How much alcohol is in my cocktail? Here's how to tell

Easy formula is as follows:
(Volume of alcohol X ABV% / total volume of all ingredients)
Example:
2 oz bourbon X 40% = 80
2 ounce bourbon + 1 oz lemon juice + 1/2 of simple syrup = 1.5
80 / 3.5 = 22.85%
