Yes, there does seem to be a pretty strong 1-1 correlation between the popularity of comic book films and idiots voting for either nationalists or socialists.
Very nice movie and 2 best actors.my dream is to buy a house in Greece the country of legends and science.the movie shows the beauty of this magnificent country in a simple and natural way
I’ve watched the 3 previous movies so I had to rent & honestly feel this is the best one. Scenery was stunning, “script” was the funniest and there was a sentimental segment that so many can identify.
Im a huge fan of the series and loved the last 3 movies, but was disappointed by this one. The characters started to grate on me and the jokes were very stale and reused from the other movies. The drama and parallels to The Odyssey felt very ham-fisted. Maybe Ill like it more on my second watch.
@@aarongoldberg3316 oh goodness, do watch it again. The scenery is so gorgeous. The joking and banter I personally felt really showed Rob and Steve's years of true friendship the way they could just go on and on. I hope your 2nd view is better :)
Given how much Steve Coogan plays up the trope that he deep down doesn't actually really like Rob Brydon nor find him all that funny, my favorite parts from these movies are when Rob genuinely makes Steve break into laughter. *Steve carefully moves his hurt shoulder up & down* Rob: "You look like a tentative Nazi."
It could be called... ‘A Trip to Venezuela by way of Lichtenstein in the summer of Sugar n Spice and everything Tongue n Cheeky’ ...and I’d still have to see it. 😎
"What would you say you you're most proud of?" "Ah, my 7 BAFTA's" "For me it'd be my children" "Yeah well you haven't got any BAFTA's" "oh, and you *have* got children... which is....interesting" best bring-you-down-to-earth comeback hahahaha 😂
Yes, that was good. I also felt the humbling moment included: Discussion of "Steve Coogan taking on the role of Marvel Comics "Otter Man" 😂 rather late in life"
Whole movie is about these 2 idiots talking nonsense. Nothing funny, nothing valuable, nothing about Greece apart from merely some places and some scenery. Nothing historical other than petty, gringy attempts to make humour. They even refer to Aristotle as Harry Stottle... Scenes of kitchens of funky posh wannabe restaurants and not classic Greek Tavernas. Waste of time!
Loving all of this! Especially the Wonderful Stories of Steve Coogan's Treacherous Adventures out on his Land 😂 and then of course the writing of a Mister Ari-Stotle. The salty imitations are quite funny as are the mixed up references to Greece-from James Joyce as the true author of Ulysses (ha!), and songs of Grease the Musical. Bountiful in merriment, comedy and mouth watering dishes all consumed under the magnificent sea-blue Grecian background these locales truly can not get any better. This particular trip was already edging into melancholy waters and then regrettably takes a steep drop off whilst still holding out for a beautiful endearing ending. There is a somewhat foreboding dream sequence-this I completely relate to. Those are the worst! Sometimes there is that Homesick feeling when waking up in a Hotel that truly has almost no solution other than just to cry and get thru it. Love & Swimming in Bluest Seas does finally make an appearance- as does gorgeous string quartets matched perfectly from scene to scene; in essence the viewer has been given a trip to a place called Pure Bliss! Ode to Ulysses rises to high fashion. 😎💃🌊🐬🎵💝🌴🌸 ~ Sending my Deepest Sympathies to Mr. Coogan for his loss. Very sad. Godspeed.
I am Hellene (Greek in my toung) and i saw this film. The first thing that came to mind when this despise and curse to the modern greek people as well as to their glorious history finished was, how could it be even posible for the blind to judge the light
Ah it was Spain. I love these but terrible marketing as I didn't even know the Spain one existed and only now found out the Greece on exists after the air date.
This part of the trilogy that was supposed to be the most interesting ,was a disaster!Apart from some few hilarious moments and the allegory to father's death connected with Adis ,nothing else really was worth to watch!3000 years of Greek history was exhausted to refugees in Lesbos or dumpsters & same immitations once again. Not even a reference to Byron's death in Mesolongi ,something that really surpised me.Also the attempt to mix Odysseas's homecoming journey with a tourist guide book was at the very least a failure.Still, best of these movies was "trip to Italy".Pity!
It's such a pity that the 'character' Coogan is playing throughout The Trips, is such a distinctly unpleasant, selfish narcissist. A type I find sickeningly egocentric. He's playing a Trump that reads.
Lesbiaon Hotel…? two old friends who are showing their side and totally not understanding the history and its meaning of this Journey of Greece. A totally barbarian way of having these ancient people in their service of culinary servitude and other nonsense. Says more about their humanity of being in this world…an oxymoron to the this ancient mythology. Shame
Yes and yes. It's the combined effect of vicariously going on the trip with them and enjoying the beautiful surrounds, the food, and the wit and wisdom of Rob and Steve.
This just puts a smile on my face. I’d love them to just continue this forever, having conversations at tables around the world.
One of my very favorite (and most underrated) series of movies!
These Trip movies are a blast. I met Coogan as an extra on his film Ideal Home. What an honor!
Everybody waits for the next marvel movie, I wait for next Trip movie.
Have you watched the series? The movie cuts out so many little details
I wait........for both. Yeeeesssssss.
Yes, there does seem to be a pretty strong 1-1 correlation between the popularity of comic book films and idiots voting for either nationalists or socialists.
arda karabocek both
Me too!
I will watch these two go anywhere.
These films are an immense joy. And the two together are just brilliant when it comes to off the cuff. Well done gentlemen
Greece is so beautiful 🇬🇷
Yes she is
Absolutely stunning
Greece in June is a rare diamond!!!

