Can you talk about photogenic types of faces? I feel like there are some people who looks better in reality rather than camera and there are people who looks better on camera than reality. And then there’s people who looks good in both. Edit : I didn’t expect this to get so many likes 😳

Since Europe had a large period of imperialization, these ideals were spread to other countries and since US media and movies are so popular globally, our beauty ideals influence other countries but there is an huge different between the beauty ideals of the media and beauty ideals of the individual. I think people need to make the distinction between beauty and attraction
Joshua Fuhrman exactly! Finally someone with common sense. Preferences are so varied in the real world that these high cheekbones, positive eye tilt talk is nonsense lol. I’m a black woman with all these so called desirable features but it does not translate in real life at all. Here was my original comment: This study is stupid. I have high cheek bones, a positive tilt, full lips, small button nose, heart shaped face, defined jawline but still feminine and tapered to a delicate narrow chin, small waist, big boobs, a decent butt, slightly above average in height for a woman but I wouldn’t call myself stunning. I’m pretty average and usually my friends who have flat cheekbones, thin lips get all the looks and attention but then again I’m black and they’re white soo I would say people tend to like the normal girl next door look over the high cheek bone upturned eye look... but again not sure if my point stands cause I’m black woman and we are judged entirely differently or disregarded when it comes to these kinds of studies. What I’m saying is, people have different preferences and no one actually checks for all these things in real life like if a guy prefers red heads he is not going to look at another girl with high cheekbones if she is standing next to a decent looking red head with flat cheekbones. Only in studies do people actually have time to look at pics and analyze and think about this stuff
nishan kandel I’m not photogenic I look basic in photos that’s my only issue otherwise I would absolutely. People have told me I’m the prettiest girl they’ve seen face to face I’m not sure what that means but I’m not lying and I’m not bragging I think I’m alright. I want to be a nurse since I’m not photogenic might as well help others
Omg fucking same. I've always thought my features aren't bad per se they are just the wrong gender lmao 😭😭 I think what matters more for women is how sexually dimorphic (ie feminine) their faces are. They can have a weak chin or flat cheekbones but still be pretty simply because they look female!
Jeremy - you only gave examples of men though... what feminine examples can you give of a woman with strong bone structure looking better as they age? Kiera knightly and Angelina Jolie are both starting to get that skelator look 👀 their faces look super severe and masculine now that the youthful roundness has gone
I liked how u gave an impartial and well researched look into the science of beauty and why these features are so sought after in the modeling industry. Its a fascinating topic that I think deserves to be looked into more, im so looking forward to the rest of the series!
ok, cool, you can view it that way. c was most attractive to YOU, c was most attractive to ME, but neither of us can explain why using an ounce of the understanding and physiological studying he did (well, i can and i once have, i cant speak for you fr tho). so that's your opinion, but you state what you're saying as fact and think you know anything about facial aesthetics, which is jarring. the fact of the matter is that most people selected a, so. it's not quirky, special, unique, or not being a follower to choose c instead of a, it's not contrarian or a gotcha to think a is any less attractive, they were both expected to be attractive, just for different reasons. sorry to break it to you, but most people find that so-called "upside down pentagon" that's "too wide" very attractive in men and masculine-looking people because it balances everything else out, usually, and what you consider "too wide" is wide enough. Henry Cavill, Mads Mikkelsen, Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise, Alain Delon when he was younger (in his prime), Leonardo DiCaprio in his prime, Harry Styles, the list goes on. Why are they often considered the most attractive men again (Delon not as popular as the others, but still)...? Because they have the features to back it up which aligns with a's features, but ofc there will be deviations, and a lot of the deviations even in that list have some features c (in the upper eye to cheekbone region) had that was attractive. There is too wide, Qoves has explored almost every, if not every, nuance there can be about facial attractiveness in the past 4 years. Anyways, as he said, when people get older they tend to get droopier in that region, but the older guys in that list earlier were considered at their prime the older they got. Because realistically, attractiveness will deviate between person to person, but there does exist gross attractiveness. I'm actually attracted to someone who looks like c, but his twin looks like a; I would want to be with the former, overall, but i do sometimes weigh which one I personally find physically attractive and my mind thinks of the latter, subconsciously. That's just the way of things. so that doesn't really mean anything to how a is unattractive. maybe to you, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder. im not using that in the stereotypical sense of that usage, what i mean is that there are outliers because people will behold things the way they want even if that isn't majority opinion, and that's okay. as long as you don't treat your beholding as the rule, as obviously you'll behold attractiveness based on what you want. c was most beautiful to you and me, but c was not deemed most attractive because most people weren't attracted to c. attraction, it's kind of hinted in the many definitions that something needs to pull the most of something to be considered most attractive. if it pulls anything it is attractive, but if it pulls the most of a quantity, it is most attractive out of any other included sample. it's when you ignore what people say and follow your own narrative thinking you've denounced their theory or provided a more excellent one without actually breaking down why they're wrong that you sound ignorant and uneducated, and very, very basic.
