I guarantee you Simon’s change goes back to that eye opening video he did on McBeth’s channel where they picked each others lines. Simon couldn’t believe he hadn’t done what Paul told him to do before that.

I met Simon at Ledgestone last year while he was walking up to practice the 2nd day. I didn't want to bother him but I saw him look at my son (4yr old at the time) and saw him smile so I decided to approach him and Simon was talking to my son more then me and my buddy. that gave me so much more respect for him. he's definitely my favorite player because of story's like that

Melton on the ground was really good. I always hate it when they throw it to the guy on the ground as someone is about to go for a big putt or shot, and then the ground commentary has nothing to do with what is happening on the screen, but Melton would stop what he was saying if something cool happened and bring the focus back to what was happening right then on the ground. This is my favorite commentary team they have.
Edit: I was also there on Sunday with a GA ticket, but I would def agree with Hunter about VIP being worth it. If I go to another DGPT event, I will def plan to get VIP.

Had the luxury of spotting hole 8 Sat and then hole 17 Sunday and it's a blast. Got to see Robbie C caddying for the dude that looks like the crazy kid on Overcooked. Found Matty Os disc that he chucked over the barbed wire fence on 17 ( hopefully it will get back to him). Kristin is even better than you think. I think Melton did a great job with his on the course commentary debut. He was really engaging with the competitors and kept it light out there. One place where I could see improvement for him was during the post round winner interviews. It felt like all the energy was sucked out of the stream when he was getting their thoughts. It's probably just his personality and it worked well for the mid-round interview/talks he had. But comparing him to what Perkins and Earhart do, those two are able to get more out of that final moment.

With Paul. Coming off a shoulder injury, it takes a long time to get that trust back. Where even in the back of your mind you are no longer thinking about it. In recent videos, he was saying that he has to keep reminding himself that he can throw certain angles again because he has full range of motion. Even putting, he said he couldn’t get full extension, but now has to get the muscle memory back that he can.
This was a big step for his confidence coming off that injury that he is healthy or at least very close to it. You can still see the rust, he had a couple really bad shanks, but I think he is going to get better and better every week.
Is he going to dominate? No. He might take 1 or 2 wins, but we will see him in that 5-10 range quite a bit.

My favorite sports talk show right now is First Things First and they have a segment called the BUD list, "Broussards Under Duress" every week and he highlights players, teams, coaches, etc. that are in need of a big week or there butt is on the frying pan, but they do it in a way where they sort of pep talk them and let em know that they believe in them in a way. I think it would be super fun to see what ya'll would do with that each week in a mini segment. I'll bet Konner is a pro at pep talks

They just keep people in check, its needed to be official in the betting market. Cant wait to see what lines are offered. Wether its just win, top 5, top 10. Or we get player props like birdies, bogeys, ob strokes maybe, oh and the big score for the ace. Maybe certain holes have betting lines, like someone to ace a certain hole during an event.

Somehow, amazingly, in that entire segment regarding the threat, you guys managed to not specifically condemn the actual threat. You spoke about safety measures and bag checks which I appreciate but yet somehow managed to overlook the essential and most important thing of condemning the actual threat.
Your responses were ‘Well thank goodness something bad didn’t happen”.
Followed up with “Let’s take this as a learning opportunity for next time”
Grow a pair of balls please and condemn physical threats! WTF is wrong with yall?

I do think it goes without saying that they condemn the threats though.

Another close minded take that has negative impact on groups of people. How can you NOT see the usefulness of having a golf bag for an all day spectating experience. Pure ignorance

Well, it depends, if it's chalk full of discs it's dumb, if you just have a few for vanity and then drinks, snacks, other goodies then it's brilliant
