Best Sony A6000 video I've watched.
That makes me very happy Enes 🙌 Thank you so much 😌
truth!
Its true! thanks alot
🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆💯💯💯💯💯
I've had the a6000 for about 2-3 years and honestly this is the best Sony a6000 video/tutorial I've ever watched. Keep up the good work! Subbed!
Mate... People like you make me want to keep going. The support from one comment like this is everything. Thank you so much for letting me. I will for sure keep grinding with new videos. Cheers 🙌
Yeah big help
Thank you for this video, I've got this camera for 5 years, only been using it for photography. Now i want to use it for videos. Thank you!
You’re great at this, Tom! I see your channel taking off in 2021.
Hey Peter, thanks so much for your kind words mate. I hope your words become a reality! Your support is much appreciated 🙌
At last! Thanks dude♥️♥️♥️
Nice advices (with good explanation of why) about concrete tricks no one else mentions in other videos, such as export format, creative mode, and postprocessing corrections. That's the real value of this video. In 10 minutes covered more than some other half an hour videos...
Thank you Robert for your kind words! Means a lot. And im glad the video was helpful!
Just found you and really need to say : Thank you ! You're doing a really great job there
Hey man, thanks so much for this comment. It really makes all the difference making the videos knowing that someone finds them useful 💪🙌
Oh Maan your videos are a must, I learned so much watching your content lately, and you made me love my a6000 again. keep it up
These kind of comments is why I love videos for you guys. Thank you so much Abdel 🙏
Thanks a lot toms for the tips and trick! Such a great B-roll. Love it bro
Heeey Ares, as always - a pleasure to get a comment from you 🙌 Yeah I love the B-Rolls with these 2 lenses too - always come out quite nice. Cheers brother 💪
Every time I'm tempted to upgrade my camera or get a new lens, I check out youtubers creating their work using the same gears I have. Like you said, there are definitely better cameras and lenses out there. But knowing how to fully utilize what we already have is more important. I've been a hobbyist in photography. Now I want to get to know videography. I have to say the work needed to create a nice video is much more than a picture...... I have a lot to learn......
Great job btw!
Hey Tiffany and thank you so much for your very kind words. It honestly means a lot reading such message 🙏 You very well get the point. The idea behind my videos is to show that a budget should not be the reason to not do photography/videography. Yes, it is expensive hobby, but you still can have lots of fun and create very good content. Im glad you catch my drift :)
And yes, videography is 10x harder/time consuming than photography in almost every aspect (capturing, editing, exporting), yet still I hope you will have fun in your learning process (as it should be) and good luck!
This b roll is sick man, randomly found your channel and these videos look amazing, keep going
Privet Vladimir i sposiba 🙌 Im glad you ended up on my channel somehow, hopefully something useful for you can be found here 🙌 Yeah man, plans are big for 2021 so stay tuned 💪
An older video of yours dude but wow packed full with useful and useable information. I have only done video with my gopro 8 black, I'm wanting to give video a go and thought I'd use my a6000, after a search you come with the goods, thanks man. Hopefully it won't be awful 😂
Thanks man, like all the comments below, I’ve had the a6000 for a few years and know I haven’t been getting the most out of it, little tips and tricks like exporting in 4k and checking boxes assures me that this camera is capable of producing high quality video like yours, thanks! Just bought the sigma 18-50mm f2.8 and excited to try it out! Torn whether to get a couple of f1.8s too but for an all round multi purpose versatile lens, the quality seems amazing and more practical for what I’ll be using it for, your video on it helped massively with the decision 😁
Ryan, huge thanks for your nice comment and kind words. Im so happy you got a nice set. Sigma 18-50 is brilliant lens. Their f1.4 prime lens lineup is mind blowing. I have the Sigma 16mm f1.4 but im keen on getting the 30mm f1.4 and 56mm f1.4. I fell in love with those after Sigma sent them to me to try them out. Putting it out there just for your inspiration lol - don't go crazy buying every lens in the market haha. Cheers buddy!
Great video! I recently purchased the A6000 as my beginner camera and I am learning a lot while watching your videos. Keep up the great work
Hey Luis, first of all, thank you for watching my videos and leaving a comment. Its always so nice to know that people find it useful. Second, good luck with your new camera 💪🙌
Brother does this camera support 4k 60fps videos?
Thanks for sharingg this!
You are very welcome!
Yur video saved day! Thanks a lot
Cheers buddy
Excellent video, thanks
The way you discuss all this stuff is really really awesome..👍👍
Thanks so much Sagar 🙌
I watched this video for the first time about a day after it went out, but at that time I didn't know almost anything about photography and videography... And now I've jus watched it again, and I've just realized this is one of the most useful videos I've ever watched in my life...
Time passes, but Toms, your videos seem to never get old 🤟😂
Maybe could be great to see a video in which you let us see in depth how to colorgrade a6000 clips (Maybe in both Premiere and DaVinci Resolve).
Cheers from Italy 🇮🇹💪
That's such a huuuge compliment Niccolò 🙏 I really appreciate it mate.
Regarding color grading, yeah I feel like I owe that kind of video for the 8-bit community 📷
Amazing video. Thank you for making this.
Thanks for checking it out Soy!
I love your content so much ❤❤❤🎥

Brilliant video thanks. I am considering getting this camera as it’s fairly cheap. You got some great results well done.👍
Thanks so much! It still is a little beast (surprisingly). I think the key is investment in decent lenses. Good luck!
A lot to study in this vid! Thanks a bunch, Toms!!
Yeah it's a bit long but information full. Tried to make sense with those sections, so people can go back and forth as needed. Thanks for checking out the video my friend!

