- The era of skyscrapers in India began with the completion of the LIC Building in Chennai in 1959. With 12 floors initially, it was the first skyscraper in the country and remained the tallest building in the country until 1961 when it was surpassed by the 25-storied Usha Kiran Building in Mumbai.[2] Many taller buildings appeared in various cities in the country ever since. Palais Royale structurally topped out in 2018 as the tallest building in the country with a height of 320 meters but the building is still under construction. World One at 280.2 metres (919 feet) and 76 floors[3] is the tallest completed building in the country which will be replaced by Supertech Supernova Spira constructed in Noida in the upcoming times. Several taller buildings are under construction[4] as well as some are on-hold.

Surprisingly, there is no building is covered from outside of Mumbai & only Kolkata is an exception.I hope we can see lots of big buildings upto 300m in upcoming years in cities like Hyderabad, Noida, Gurugram, Pune, Kochi & Navi Mumbai.🙏🇮🇳🙏.
Most of North India lies in Seismic zone 4,5 which is dangerous for tall towers..

The list is fine and most of tall buildings in India are located in Mumbai. But this guy forgot to mention the Supernova Spira building in Noida. That is currently the tallest building in India at 300 metres and 80 floors and also topped out already.

India needs modern skyscrapers, it shows country's economical strength and promotes tourism. It also proper road structure and wireless footpaths.

@@Content809 realistically the land area in monaco is small too it's more dense than india but ofcourse it won't build a skyscraper in its K2 summit or anywhere in the Himalayas but cities like delhi that are gonna be the most populated city by 2025 i think they should leave horizontal growth by now

Palais Royale is not 88 floors tall. I counted it on site, it is around 60 floors. Also, you missed Minerva in Mumbai, which has almost reached 300m in height.
You are right but palace royale building construction stoped due to some reasons and now construction started with full speed to targeting 300 Miters
