I'm one of the poor sods who started the Eaglemoss subscription with TWO total. Well, of course now with FanHome I re-started, and bonus? Have lots of spare parts from Eaglemoss. Still? The light leaks are horrid. The inaccuracies too. I'm accumulating the issues and stages until I have many, then will tackle this project appropriately. I'm toying with using UV resin, and still pondering the lighting situation. What a mess!!
Have subscribed to this with fanhome and have issue 1 stages 1 and 2 on the way these were a stock issue so it’ll be interesting to see if the errors from eaglemess nacelle colour have been corrected,am gonna be doing a video on my build as an amateur builder with some skills to help like minded people and hopefully learn something along the way as well as using various mods you’ve implemented,not sure I could do what you’ve done on the warp nacelles though that is way beyond my skill,fell free to view my pre build video later today featuring my what now seems soon to be replaced AMT enterprise D or as my young son calls it his night light 😂 Make it so…
If you're not used to modelling and lighting kits, I'd honestly recommend you hold off on rewiring modifications like nacelles/neck etc. Just stick to building as it is, at least for now. Granted fixes like not using the led for the saucer vent! (who came up with that!!), definitely fix that..
@@Makeitso2023 In issue 1 it gives you the instruction/ability to light one of the vents! Who came up with that, when neither did ..ever. I just looked back... it’s I.4, don’t do it 😊
@@dansmodeluniverse interesting as I noticed on the AMT model I have the vents are lit but on the ships most recent tv appearance they are not and that’s what I’m going by,obviously when I’m done I’m not gonna shad the saucer section darker just want it to look as close to recent appearance as possible,I did read somewhere that in her final scene back at the fleet museum she was all patched up and clean for display so that’s my aim,got a link for the lifeboat transfers?
