The Watson Headache Approach and the Medical Model of Headache

Dean Watson discusses current research and thinking about the cause of headache and migraine. The symptoms of many headache and migraine types overlap suggesting that instead of the many different headache and migraine types being different conditions they are related. Recent Research has shown that Migraine, Tension Headache, Cluster Headache, Menstrual Migraine all share a common disorder and that disorder is a sensitised brainstem.
