Neil Peart was great...But, Danny just...he's something more. This is incredible. Absolutely mind-numbing. His left-brain/right brain is off the charts.
It's incredible what regular drummers can do. A truly gifted one with a full range of instruments is mind-blowing. 2 hands and 2 feet all doing different things at different times and working all the different drums and cymbals in, and striking the rim with the stick for the wooden sounds, and being precise, and pounding one while tapping another is a great class in how a master does it. Thanks for reviewing, I subbed.
to me Danny Carey is the Michael Jordan of Drums in terms of power, accuracy, and finesse. many can play like him, but to write like him is a different story. imo;)
Love your reactions! Please consider more TOOL songs, like “The Grudge”, “Parabol / Parabola” (both songs played together), “Descending”, “7empest”, and “Push It” (the Live version off the Salival album is amazing). There are so many other great TOOL songs, but that’ll get you started, lol. Prepare to be taken on a musical journey down the rabbit hole. Much Love!
I am so stoked to see that you are understanding how Tool builds their songs and you have lyrics pulled up too it looks like. Maynard has a way of taking you on a journey throuh his words. and the rest of the band (Danny/ drums, Adam, and Justin) really set the mood for each song perfectly!!!

In my humble opinion, as so many have suggested, there are no bad Tool songs, so starting from the very beginning seems logical. They have collectively evolved musically, temperament, and spiritually through out their whole discography. It is both subtle and dynamic in the progression as only Tool can do. Also, you should use headphones or at least 2 earbuds. The music is produced in a way that moves back and forth left and right, even more than most. Well, you'll see. Then finally, after you do your official video, listen to it again with headphones on for yourself with your eyes closed, and just drink it in! It can be almost like an out of body experience! I'm not kidding, try it! Great reaction! I love how you are genuinely in awe! Dare I say, welcome to the Tool army?

I agree, great band & great sound. Kai, a short time ago, I suggested you react to a young Soprano by the name of Amira Willighagen. If you need her performances again, please advise. There is one in particular, which is... Ave Maria by Gomez at the Canisius Church. ..... Amira was just 11 in this performance, but if video wasn’t there, you would think it was a seasoned professional singing. It’s truly amazing , especially the feelings & emotion she exudes, supported by her unbelievably powerful, Angelic voice.
