I buyed a fridge and when I try the ice didnt came so I was searching you video helped me I was so tensed when the ice is not coming thank you thank you so muchhh

Am Ende bin ich darauf gekommen in Bild Anhang diese Führung gummi durch denn Loch rein gefallen mit viel Mühe habe ich es raus gezogen dann ohne Entlüftung nach dem ich behelter eingeführt habe einwandfrei gelaufen. Ich teile meine Erfahrung mit Ihnen da mit Sie auch weitere Kunden schreiben können. Ich hoffe gefehlt Ihnen meine Mitteilung. Sayin

The default temperatures for an LG Refrigerator is 3 Celsius. For the Freezer the default temperature is -18 Celsius. These defaults will work fine for almost all food and drinks. You may want to change these temperatures if the type of food or drinks stored in the appliance requires differently. This will be indicated on the packaging of the food and drinks. By the time you read this you probably will have ice available from the ice maker.

Do you know if the water pressure is enough (if you have a plumbed unit)? If it concerns a unit with internal water tank, it might be the pump that has become bad or perhaps the waterline needs to be vented. It may also be that the timing needs to be adjusted, but that requires a technician to check. In short, there could be numerous reasons.

@@LGSAE LG GSL761MCKV_MBK American fridge freezer. Theres a tub that fits in to the ice making area but then you cant close the door or compartment? its on P29 no.3 of the manual ...whats it for? Thanks
If the ice maker is on, the test button should activate the ice maker tray motor. If not, you may need a technician. Please contact your local LG support desk to discuss further steps..
@@LGSAE No, the test does not start. Disconnecting the power supply did not help. A cable was wedged between the ice mold and the right case. After I freed it, everything worked again immediately. The problem is that the ice mold often pinches this cable again due to its movement. Or is it the water pipe with a white sheathing? I can send you pictures of it if you wish. But I prefer communication in german.
Hi, my test works fine, dispenses ice and fills right back up with water, but doesn't dispense again once frozen? Pls help, cld this be a thermistor or something? Will try turning it off for a few hrs, driving me mad as wife uses ice all the time, cheers
How does it work with a GSXV91MCAE? LG Support Germany linked me this video for a GSXV91MCAE, but this is not the same ice machine. Mine has no visible buttons under the cover.
Dear Christoph, probably you have a model where you need to take the ice bucket out, then look at the lower left side under the ice maker. there should be a button.
The switch should really be there, in some cases it is a pin hole though. If you want, could you share an image of the bottom and front side of your ice maker via training@lge.com? We are happy to take a look at it. Sharing images via comments is not possible.

this test button should be renamed to troubleshoot button 😅. my ice maker is stop making ice and with the press of this button the pipe is unclogged.

It needs to be freezing for at least 24 hrs. The whole unit needs to get to at least -18 C.

Please, my fridge's ice tray keeps dispensing the water immediately it is refilled before it is iced and then it continues to leak onto the floor.
That looks like a problem that requires a technician. Apparently the software or temperature sensor of the ice maker do not work well.