Love this sort of stuff, I love looking at human faces and trying to figure out what makes them attractive or unattractive so this is a good series for me
Really fascinating stuff. I'm glad you mentioned asians/cheekbone reduction as well. I've always felt some type of way about my "cheekbones". They're super wide laterally but quite flat in profile. It's a really odd look sometimes and doesn't seem to photograph well. I can see now that it's because my face lack dimension/shadowing, and this tends to look pretty bad in camera and my face ends up looking huge & masculine. Tbh I'd love to see a PT.2 on cheekbones if you had any more input, particularly with asian cheekbone reduction or maybe just a video talking about the differences between eastern vs western aesthetics/beauty standards would be super intriguing.
Interesting cuz I'm the same with my cheekbones, even though the only Asian genetics I have is Mongolian from my great-grandfather on my mom's side while she's mostly Slavic, and then black from my dad's side and whatever mix of genes comes from there
Fun fact: having more defined fácil features and prominent cheekbones is actually more masculine. Wide and soft facial structure is femenine. Tho cheekbones are more photogenic it doesn't relate with beauty at all.
Calm your Tits Wish I had a pretty face. People look at me like I’m freaky if I show my arms because despite all efforts no amount of fat ever goes there.
I’m glad that there’s a channel like you out there. I have been really interested in the science of beauty for the past years. And all of this has been nothing new to me. But I’m glad that your educating others out there.
I liked C, I knew I preferred more “cute” looking guys. Hyper-masculine dudes just aren’t very interesting to me and that’s okay! Maybe it’s because I’m Bi..
KaylaNoelle1 I’m the opposite. It’s fascinating, isn’t it? And, handsome or pretty is subjective. Which is good. My husband is big and really manly looking. Hyper-masculine, as you call it...but, I’m not really into muscle men. Just big men. Does that make sense?? Lol. I’m 6ft tall, so that may be why I like them bigger. 🌸
@@princessadora Me too! I realised recently that I hardly even know what my crush's individual features look like, because I look at him as a whole person like you say. Strangely I look more analytically at women, I think because I draw them so have studied female faces for hours on end lol.
I didn't realise having high cheekbones was a thing! I quite like the look of round puffy cheeks and I'm always trying to achieve that look in hopes that I'll look slightly cuter hehe.
I'm 25 and I've already started to look hollow and a tad haggard if not 100% rested and healthy due to my high, defined cheekbones and overall eastern european bone structure. Anyone wanna donate some baby fat?
Your voice and explanations are always wonderful to hear and easy to understand. I would watch more of these series. Videos on different attractive body features and not just facial features would be interesting to see too.
I'm loving this series. I came here for the instagram vs. reality one and I just stayed. Thanks for being careful with your sources and honest about what tends to be edited in professional/semi-professional photos. I also find it really helpful that you make these 'drop' videos that are short and straight to the point. Kudos!
I have been looking for something just like this!!! I love the links to the research, and the video is put well together. I’m so glad it’s continued despite beauty being a touchy subject. To the viewers - I don’t think these videos are suggesting certain body parts will automatically make someone beautiful or ugly. The wonderful thing about humanity is that there’s too much variety to allow for such a suggestion. As an observer of people, I’ve found mannerisms grab my attention more than what a person looks like. I hope others will enjoy this series as much as I am.