The Swimming contest between these two was also delightful :)
The Trip to Australia would be awesome.
Absolutely
Vat3waeaw46w8tzry nxhasnsnshdfd
And new Zealand, although this would make a rather large title for the film 🤔

The smile on my face became wider when i saw Makis 0:19, he is such a great chef, we were working in the same restaurant once upon a time

“I don’t mind whether Greg or Ian chant, I mean they are both good” 😂😂😂😂
the impressions alone make it worth the wait.
We need them to drive across America.
America now is the deathtrap
No.
Steve and Rob's impersonations are great and funny lol.
they suck in this latest version
0:01-0:15. And it's little moments like these that'll make me miss the trip films, let alone the original trip series, LoL 🤣😂😅
Can't wait for _The Trip to North Korea_
Your profile pic suits this comment perfectly
hahaha ;D thats gonna be epic!
Why is it only NOW that I find out there's actually a "new" fourth part of this brilliant series?!
That looks great thank you 😊😊🇬🇷🇬🇷
"Michael Bublè. Where do you stand on Michael Bublè"
"On his windpipe."
man this movie hit right in the spot.
That Greg or Ian chants joke is so funny and classic!!
Je suis tellement content d'apprendre la sortie de ce 4ième chapitre !!! Merci !! :-)
people got really different taste..looking at this and I'm cringing all the way while all the comments are talking of how great this is.

