Yes such a characterful engine
They sound like a cross between "Paw Bear" and a Grumpy Old Man, both with skyrockets up their fundament! Add in the turbo's rendition of a laying hen, and NOBODY could avoid a grin!
Every time I heard it, I had instant flashbacks to Michele Mouton in full flight in the original Audi Quattro rally car, c.1982!
Apologies to youngsters... "Paw Bear" (actually "Paw Rugg") was a Hanna & Barbera cartoon character in the mid 1960's. He mumbled in a deep, gruff voice... Yeah, I'm old! 😜

Man, that 812 looked so sick... That car is insane. It's my understanding that it is QUITE a handful haha. So much power to the rear. And a sound that is to die for

Never thought I'd see a KTM super car
So cool you finally could get in one these. I actually had the opportunity to drive a GTXR in the wet last year here in Austria. Drove it in the wet and man it was a handful. Loved it though and the feeling you get when entering and closing the capsule is quite NASA/ aerospace like!

Fabulous videos as always. Just to pick up on the hearing issue re the GT4RS. With age related hearing loss yes you lose acuity BUT you still perceive louder sounds as you always have - a phenomenon known as recruitment, This means even if you have a 30dB hearing loss you can still hear and get hearing damage from louder sounds

Those tires not only look heinous but that KTM was 100% not designed with those tires in mind.
Car was designed with slicks in mind. So actually every road tire doesn't give it the front end grip it asks for. 235mm is the front width I think

Yes it's a car care garage so lots of washing of cloths etc, my focus however was the car not a washing machine...

cant you get some upgrade packages on the xbow with one being controllable suspension? cause considering that its missing the most major upgrade package (the gt2 package) i doubt it has that many addons on it. Also the vibrations are that noticeable cause the engine's steel cage is bolted directly onto the carbon fiber that the monocoque is connected to

That question also came into my mind, before I drove it I thought yes based on how special it looked but after driving it as amazing as it is I could see how tiring it would be to use regularly. It really is a special occasion car, not a main car like it would be for me, thing about my GT3 I can use it for so many things and also drive it normally and quietly long distance.

Der abstand reifen radkasten ist zu gross. Das ist nicht gut gelöst. Tieferlegen nicht möglich, sonst sitzt er aufm boden. Sonst ein traumwagen.

Just curious - why wouldn't you pay someone to put in a sound deadening partition behind the seats in the Porsche? I'm sure you're not the only person who had a problem with the sound and if you could afford THAT Porsche, you could have afforded a solution.
You’re assuming it’s easy when it’s not if you would first go look at it and second think about how complicated it would be to build glass not only that fits but that can somehow be fitted. By all means if you think it’s that easy please go find an engineer, make it and sell it yourself all on your own cost, just pay someone as you said 😂
