This week we got a special box from our friends at ‪@HARTTools‬ and the contents included several surprises!
You can build your own garden box with a single 1x6 and a few screws!

Nice job and simple enough anyone can do with basic tools. Looks like cedar which is great to use for the exterior that is weather resistant and looks great. I use cedar pickets for a cost savings. 👍🏼

Being a carpenter for 35 years I would never take anyones advice on building anything with no wear and tear on the tools or clothes. On a final note for all who read this. NEVER wear gloves when cutting things with a saw, I know a few idiots with missing fingers from wearing gloves. Sorry lady , I didn’t mean to put you down.

What's the point of a wooden garden box? Isn't it just going to rot after a few years? Should this be sealed some how?Also it looks like dirt is falling out of the drainage holes. Perhaps smaller ones would be better?
