    Of all the raised bed gardens I've seen on You Tube, yours by far is the loveliest and you did an excellent job on that wired fence. Not too many people would've thought of stretching it to make it more smooth and even. Excellent work :-)

      They are over 40 years old and still look like new. I have been trying to find a company interested in making them because so many want them and the old pools are not available anymore but none were interested. Thanks for watching.

    Thanks for sharing, I love how you have your garden setup. Good tips on the screws for hanging the fencing, and the clamps for pulling it tight, I'll have to remember that!

    Wow!.... glad I found you... I'm about to put up some fencing like yours and am very impressed with your tips! Your garden is incredible. You're far too humble regarding your efforts. I'm a 67 yr old woman & wish that there was an extra hand or two when I'm attempting these projects... I always have to figure out how to create a "third hand" so love how you tackled the stretching. You've made a subscriber out of me!

    Actually I think the way you stretched the net wire was quit ingenious. I agree net wire or even chicken wire is quit hard to make straight and not have bulges in it due to how it is manufactured. Great garden and video. :)

    I am 76 and plant every year. Fabric never works long .cardboard is free and lasts much longer under the mulch. Good luck😊

    Older video, but this helps me out a lot, I'm creating my first back yard garden and need to fence it in due to deer and groundhogs, I was scratching my head on how to do this as a one man operation, you have given my lots of great ideas and solid guidance, thanks.

      As of last year I can tell you deer can jump it. I added another 4 ft of fence tape that finally stopped the one rogue deer we had that liked edamame. Thanks for watching.

    A fun suggestion, leave the post tops hang lanters or planters on them the butterflies will love you. Your enclosure is terrific, I appreciate when people take the time to create estheticly pleasing working gardens. Love your tubes, I used corrugated sewer pipes for my rounds, our township discarded them as waste .

    thick layers of cardboard work better than landscape fabric. Grocery stores will gladly give you boxes, or Craigslist. Your garden is beautiful.

      Cardboard has lot of glue with lots of nasty chemicals. I'm glad you used the fabric. Your garden is beautiful!

      I've personally used cardboard. It tends to warp and curl up when it's really dry, and the mulch would never stay on it the same as when I used fabric...maybe because of drainage, I don't know.

      card board has chemicals in its manufacturing process which could be bad for your garden

    Love your fence. Once when my father was putting up a fence by himself he used the boards on the fencing like you did but instead of the clamps he used a come-along to stretch the fence. Great job!

      The fence is so thin and the welds break easily if you pull it with too much pressure in 1 spot. I guess that I may have just discovered something people have been doing for years. Thanks for watching.