On a spectrum from yin to yang, the cheekbones, cheek "fat", and jaw line that you talk about is very yang. I recommend david kibbes metamorphosis who shows how each of our facial features, bone structures, and flesh can be more yin or yang. If you don't have these features you just have a little more yin elements in you which is still beautiful
Chloe Jayde I think it's quite beautiful. I know all these people now a days keep glorifying all the strong bone structure, and less facial fat features but that's only cuz the models now a days are like that. It seems like in the 50s the standard of beauty for women was more romantic like Marilyn
@@elizabethblanford8569 yes i agree, it is glorified quite a bit. It seems different body types go in and out of style, like in the 2000s naturals were very popular. I think we are moving back to romantics because strong curves are becoming popular
Chloe Jayde I feel like the curvy trend is dangerous cuz everyone wants the plastic surgery. Hopefully more people can learn that the way they are naturally is beautiful. The biggest thing to help me is by just simply looking up other people who have similar traits as me, cuz if I can see the beauty in them, then surely I can see it in me
Thank you for talking about this ! Next time you could maybe cover face shapes for males since there are a LOT of vids on of about woman and almost none about men :)
umm I've actually noticed a lot of the Victoria Secret models and so have ROUNDER/WIDER youthful doll-like faces and imo they're prettier than long faces
Yeah, but that face is not as wanted in high fashion/couture fashion, which is what he is talking about. They are supposed to look youthfull, warm, happy in VS :)
In the end it’s about facial harmony, Bella hadid and adut akech have completely opposite features but their easily in the top 5 fashion models right now. Bella looks more fierce and classic beauty and adut looks like a doll, but with the combination of her rich dark skin and long powerful legs it completes her entire look.
How is the production quality of your videos so high and you're only 20!! It's so good that even when you do quirky things like the break to pronounce physiognomy it fits in perfectly
Am i the only one who looks better in real life than camera? Edit: check out this video this is my transformation ruclips.net/video/svcFoqMS3Q4/видео.html
Can I just say My family are all models and I grew up in the industry where people talk about faces and attractivesness like this and I have to say thank you for thisw series its so accurate and informative to hear someone use scientific terms to describe this aspect of the industry! edit : These standards are really different however for what actually makes people attractive versus good looking - aquiline / equiline beauty like In a roman statue or classical artwork is another thing I would like to see you make a series on,as people with these faces - strong profile, long or straight nose with definitive shape, almond shaped eyes,a deep cupids bow*** a very full upper lip ,eyebrows that curl AROUND the face ,a pointed jaw or small facial circumference/head.If the model face says innocent, this face says entertaining.I would love to see sciency analysis of this
Picture B immediately caught my eye and for me that wide alien like eye look has always been immensely attractive to me and I love models that have it.
@@AlbumLeViola What I'm saying is that Kendall got a brow lift along with other surgeries to make her eyes more prominent. Without the surgeries, her eyes wouldn't quite have the "alien" look we associate them with today.
Very interesting that you said the more rectangular ratio is appealing for women, makes a lot of sense in the fashion industry , although i tend to find a compact 1to 1 mid face ratio as more attractive in both men and women, a deeper analysis of why the rectangular ratio is sometimes appealing in fashion as a more aloof and aggressive look would be great!
Having the concave cheek + prominent cheekbone ("ogee" curve--I didn't know it had a name!) look was something I always wished I had but could never achieve thanks to my buccal fat and general rounded cheeks, jaw, and chin. I think the only time I've come close to having that was when I was dehydrated, and that's not healthy...guess I just have to appreciate looking youthful at 32.
Same here :\ I’m very skinny but my Asian genes cursed me with chubby cheeks and a round face. I really want to remove some of my buccal fat but then again, I’m currently 16 so removing them now is only going to be detrimental to my face when I’m like, 30 or 40. I guess I’ll have to thank my oily skin and face fat later on when when I’m an adult for keeping me looking young.... sigh...
same, im working on it though lol dont judge me. I had a chin implant and lipo under the neck and chin. I really enjoy the way look now in comparison to before. I had to take medication due to a medical condition and i ended up getting "moon face" amongst other things. It changed my body in a way I didnt like. As im gettting older from 18 to 22 (surgery done at 21) i noticed my cheeks hollowing out just a bit from age. If im being honest I can't decide if i want to lessen buccal fat or have fillers (juvederm) on my cheeks. I decided to follow this channel to decide if its worth it to do either and to educate myself more on facial harmony. I feel its better for me (since i might do something about it anyway) to know what i want before I go to the doctor and have them work on my face.
