I sleep in my T@G with a Phantom 0F/-18 bag, in the colder months. Long johns are a must to stay toasty. You can really customize this unit or keep it basic. Camping is all about adapting.
We have a 2018 T@Gxl and love it! I pack my clothes "Marie Kondo" style and can get quite a few shirts and pants in my cupboards. I use slim packing cubes in the "night stand" (sliding doors behind the pillows) for my pjs, underwear and socks. In my large packing cube, I store a warm sweater. Heavy jackets for any really cold weather that surprises us are kept under the bed. The only other things we store there are emergency items.and other gear for unexpected weather. nüCamp does a wonderful job making a beautiful teardrop... I do wish they had put hydraulic lifts to make it easier to lift that underbed storage cover. Thanks for the great review! I haven't taken our T@G out in snowy weather... except for camping in it over Christmas 2019 =) ~ Maria Ps. We went on a 4,000 mile road trip in March and April with out T@G and it was a fantastic and beautiful adventure!
That’s all so great! Completely agree with the packing style and the under the bed storage needing lifts. That would have been great! Thanks for watching!
Ours is a 2019 with no heater, so wondering if we could find somewhere to install one. We just got ours and are super excited to get out and enjoy it. Live the video!!
I’m sure you can definitely find a certified mobile rv technician to install one! Check out rvtaa.org and look on the tech locator map for someone near you!
Great review! Looks like a great little teardrop. We were looking at these, but they were a little out of our price range so we went a slightly different direction. They look cool though. Keep up the good work and thanks for sharing!
I'm glad you guys had a good trip. I still suffer from sticker shock on teardrops even though yours was " tricked out ",so I'm seriously considering building my own. I'm a cheap old man,but I like to tinker with things. Enjoyed watching your tubes!!!!
Thank you! Yea this was a rental and now that we are settled in the tiny house we are wanting to get something similar to the teardrop for some weekend trips. But you’re so right, the prices are crazy! Haha
Does the faucet do hot water ? Ok looking at the Coleman 2023 1200rk vs a used 2020 tag XL limited edition with a fold out solar that they are giving with it. Also has a bike rack and the TV feature. The 1200 seems a little bigger but I'm sure it's not a large difference. It would be me and my partner and two dogs for camp trips, we'll do the tent attachment to which ever unit we get. Do you have any advice or lean one way or the other ?
I noticed in the galley, the 10 to 12 inches on the floor between the trailer edge and the cabinets. Do you find yourselves having to bend at the waist to reach items on the stove or countertop? I imagine the Boondock is a couple of inches higher than the non-Boondock edition. Thanks
Hi. Would you mind telling the make and model of the fridge that fits so nicely into the Yeti compartment. I wish NuCamp would get rid of the microwave and Yeti, and add the 12v fridge and extra storage as the normal build. Thanks.
Hi! I’m sorry but I don’t know the exact model. I know it was a Dometic fridge cooler. Could by used in 12v or 120v when plugged into shore power. I know they makes a ton of different options and sizes so definitely check out their website!
@@MoseyingAround Thanks. I have one just like this (2021) and have been trying to find a fridge that fits. Most of the ones I've seen are too long and won't let the hatch close.
Yea definitely check them out. They make all different sizes. And it’s super nice they make a 12v plug as well so you can keep the fridge plugged in while traveling or boondocking!
Thanks for the review guys. I'm in the market for one of these used, and this review helped me out
That’s great to hear! Happy adventures!
Excellent video! I found this very helpful as y’all make some very good points.
Child safety clear corner guards helped me .
Good call! Definitely needed.

How's the T4R tows the Tag and what's your mileage like? Thanks!
Towed like a champ! Can’t remember the mpg but didn’t have any issue at all.

What fridge do you have?
I believe it was a dometic.

How much is this?
You will need to contact your local RV dealer for pricing!
Good Information to know!
Thank you!
What awnings are those
I’m not sure to be honest. It was a rental and they came with the teardrop.
We have a 2020 T@G and ours is a Yakima Slim Shady.
Thank you for that info!
