Thanks, Fraser Love it, love it, took me back to my misspent youth; Saturday mornings at the Granada Cinema in Tooting, South London. Fabulous times, keep up the good work and your new project.
Fabulous, Fraser - ragtime at its very best! It has been claimed that if Charles L. Johnson (a Kansas City man) had lived and worked in New York, he would be included alongside Scott Joplin, James Scott, and Joseph Lamb as one of the greatest ragtime composers. He wrote more than the other three combined and exemplified a greater range of talent, composing waltzes, tangos, cakewalks, marches, novelty pieces, and other types of music popular at that time. 'Dill Pickles' was the biggest hit of 1906 and although the first rag to sell a million copies was Scott Joplin’s 'Maple Leaf Rag', the second was 'Dill Pickles'. Sadly (in my opinion!), by 1906 ragtime was already beginning to wane. This piece of music made use of the “three over four” syncopation that was subsequently copied and used in dozens of rags by other composers - even Joplin himself had difficulty getting away from its conventions. It's impossible to stop your feet from dancing along, even when seated! BRAVO!
Excellent playing, very lively! It sounds like you have a second touch feature! Out of curiosity, how long would you predict the actual book of music for the CD would take to sell out? I am interested in it, but I would want to hear the pieces finished first before buying the music first.
Fabulous! I do not yet own that Morton program, but soon will. Did you buy the Wet or Dry version? What I am very interested in knowing is about your reverb. If you are using Hauptwerk 5 or 6 and use their own reverb, can you please tell me what setting you use? Or, is this the wet sample, that will have it's own reverb. Your playing skills are magnificent. Your organ sounds as if we were sitting in a large theatre. The reverb is perfect. I owned a 2/10 Wurlitzer/ Moller hybrid for 22 tears until I lost it in a house fire. Thank you for all your videos
Hi Jim. It’s a great sample set. I bought the dry version and added reverb from within Hauptwerk. It’s a “secret” setting - I played around with the different reverbs for quite a while to find the sound I was looking for. Sorry to hear about you losing your own organ, that must have been devastating.
Great little tune that, Fraser! Only just 'found' your channel on RUclips and been watching with real interest your Hauptwerk project. Wondered whether, on a future video, you could maybe show us briefly the pedal board in action? Thank you.
Fraser, absolutely lovely but please move the camera away from your sub-woofer speaker. It makes the video bounce! Doesn't affect the audio though! More please. Thank you so much.
Why not gift one or two of the stream versions, during lives (maybe in a Christmas or New year live) (between you and me, free stuff always makes people interested 😉😂)
Really loved this! I had it on whilst brushing my teeth this morning and it genuinely had my toe tapping. More of this please!
Good morning from Magnolia, Texas
I don’t listen as often as I would like, but I always enjoy your instruction and performances. Thank You
So fun!!! Really put a big grin on my face. You are fantastic!!!
Wonderful - time to grab the ragtime book and learn this!
What fun that was! 😄
Thanks, Fraser

You can never get tired of the sound of an organ! 😁
Great vid, gotta love it! 😛👍
Cool 🎶🎵🎶 music!
Love it
Fun ! 👍👏😀
Sounds a bit like Scott Joplin's "Maple Leaf Rag" from 1899.🍁
Really amazing !

The books of compositions may be available in the New Year. The initial 100 books are intended to be exclusive copies of the compositions.
Sehr, sehr süß ! ...😁 🤝 🍻

@@FraserGartshore Thank you for answering. I'll keep trying to find that reverb sound setting.
Hope you’ll be tuning in to tonight’s livestream - there’s a mix of Theater and cathedral organ!

Hello i have ordered a singed cd now
verb (used with object), singed, singe·ing.
to burn superficially or slightly; scorch. Well the previous was piping hot I suppose
