I thought the Americans invented that, besides I have never seen the Chileans doing the same thing, and they are about as close to the old Prussian as you can get. I really like to find out, if you have any links to show me what you said is true, then it would be greatly appreciated, because this is something new I just learned.
@@TurfSurf The Chileans use some kind of pseudo tradition thats not really prussian they just want to show off. They are using the wrong marching style. The Bundeswehr is using the right type of marching style, the goose step is only for the line infantry and I dont think the chileans are still fighting in a line like in the napoleonic wars, the Bundeswehr is using the marching style of the light infantry because they are light infantry. And and I have found something on Wikipedia that says something about the fancy weapon moves: „It performs special movements according to the old Prussian drill regulations in addition to the formal service of each soldier.“. The old prussian drille regulation is still used by the Bundeswehr its from 1813 and I don’t think the americans were doing something like this earlier than the germans.