*This was also discussed in Facehacking's channel in his Attractiveness series, Face and LMS also discussed this. I'm excited to watch new content of this.*

Sometimes cheekbones make you look like an alien, I like them when they don't go TOO far, the golden spot between a baby face and defined cheekbones is super attractive
I love this series! I always have been fascinated by this topic and was pleased to see this in y suggestions. They way you narrated is interesting & funny.
People have started to say i look too skinny because my face looks caved in now ever since losing like half a person worth of bodyfat in about 7 months
Prominant cheekbones and sharp jawlines run in my family and mine are pretty killer too but I cant maintain it cuz i would have to be super skinny overall. Oh well, Id rather be snackin Edit: My cheekbones are big, but when I eat too much my face looks rounder so it looks less flattering.
Your truthful explanation about certain characteristics of facial aesthetic is objective, and should not be contradicted with "beauty is in the beholder's eyes".
will u have an episode explaining the beauty standard differences of western vs asian countries? Noticed that a lot of features westerners tend to want, some asians seek to remove/change and vice versa. Great series!
Since you justified my ugliness, would you mind doing a video on women with masculine features? I have very prominent and protruding brow bone and it creates a line between the nose bridge and brow bone thanks! Oh and long and wide chin too Also L shaped prominent square jaw please!
Lol I love negative canthal tilts on men. It's so attractive to me. Then again I do prefer older men so that does make a lot of sense that it often occurs as we grow older. Also I dont think the majority of women prefer androgynous looking men. That first guy adam...I wouldn't say hes more attractive than johnny Depp and I dont even consider leo to be attractive. This was so fascinating to see what people think its beautiful
They've done studies that show that women only prefer more masculine men in countries where that aesthetic is pushed through media. In countries that don't have a strong media presence, the majority of men and women always preferred androgynous looking people.
@@baconfluffy Let's see I think it's because for example in cities where media is popular there are lots of men, most of them looking Androgynous that more masculine feautures are apreciated. While in countryside for example, tthere are lots of masculine looking men that androgynous men stands out. Well it's different in Asia tho
@@mudan8152 It's more likely that it is just a result of media pushing having masculine features for men and feminine features for women as more attractive.
More like 1.skin color 2.hair 3.body shape 4.face People wouldn’t bother looking at your face if you’re not their preferred skin color or hair type and second if you are fat
Cool series! It’s interesting see how facial attractiveness is to broken down into different biological features and causes. One tip: don’t flip the slides so quickly. You have many good examples and demonstration of what you’re talking about, and I wished you paused and go in depth a tiny bit more. There was one photo where you said low cheekbone but I was sure that it was high and I still can’t tell why it’s low.