I loved it, and Steve is getting more good looking as he gets older. Aha!
Steve looks pretty good, although I agree with Rob that Steve does not look like Richard Gere 😂
The Trip to Philippines next please! 😂
In the U.K. It's a TV series (on Sky) rather than a movie. Very popular.
the best moment is when Rob singing "Sailing" - Rod Stewart on the boat
Im Loving Rob Brydons Hair Piece
Last chance for Greek tourism to be saved for the year. Rob Brydon and Steve Coogan do your Sean Connery and save us!!!
Greece is the safest place for vacations at this point. They handled the covid pandemic pretty effectively.
The moment you see your hometown in an international movie production 😮😮😮
somehow it never gets old
PLEASE come to Blu-ray. I can't wait
Same sh*t different country. Still really enjoyable somehow.
I can't tell if I've seen this one already or not.
I'm so excited there's a new one! After the way the last one ended, I thought that was it.
I did not enjoy this one as much. But I was glad to see it existed.
Bond!!! . . . Heyow Breetish am I!?!?!
You're the tickety-tock of Big Ben's clock, sir . . .
These two warm the cockles of me heart like no other...Others?...Either way...Eithers way?
i❤️these 2 together! I just wish i could see it in cinema so it feels im there with them on vaca😎
Pretty sure all the best bits were put into this trailer. Don't really need to watch the film now, cheers
I didn't see any Michael Cane impressions in the trailer.
No they weren't.
I love THE TRIP!!!
Maurice Micklewhite can't wait to see this movie...
SantoriniDave is the best place to plan any Trip To Greece.
She was only sixteen years old!
huh
Anyone know if a DVD release is supposed to follow soon after the VOD release?
Did they ever address how Coogan managed to escape ISIS at the end of the last one?
i guess they will , that was soo fck, how will he talk himself out of that???
That was one of his fucked up dream
I am Hellene (Greek in my toung) and i saw this film. The first thing that came to mind when this despise and curse to the modern greek people as well as to their glorious history finished was, how could it be even posible for the blind to judge the light
They should do American South ! That would be a left turn
Is this a film or television series??
This trailer was only 1/12 of a year old. It was ONLY 1/12 of a year old!
I thought Steve got kidnapped at the end of the last movie?
Great country indeed
Loved the trip
Another one! Huzzah!
To the overture from "The Barber of Seville"!🙂
Rob said it was their fourth outing. I saw the Yorkshire and Italian one. What was the third?
Ah it was Spain.
I love these but terrible marketing as I didn't even know the Spain one existed and only now found out the Greece on exists after the air date.
The Spain one.
This one didn’t come off I think. Even turned it off before the end 🤨
1:44 Where is this beach?
Voidokilia beach, Messinia, Greece
I think Rob Brydon is getting better with age - in every one his hair is a little more fulsome ...
hes plugged in
They look similar to eachother 😮
is it 35 mm ?
Every second word here is "end" or "final" or "last". Clearly written by a young person who thinks life ends at 50
Except it's a reference to the fact that it's the final film in a series.
@@ToastediPod*it´s also a reference
But imagine... steve Coogan and Owen Wilson

still doing this eh
around the greece in 80 days.. without Jackie ..
we rise at daybreak
I liked this trip but missed Michael Cain very much.
The gloomy north was better...how about one in Wales?
Oh goody, Another odyssey into Coogan's insecurity(s).
By the way... all that gourmet bu!!$#it is NOT (thank God) typical Greek food
That's too bad because all that Seafood looks delicious ~
hydra
The two idiots that call the battle of SALAMINA, the battle of salamies!
Same person
Arhithia 🙂
Just put them both in dresses and be done with it already.
It's such a pity that the 'character' Coogan is playing throughout The Trips, is such a distinctly unpleasant, selfish narcissist. A type I find sickeningly egocentric. He's playing a Trump that reads.
The trip on my own leaving boring Brydon at home will be epic , Usa with Owen Wilson would be hilarious , Just saying .
Jesus Christ is Lord and the only way to heaven!
Not for me

I got bored just watching the trailer !!!
completely unintelligible speech
What ?? Are you serious, they both could narrate a dictionary and it would be spoken beautifully.
The most pediculous and bad movie that I seen ....rubbish.
these movies get worse and worse. less scenery, less food. just more blah blah of two guys trying to be witty
Love these guys but the last one was pretty bad.
Is this supposed to be funny? Entertaining?!
Yes and yes. It's the combined effect of vicariously going on the trip with them and enjoying the beautiful surrounds, the food, and the wit and wisdom of Rob and Steve.
Garbage - that is if one respects history.
The last one was pretty awful. I hope this one is more in line with the first two series/movies.
This is the worst movie i have ever seen😂
This was super boring
Their voice imitations was magnificently annoying. Totally unwatchable. Great disappointment. Couldn’t watch it. 👎
Garbage....far too much , I have this many Baftas...bla bla bla.
It's clearly tongue in cheek. If you don't understand that, then it's probably comedy above your level
I find their banter to be hilarious and the 7 Baftas joke is pretty funny. Different strokes i guess...
Super mega boring movie! Not recommended
