I don't do FB or any other social media due to an old fashioned need for privacy, shyness, or something that I find difficult to express, but just felt compelled to let you know that I think you are an absolute fantastic artist (really love the mixed media touches), and the most generous JJ-er I've ever come across with your sharing so much content that can be printed for free. I'm new to JJ, having arrived from a need to find a way to use my own MM pieces that weren't "good enough" to share or hang, etc. And the time you spend to create videos for beginners without using expensive materials is so very much appreciated. Just started junk journaling,greatly encouraged by your wonderful videos....but where can I get some cheesecloth like you have...bought some online and it's completely different and not see through enough. (I live in England )

barefoot spinner thank you. Of course you can ask, the answer to that is no I didn’t go to collage totally self taught. I have always loved art and have an obsession with pens & paper. I’ve been a card maker for about 15 years and were sold in local shops, found Art journaling about four years ago which I loved because it took me out of perfection. Then I found junk journaling so that took over, now I try to mix the two because I haven’t got time for both lol. I went back to basics about three years ago starting off with drawing an Apple lol, I was determined to learn to draw. I have the ability to make most things and very much a visual learner. I was a hairdresser for 30 years which that’s all to do with balance which I had an eye for. X
Thankyou for your reply Andrea. So many people that create art I find have art degrees, and I don't, which makes me feel slightly inferior. You have proved that passion and natural talent is all you really need. Thankyou for your hope and inspiration in all that you do. Xx
