What a daring Idea, taking a piccolo flute to represent the rising ocean - and it works in a strangely graceful way! Since i have heard some of your compositions, i am in love with your music. Thank you, Mr. Beeftink!

At 3:17 when the music notes ‘catastrophic, the piccolo line felt like screams of pain and futility. It felt like lashing out because no one was listening. It was incredible, and I wish I was talented enough to portray suck strong emotions through music. Incredible composition!

This sounded great!!! It really shows how pretty piccolo is. When played right, it’s a beautiful instrument and some people don’t understand that. It’s often known as a dog whistle, yet you made it sound incredible which is amazing. I love all of your music, and am a flute/pic player myself. I’ve played many things, but your music is truly unique and something I haven’t heard before. Great job!

He really uses the "wood" register of the piccolo that others don't use because they think it's inaudible. It's... not.

This...was heart-stopping. Not only are your compositions always spectacular, the performance and expressive delivery by both yourself and Mr. Kumaran (or any other reputed flautist who has performed these compositions alongside you) are outstanding, in addition. I first discovered your music three or so years previous, and your music has quite literally provided a motivation for me to continue pursuing music as a career.
Your flute, piccolo, and piano compositions are always enchanting to experience. It would be delightful to hear any further compositions you complete, and it would be especially interesting if you chose to compose for trumpet, euphonium, clarinet, oboe, bassoon, or any other instrument you so choose to compose for. Regardless of what instruments are chosen, every composition you create is assured to be something that everyone shall enjoy.
Thank you for your outstanding and unique compositions.

I interpret the soft beginning as humanity goes about business as usual (doing nothing to save our planet). The second part is our Earth begging us to change our ways. At 3:17 it shows the destructive impacts to humanity (massive hurricanes, rising seas, and wildfires among others). The ending is unresolved because it shows that the end is not here; we can prevent the worst and turn around our future for the better.
Amazing job, Mr. Beeftink! I've been a longtime fan of yours.