I’ve never been a fan of the sharp angular look... I LOVE the soft rounded features like Leonardo DiCaprio and Marylin Monroe. I feel like Keira knightly looks super masculine 😬

reading a lot of the comments, this is the problem that i expected, qoves expected, and it's a very fascinating exposé of human nature, with you guys doing the exposing: these are older comments, but this is an open letter, so to those who got offended or think anything he said should be discredited, know this is the science of facial aesthetics. it's not that he called anyone ugly, he just said there are features people lean towards finding more attractive. some of yall dont listen and it's clear a lot of you took some things in and translated it wrong. again, i get there's humor in most of what yall are commenting, but i realize how truly touchy beauty even as a science in reading the comments; id be damned if i started watching qoves and got in my head. if anything, qoves boosted my confidence because it teaches me there are ways i can be objectively better than what people subjectively deem me to be. and i can be worse than what i subjectively deem myself to be, in more ways than one. idk, some comments sound insecure af and i cant live my life like that, even though i am a severely insecure person, i truly dont get how ppl are so insecure about superficial physical aesthetics like face structure (granted you aren't anorexic or obese) and not something deeper to the point facts about facial aesthetics trigger a defensive response, whether it be self-deprecation (like convincing yourself you have such bad flaws because you interpreted what you get from these videos too partially), or dismissal. that's probably what a lot of ppl need, facts, in order to fix their lack of acceptance of themselves. he didn't call you ugly for having eyelids, to those whom this concerns, that doesn't even make sense to what he said to even be a relevant conclusion, he was referring to face structuring between the eye and cheekbone portion, that certain looks are droopier than others and that can impact attractiveness. these videos are to help understand why your features are attractive to some and unattractive to others, and how to understand aesthetics. then, you can apply ways to make basic changes, without going under the knife or starving and dehydrating yourself, to round out or sharpen your aesthetics. we can obviously make jokes, which i was hoping to find in the comments, but can we also find this interesting and not dismiss what bro presented to us objectively? that is what's missing, objectivity, people can so worried about offending people that they relinquish objectivity; this is the only channel that will truly be honest with you and neutrally so, not calling you ugly or pretty, not being too nice and not being to mean. I'm reading these comments from 4 years ago and it tells me how little yall listen. it's not like he was using complex jargin, yall choose to be ignorant. it's a phenomenon with facts or objectivity, it'd break the foundation of what ppl use to cushion themselves and bubble themselves from realism and society. some of these comments scream insecurity, coming from an emotionally insecure person (i dont care about my looks all that much, but i worry more about if my personality is attractive enough for someone to love me, but most of you seem to go your life worrying if your physical appearance is enough for someone to love you, which somehow sounds more depressing than my insecurity). Simply, wanna know what these videos are about? They're on why facial proportions and aesthetics contribute to attraction. Certain things are more attractive than others to a general population, some are not, so here's an explanation on why that's the case, the Qoves videos. That's all it is, and I think that objectivity could actually benefit society because people are so insecure purely based on subjectivity, when objectivity can break down how facial aesthetics realistically are instead of how they can be perceived personally. It's as he predicted, ppl can touchy and start to reevaluate something as something else to fit their narrative or insecurities or something, it's just a defense mechanism based on comments like yours.
Really nice video idea, you should continue with this series for each key factor in the face. Could also do episodes on things like aesthetics which may not necessarily be a direct facial feature, but still very important
longer face is considered the goal for women? that suprised me bc of women like miranda kerr? she's not just 'an exception', it's her face shape exactly that makes her womanly and beautiful in the eyes of many, and theres logical reasons behind it.
Kiki baby yes you are correct. A woman’s attractiveness almost 100% correlates with how feminine her face and body presents. He’s talking about modeling standards not wether or not real people will be sexually attracted to you. Miranda is a good example of what attracts people to women facially... very delicate feminine and youthfully rounded. Evolution has made those features sexually attractive on a woman whereas modeling industry prefer more stronger angular masculine faces because of how they photograph.
@@nicolesmith4371 The modeling standarts are very strange. As someone who works in the newer wave of the fashion industry and sometimes in photography (but is a newbie), it can be frustrating how similar the girls from modeling agencies look. Especially when we're looking for an expressive face, and don't want to take beauty shots. I wonder why modeling agencies choose models on these criterias, it seems aged and counterproductive. Maybe it's only relevant for beauty shots and the older generation of people in the industry?
Wow the longer faces thing is very surprising to me. I read that longer faces are associated with MORE dominance because it's correlated with height, so we subconsciously assume people with longer faces are taller. How would you reconile that info? Great vids by the way, you have a great sense of simplicity and aesthetics in the graphic design and animations
I watched a few other vids on this channel before watching this one. They were all very interesting. I will say that all the terms used and stated ratios are a bit overwhelming for such short vids. I’d like to see/hear some explanations of each, but not too many in any one video. This topic is fascinating!
What’s makes a face attractive = win the genetic lottery Also, the more active you are, the better you will look. Basically, exercise more and eat healthy.
QOVES School of Instagram amazing! You’re waaay underrated. Excited for the growth of the channel + keeping posted for amazing content which you don’t really see much here on yt.
Westernized civilization basically have a generalized idea of what constitute the ideal beauty. For example, in a woman, currently: bright eyes (preferably blue), sharp eye brows, high cheek bones, contoured nose, plump lips, and sun kissed skin shade. Oh, yes! Must not forget the “slim” figure... All dictated by media for retail purposes...
