- Continuing my journey of painting through all my friends Marvel United miniatures, one box at a time! This will be the last box I paint for a while, so I decided to go out with a bang and try putting together longer form videos in addition to my usual shorts.
Good lord was it painful recording, listening to, and editing my voice... I'm sure I'll get used to it, and also get better at recording in a livelier tone the more I do it, though. Focusing so much on what I was saying that I ended up speaking a bit monotone on this one, but that should be easy enough to work on in future videos!
I for one am super fascinated to get to see the full process! You did a paint!
One or more paints happened!
Well done. I really enjoyed watching this video seeing how you go about it all with your style of painting. Look forward to seeing more in the future. Also making me wanna paint her up just watching you
Thanks man! She was a fun one, despite all my complaints about her coat. Got a tip on reddit to start with pink as a base for the yellow, so maybe give that a try that if you paint her.
My next video will be a little different. I'm participating in a little charity contest which I'll be posting about this weekend. But I have the rest of the Blue Team box waiting in the wings to get edited when I have free time!
@@sculptingjust4fun arh yeah I seen the pink base coat technique done before and it think it works well but I all ways found yellow to be ok but starting off with a brown/yellow colour and working my way up to bright yellows layers on top. oh nice one bud, I look forward to seeing more of your videos! And yes I can imagine the amount of time it takes to edit these videos up! One the main reasons stopping me making any videos lol
I like the idea of brown as the base better, too. I feel like using pink would make it a bit harder to get the exact color I'm going for.
Yeah, the short videos are pretty quick to edit. Usually taking about an hour and a half at this point. But this video... it took somewhere around 15+ hours. A good portion of that was learning the audio side of things, which I hadn't had to mess with in my short videos.
@@sculptingjust4fun wow man that's crazy didn't realize it take that kinda time to edit these videos. But either way great work
Hey bro it’s NotoriousMinis. Nice video man! Great to see the process of how you paint your minis. You should make more long videos!
Hey man! Thanks!
I have all the footage ready to edit into long videos for the rest of the Blue Team box. Now I just need the time to edit it all!
@ looking forward to the next one already
