared to let it all in. Very subtle, but very House.

Peek*😊😊😊
(Peak, is a mountaintop or high point.)

he literally asked if he should pack his leg warmers, he knew full well it was the 1980s lol he was just being silly
I took it as a bit of Blackadder callback as well. In one of the earlier series he's got it recorded in his telly alongside the usual monster truck racing
"So is Ramadan"...😂😂😂
Exactly what I was about to type 0:18
You beat me to it
Man, I watched this episode several times and realized that House had been pining after Cuddy FOR YEARS.. only for their breakup to end so badly💔
So upsetting how they did Cuddy just because the actress left the show. She was perfect for House.
I liked Stacy for him.
Stacy was better for him, though they had their problems too.
The Doctor from the Arctic was a better suit for him.
Or the foreign girl he pretended to marry.
So many people were better than Cuddy.
Sod House. She would be perfect for me.
as a boss and somebody to torment for fun - yes. as a long-distance lover - no.
I need to know more about the actress leaving the show!!!! 👀
"What are you thinking about?" "Fjords." i cant tell if this is on purpose, but its such a good gag

Wow! Unconscious conditioning can be very real.
It's an '80s party but I cant tell whether House is wearing a costume from the 1880s or the 1780s
I would say 1780s or earlier
It’s most likely a reference to the 1984 film Amadeus.
@@jacktion1546Yea, verily.
😁
@@jacktion1546i assumed it was a reference to Blackadder, a historical comedy sitcom starring Hugh Laurie in the 80s
7:35 My favorite part cuz I do the same turn of face to my friends when we're fucking around
House drugging Wilson moments were some of the best moments in the entire show.
They really were.. and it's even more funny knowing Wilson learned to recognize when House drugged him 😂😂😂
Say Anything boombox in the background!
Trying to attend a dance with a bum leg...
Bet it Feels Like Walking on Broken Glass.
Does attending dances with Cerebral Palsy count? Walking on broken glass would exacerbate it.
Bravo!
Unforgivable how the show handled the end of their relationship. Of all the things that could have happened, they chose a goddamn attempted murder? It truly soured his character for me.
It is a crime what the series did with their relationship.
Seriously! So agree😢😢😢
It’s a medical *drama* for a reason. Emphasis on drama.

*Did you pack my leg warmers
Hugh became House and House became Hugh. So beautiful and funny face.
Anyone else wish we could get a House reboot where we find out the entire series after they get together was just another one of Houses hallucinations?
I hope you found your pair of socks Prince George!
Like if you get it 🤣
oh great... just another episode of house drugging people.. :D
Ya know, I’d be happy if I had friends who would do that for me
Was in Wilson's luggage.
Gods, I loathe him; but I also like him.
I would take House's costume, scruff his wig, spray a bit of paint on hair and clothes, and hey presto we have Falco in Rock me Amadeus. That's 80es, isn't it?
I love this show and I love House but he's so extremely creepy when he's after a woman.
"undead hitchhiker" - Twilight Zone reference?
I just shitted on the floor
good job 👍
Can I see 😍
Typical Thursday for me
big fan
Was there a medical reason?
House it was a disguise from the 1980's not the 1780's 🤣
I’ll never forgive the show runners for ruining Huddy. 😞

Who's Lucas!!????? 👀
The pi that house hires about a season ago I think?
nice
So it's Ramadhan 😂
Ohhh. Wilson knows he has cancer around this point hun?
No...this is season six. He's talking about his patients; he's an oncologist.
