@treacheroustimes6936 I mean, if you're going to take the bottom to a grinder and sniff the dust, you should probably avoid it. Otherwise there's zero risk.
HillBilly if you watch some videos of competition rock crawling you will notice the same thing everytime, They use the tries to drive over the rocks and that leaves the transfer case free to go between the rocks, You did a great job , but if you watch this video you will see that everytime you stopped moving forward, your transfer case was stopping you with your tires in the dirt. Put your tires on the rocks and that lifts your vehicle even higher leaving your transfer case and skid plate untouched, and your truck will last longer too. Loved the video guys and boss, I hope Robbie gave you both cups. Lol
I don't understand the whole Stanley cup thing but congratulations on finding two. Life has taught me that making any boss happy often has less to do with making sense and more to do with just doing what it takes to make her smile. The Bronc* is looking good, Hillbilly did a great job handling the trail. Thanks for sharing the adventure!
Original vaccum insulation technology that every other piece of junk brand copied. People are just starting to figure out its the best. The lead thing is just misinformation from morons in Tiktok.
ROBBY A TRUE MAN A TRUE LEADER SERVES THEM ALL! AWESOME JOB ROBBY! THANKS FOR STEPPING UP TO THE HIGHEST STANDARD! WE ALL LOVE HILLBILLY AND YOU ARE THE ONE THAT MAKES HIM OR BRAKES HIM! KEEP SHOWING THE WORLD WHAT A LEADER SHOULD BE! How about some rear steering AND A LS in the bronco You just got to send hillbilly off not let him know about the LS until its all done He will forgive you LOL Tell the boss to do it then he cant get to upset! LOL Keep up the good job Robby the world is watching Set that leader bar HIGH!
Hill Billy's rig did awesome. After so many break downs it sure looks as if you have the bugs worked out. So happy for Hill Billy, and all of you. I was worried about the ram, but it did great, But in the very near future I'd get some protection for the ram built, just because it didn't give an issue this time, doesn't mean that there isn't a rock out there waiting on it! If you guys ever decide to come out east, and wanna go to Windrock, AOP, Golden Mnt, or Harlan KY, Let me know, be happy to show you around!
My older brother had a Superbird back in the early 70s. Dropped us off at high school one day. He passed just after Christmas this year, but that is the day I will remember when I think about my brother.
Congratulations Hillbilly!! You all put in a lot of work and it paid off!! Looks like you all had a great time and had a lot of fun. You all deserved it!!
Skilled driving requires an awareness of exactly where your tires are, and what they are doing. Broncstar's tire footprint dimensions and suspension are completely different than before, so this was literally the first time Hillbilly has driven this vehicle. He did a fantastic job for his maiden voyage. Awesome driver and vehicle! Congratulations!!
That's a great point, he had very little seat time after the build prior to fixing the steering issues, but that was with the old tired original Engine also, so It really is his first time driving this setup and he did great, I'm glad there wasn't any mechanical issues this time and he got to drive it successfully and proud. he deserves it. I know he put a lot of time and working days off just doing the swap not including all the other fabrication stuff. it's a totally different beast than his trekker (which is also super cool) I hope they put lockers in that and freshen up the engine
Absolutely mega vid, so pumped for hill billy and the broncstar getting up chocolate thunder with ease currently watching this from the uk layed up in a hospital bed after a freak accident and lost my right leg, so these vids are keeping me going through these long days ahead of me 🤙
Hats off to you Hillbilly. Congrats to you and the Robby Layton team on conquering chocolate thunder. You guys did an amazing job getting the BroncStar ready and able.
It was so good to see the BroncStar perform incredibly well. Congratulations to Hillbilly, Robby, and Colton. That's a whole lot of money, time, and skill. Take a bow. Also, I saw a Bronco II on the way to work this morning.