Thanks for the tutorial, my footage is way more better now! Cheers
Thats so awesome to hear Milos! Cheers buddy 🙌
I scanned the comments to see if anyone else asked this question and I didn’t see it, so I hope you this is redundant. I tried to change my record setting to the ones you mentioned and I don’t have the same ones you have. My choices are 60i 24M(FX), 60i 17M(FH), 60p 28M(PS), 24p 24M(FX), or 24p 17M(FH). So I have no idea what any of this means. I have the same camera you are talking about it and I am wanting to make videos. After years of having this camera I am finally going to learn how to use it proper. I really appreciate your help and I look forward to watching your other videos. I love how you show how to find the settings you are talking about instead of just talking about them, It’s so helpful. thank you for making these videos.
Hey Kassie, hmm yeah I definitely dont have a comment like this asked. I have a sense it has to do with the FILE FORMAT. Under the first tab (camera icon) and 1st page on the bottom there is "File Format". I use "XAVC S" as a file format and it gives me all the options I talk about in this video.
I see that if I choose "AVCHD", which is the one you have selected, then the record settings are as you mention above.
So use XAVC S instead of AVCHD and you should be fine :)
Hope that helps
Thanks dude. Very informative. Subscribed 👍🏻
Thank you so much for subscribing. Your support helps a lot 🙌 and im glad you liked the video 👌
This is amazing. tysm
Thank you Francisco!
I have a Sony A6000, 50mm and a 18-105, both got OSS but never attempted to do any video, used it mostly for stills. After watching this video I'm inspired to give it a shot. Thanks Man. You got a new subscriber.
Nice setup you are having there Walter. Definitely give it a shot, I think you will get nice results. And thanks a lot for subscribing, means a lot 💪
dude the 18-105 is so GOOD for video
Good Work . Keep Going !!!
Always 🙌
Started to learn about all the features on my a6000 camera and found this very useful! Up to now, I only use it to take boring pictures, lol :)
This camera is truly powerful. I am more and more enjoying "unlocking" its true potential. You have a lot of ways to make it work in your favor so you will be on your way to take less boring pics 😇
Well done. Very helpful.
Thanks for checking out the video Dan 🙌

Love your content man.thenway how u utilized and boost the profile of the a6000 proving its u don't necessarily need an expensive camera

Thanks for the tips Toms. Gonna try out some of the camera settings. It's nice to see a glimpse of how you edit your videos. I like the way you edit and the colors in your b-roll, especially in the landscape ones.
Hey Leo, thanks a lot for the kind words my friend 👌 Since the a6000 does not have color profiles, I tend to keep the editing quite simple and actually did the same on my Sony A7II and honestly it does the job. Glad you like the colors. I will definitely make more behind the scenes videos going forward. Cheers mate ✌️
in 2022 still have a a6000, this video help me a lot , thanks

@@TomsJurjaks it did in saving up for the 6100 lol. This video helped me solve my sound issues thou. I hate recording sound in my camera. What I used to do when I was doing to school was record sound externally
lol @@MischiefOne im so happy for that. And I think you did an excellent choice regarding a6100. Now I can't decide if I wanna upgrade to a6100 or a6400 - help 😁
@@TomsJurjaks well if you have the funds, the 6400 of course. I do not have that type of income yet but when i do its the 6500 lol cause it will take a bit to get a following large enough And i do educational fun projects for kids

thanks for the video! Can you also do a similar one about how to prevent shake in videos when using the a6000?
You should use gimbal and/or stabilized lenses, tripod and/or shoot at 60fps when possible

Wow!!!!!! I have learned new things on this video! Keep on, but can u or anyone else tell me what is the best cheap (not very) lenses to get to my SONY A6000, and thanks for the answer .
Hey buddy and thanks a lot for the comment! I will soon make a video about cheap lenses, but I am still doing some research, so stay tuned!
Love this❤️! Got a6000 for Xmas but my footage is wonky (want to make beauty videos with blurry background). About to get a new lens. Do you have suggestions on what mics to use for improved audio for this camera, & basic lighting for beauty vids (my ring light seems to not pick up colors accurately)? Thanks so much! 🙏🏾👍🏾
Hey Jane, so nice for you to check the video and leave the comment. I think I cover most of your questions in another video of mine, please check on my channel video called "Vlogging on Sony a6000".
I also speak there about mic limitations and how to work around it. Check this video's description to see which Mic i recommend.
Regarding the light, thats a bit tricky point here, since a6000 is bit older camera that does not have color profiles (like slog-2 or HLG) it is bit harder to get the right color. Im struggling with it too a bit. As far as I know, newer models have improved accurate skin tone recreation.
❤️❤️
Squeezing the best out of A6000. Challenge accepted! Thank you again, great video!
Lets go 🔥💪😎👏