Could you please delve further into whether there are differences in what is deemed attractive between different parts of the world and different cultures/people? It would be interesting to understand whether or not the universality of such beauty standards is related to colonialist beauty standards or globalisation.
Generally there’s a consensus on what faces are the MOST attractive, but in terms of which faces are beautiful to each person there is a lot of variation. Everyone understands what a model should look like, but most people don’t fall in love with models
What people need to understand that to be attractive to be a model is different than every day life. For models it’s all about sharp lines, cheekbones, jawlines etc etc Though you’d be surprised if you place a model in a local pub, they’d get overlooked.
Yeah this is true! Models get a lot of recognition and exposure due to their uncommon traits that set them apart from others and that's what makes them stand out, although this may not look pretty to most people, in the high fashion world people sought after these kinda things... Also if you look more you'll notice this a lot with a great amount of actors too, they always have a unique facial feature which people instantly recognise them for, it helps grow their popularity too.

The only way I get all the attention over them is when I wear something and my boobs show like a low cut top or even a turtle neck sweater or swimsuit but I usually don’t wear those things.

Omg fucking same. I've always thought my features aren't bad per se they are just the wrong gender lmao 😭😭 I think what matters more for women is how sexually dimorphic (ie feminine) their faces are. They can have a weak chin or flat cheekbones but still be pretty simply because they look female!
Oh my - same with me!!! But reading this, just made me realize I'm not the only one .. Yay for that!

C was most attractive. his eyes looked the best and his jawline looked way better too. A's jawline shape was like an upside down pentagon, too wide
I felt the same guess he just had better harmony
ok, cool, you can view it that way. c was most attractive to YOU, c was most attractive to ME, but neither of us can explain why using an ounce of the understanding and physiological studying he did (well, i can and i once have, i cant speak for you fr tho). so that's your opinion, but you state what you're saying as fact and think you know anything about facial aesthetics, which is jarring. the fact of the matter is that most people selected a, so. it's not quirky, special, unique, or not being a follower to choose c instead of a, it's not contrarian or a gotcha to think a is any less attractive, they were both expected to be attractive, just for different reasons.
sorry to break it to you, but most people find that so-called "upside down pentagon" that's "too wide" very attractive in men and masculine-looking people because it balances everything else out, usually, and what you consider "too wide" is wide enough.
Neoteny will make you look younger longer, don’t worry.
Uboa, you're beautiful just the way you are.

I found your unedited picture more attractive 😉.
Yep, i am soft dramatic, even after gaining weight my cheekbones stay very prominent

Very interesting that you said the more rectangular ratio is appealing for women, makes a lot of sense in the fashion industry , although i tend to find a compact 1to 1 mid face ratio as more attractive in both men and women, a deeper analysis of why the rectangular ratio is sometimes appealing in fashion as a more aloof and aggressive look would be great!
eyes are also important. Rectangular ratio is not enough if eyes are not attractive

If your profile picture is you Katie, you're already very attractive, you don't even need the prominent cheekbones

This was so fascinating to see what people think its beautiful
They've done studies that show that women only prefer more masculine men in countries where that aesthetic is pushed through media. In countries that don't have a strong media presence, the majority of men and women always preferred androgynous looking people.

reading a lot of the comments, this is the problem that i expected, qoves expected, and it's a very fascinating exposé of human nature, with you guys doing the exposing: these are older comments, but this is an open letter, so to those who got offended or think anything he said should be discredited, know this is the science of facial aesthetics. it's not that he called anyone ugly, he just said there are features people lean towards finding more attractive. some of yall dont listen and it's clear a lot of you took some things in and translated it wrong. again, i get there's humor in most of what yall are commenting, but i realize how truly touchy beauty even as a science in reading the comments; id be damned if i started watching qoves and got in my head. if anything, qoves boosted my confidence because it teaches me there are ways i can be objectively better than what people subjectively deem me to be. and i can be worse than what i subjectively deem myself to be, in more ways than one. idk, some comments sound insecure af and i cant live my life like that, even though i am a severely insecure person, i truly dont get how ppl are so insecure about superficial physical aesthetics like face structure (granted you aren't anorexic or obese) and not something deeper to the point facts about facial aesthetics trigger a defensive response, whether it be self-deprecation (like convincing yourself you have such bad flaws because you interpreted what you get from these videos too partially), or dismissal. that's probably what a lot of ppl need, facts, in order to fix their lack of acceptance of themselves.