Hello from Englandistan, Yes you don't realise the impact you have on people. Long story short I lost my soulmate of 49 years March 2015 And went into a deep depression, a huge black hole, but finding your channel rekindles a tiny flame of my interest in vehicles and repairing them. That was 2 1/2 years ago, and now I am addicted to your good selves Fab rats and of course Matt' off road recovery.. I just want you to lm]now you saved a life. Thank You all. And also like you Robbie I am addicted to quality tools and machines.
Hillbilly you graduated the Bronc Star has earned its name finally. It was amazing to see junk out there worse than what you have. I am glad that you all had a great time. You all should have placed that new fan on it before you left. I loved watching all of it.
I actually got a chance to meet Colton at your shop last week, it was awesome, could not have met a cooler guy. I love your guys content. Robby, Colton needs a key to the shop, I wanted to buy some merch but we were locked out! No worries i was able to take a picture with Colton, Thanks Brother!
As a Canadian, when you say Stanley Cup, I think of something completely different. Congrats Hillbilly! It's not the mountain we conquer, but ourselves.
You hammered heads!!! Hill billy for president!!! Layton did it again, and we love it!! thanks for taking us along.i wonder how many cups you sold!give Robby some commission for all those sales!! Great jobs my brothers! for the lord hath redeemed his servant Jacob amen.bro.devo.
Well done, Well done, Well done. That is so epic to see Hillbilly finally enjoying the BroncStar the way he always wanted to. You are all such an amazing team, and so supportive of each other. Well done getting Demri her mugs, I think you have to question your sanity paying $100 each... I am stoked that you have gotten the SuperBird, I know you are going to make it epic. Remember not to leave it parked outside, time to get to work on it... maybe finish off the Charger first. Thanks for taking us along.
Thanks for showing the first run from outside. The inside footage doesn't do it justice. The combination is fantastic. Congrats on getting it done in time. Keep working on it for a 24hrs invite.
Story time: 84-86 did 2 yr's in Germany US Army, taught myself to ski,, after a yr I took trip to the Swiss Alps skii'd for 3 days, after saying that I got back to the states went to CA to ski Big Bear, I felt then like you feel now after completing that run, thought Big Bear was so awesome but compared to the Swiss Alps it was a speed bump,, like the video though pretty cool watching you guys,, TY guy's for what you do, just say'n!
Great job, HillBilly! The more you rock crawl, the better ya get! Approaching the rocks, keeping in mind how your rig moves is a talent and a science all rolled into one!
You went to hesperia and you weren't very far from me in lonepine Canyon at the historical clyde ranch and you didn't even stop by and visit. ....you hurt my feelings man.......🤪✌
I am impressed at what you guys have done with the Broncstar. It's gone from a total s pile to a semi pro grade s pile and hillbilly drove it like an expert!

So in person to meet you or anyone I feel like a friend from youtube does mean alot because we can see you are real and makes the friendship feel all the realer
Very cool! My dad had a Superbird when he was dating my mom. He loved that car. Mom said he got frustrated when he had to take it to a specialty shop to have the transmission worked on because no one near Coldwater, Michigan could do it. He had to go nearly to Indianapolis for the fix. He also had his police radio in the car and used the car at work. NO ONE was outrunning him!
Right on Congrats to Hillbilly and the Broncstar , you made chocolate thunder twice fine job. Actually CONGRATS TO ALL YOU GUY'S, you guy's did a fine job building The Bronxstar and it is AWESOME. Thanks for taking us along guy's it was great. Can't wait for the next one.
I saw the Ameribrade machine and my mouth started watering. I used to be a custom knife maker many years ago, and that piece of equipment is worth its weight in gold. I would love to get back into knife-making again, but the cost of good equipment is so high. You definitely get what you pay for.
Excellent driving Hillbilly. Robbie i can hardly wait for the bus build. ohh by the way i just watched Trail Mater your wrecker build is coming along amazingly, Rory Mike Shawn and Hector are excelant fabricators
Hey Robby, did you by chance go into that target where you met up for the Stanley cups they might have had more. Well you got two of them, they come in a wide range of colors, and theirs an actress who is got the motherlode of Stanley cups.
when i was younger i lived near the organ mountains outside las cruces NM, there was a guy who had a yard full of super birds, robby would have loved that guys yard. im sure they are loooong gone now, but would love to have one of them.
All the long hours and hard work on the BroncStar was well worth it and it was lovely to see Hillbilly take her for a spin and succeed. I don't know what the cup thing was about but pleased the Boss got hers. The Plymouth, well it has to be an ace car because I live in Plymouth UK, and we don't accept crap 😉
I used to go to Hesperia often because that's how you get to Deep Creek Hot Springs. Very nice volcanic hot spring with multiple temperature natural pools, right on the Pacific Crest Trail.

Canadian here, I'm like, jeeze louise. If you guys are looking for the Stanley Cup, you need to go to the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto!!! And they won't let you take it!!! 😂😂😂edit. Almost halfway through, I realized that getting the Stanley Cup of the HHOF would be much easier!!!😂😂😂
Thank you. You're taking us along with the journey. The boss got her Stanley cup, and Robbie got his car. Hill, Billy did a wonderful job!
Stanley cups have been known for LEAD in the cup!! It’s all cheap china metal and plastic
@@YHWH711 Look into it before you spread stuff. It is a little lead use to seal the cup that has nothing to do with where the liquid goes.
Love the logic... " it is just a little lead"... ha! Just a little flouride in your water also.

Hillbilly did awesome. The Broncstar did great, and looked great going up that hill.
Best thing about the channel is that you guys don't pretend to be experts on anything except painting. Love watching you figure stuff out
Cuz they ain’t 😂
