What is the difference between COPO 572 and ZZ572? only the EFI? 🤔
One runs on pump gas the other on racing gas. Racing gas engine makes 100 Horsepower more. Merry Christmas

The racing engine is the ZZ572/720R with 720hp...

Just the looks of it I would have guessed 725 horse and the price being around $25K

A 9.3 litre engine should make a minimum of 930hp, any engine should be capable of making 100hp/litre as a minimum.
This thing barely makes over 50hp/litre because its designers were incompetent.
I know that didn't say 500HP? I could drop a 427cc and get 1200HP easy. What's the problem with this Big Block? They're missing something here.

One thing I can think of is that it will give you 500 hp RELIABLY without it losing power after you do a few runs compared to a 383. I know mine does that but after a few runs and heat soak I have to wait for it to cool down. This is more like a tap of the pedal and you’ll always have 500hp

I'm a Chevy guy, but i'm curious: why buy an expensive COPO 572 with 500hp instead of a cheap iron block LS and turbocharger it to the moon? why don't a ZZ632 instead of this engine?