he didn't call you ugly for having eyelids, to those whom this concerns, that doesn't even make sense to what he said to even be a relevant conclusion, he was referring to face structuring between the eye and cheekbone portion, that certain looks are droopier than others and that can impact attractiveness.
these videos are to help understand why your features are attractive to some and unattractive to others, and how to understand aesthetics. then, you can apply ways to make basic changes, without going under the knife or starving and dehydrating yourself, to round out or sharpen your aesthetics. we can obviously make jokes, which i was hoping to find in the comments, but can we also find this interesting and not dismiss what bro presented to us objectively? that is what's missing, objectivity, people can so worried about offending people that they relinquish objectivity; this is the only channel that will truly be honest with you and neutrally so, not calling you ugly or pretty, not being too nice and not being to mean.
I’m waiting for the beauty trend to lean towards big nose as being aesthetic bc I have a big nose 👃:))

Maybe it's only relevant for beauty shots and the older generation of people in the industry?
i deadass could not tell how you assigned the high vs low cheekbones to half of the examples
meeee
Smooth face reveal
Thank you for bringing up the ultimate betrayal in Merlin! Still shooketh!
Please make more of these videos bro. I love analysing the face. Especially after mewing for a year or two
merlin was so good
I watched a few other vids on this channel before watching this one. They were all very interesting. I will say that all the terms used and stated ratios are a bit overwhelming for such short vids. I’d like to see/hear some explanations of each, but not too many in any one video. This topic is fascinating!
What’s makes a face attractive = win the genetic lottery
Also, the more active you are, the better you will look. Basically, exercise more and eat healthy.
Well researched and interesting video as usual but mister host...bro... youre PRETTY 💀
Guys search about mewing it realy changed my face. Good luck
I just realized that this channel isn’t really that popular but I’ve watched all of the videos
The only two im missing is countured nose and fake tan lol.
Could you please delve further into whether there are differences in what is deemed attractive between different parts of the world and different cultures/people? It would be interesting to understand whether or not the universality of such beauty standards is related to colonialist beauty standards or globalisation.
That merlin comment bought back all the old pain from finishing the series.
Generally there’s a consensus on what faces are the MOST attractive, but in terms of which faces are beautiful to each person there is a lot of variation.
Everyone understands what a model should look like, but most people don’t fall in love with models
What people need to understand that to be attractive to be a model is different than every day life.
For models it’s all about sharp lines, cheekbones, jawlines etc etc
Though you’d be surprised if you place a model in a local pub, they’d get overlooked.
Finally someone said it
Yeah this is true!
Courtney with a C disagree with both: This study is stupid. The only way I get all the attention over them is when I wear something and my boobs show like a low cut top or even a turtle neck sweater or swimsuit but I usually don’t wear those things.
@@froyokid Hey I'm sorry you feel that way, and literally the people who ignore you and think that way don't even deserve your time anyway dude, screw them they're idiots... Over here in the UK it's such a diverse country that you rarely see discrimination towards any race... Of course racism is still an existing thing no matter where you go in the world but I feel like America is crazy for the amount of discrimination people face every day... For something stupid like skin colour, Its shocking. I'm really lucky to have the parents that I do, they brought me up to respect everybody and for that I'm so thankful. I have a large family and have cousins who are black, white, Asian you name it... and I love them more than the world, I see no difference in people, at the end of the day we are all put here and face struggles so why should we make it harder for each other? Anyway idk that was just my take on the situation... But yeah no literally if people are gonna ignore you because of your skin colour then they're obviously the kind of people who don't deserve your time or interest... You can find way better people out there
@froyokid, it is about your facial harmony and how your features go together it is not because you are black. I see a lot a stunning black woman how are why better then white woman so like I said it all about proportion
you are charming and very well spoken keep up the good work
