@@klop4228 Even the sprite graphics in VI feel kinda dull and uninspired imo (though admittedly not as bad as V's, and the tilesets in both games are better). Seiken Densetsu 3 is the best from that era, I feel.
@@drcidd8153 i think people are not giving the remake credit. too many purists, i love ff7 and all, but i'm willing to accept change. if i dont like it i always have the ff7 we've all known and love, and mod it for pretty visuals
Its a SNES beat 'em up where you're just sitting cause the music is too sweet to move on. All its missing is a blinking right arrow saying GO over and over.
When you think about it, Cloud does look like Link a bit but more like a futuristic version of him from modern times. They have the same eye colour and similar hair.
Partially, but the Ps1 has 24 audio channels vs the SNES 8, and 512kbytes of sound memory vs the SNES 64kbytes. So its REALLY, REALLY impressive for the SNES to sound as close to the original as it does here. 😲🤩
I want to remake Final Fantasy 7 for SNES. I want to make a Rom Hack of Final Fantasy 6 and turn it into the Final Fantasy 7 SNES version changing the character, monster sprites, the World map and the music to make it look and sound like the PS1 or PC game of Final Fantasy 7 using the Final Fantasy 6 engine and maybe use RPG Maker or Games Factory 2 tools. Coding is tricky for me. I have played the unofficial Final Fantasy 7 for NES and while I did enjoy it, my issue is the music is too high pitched for my ears and the sprites are way too pixelated. I would prefer seeing an unofficial Final Fantasy 7 for SNES. I would have to pay legal fees to Square Enix to avoid getting into copyright trouble and get a team of people at some business office to help me work on it including making it work well since I don't want to do it by myself unless it's my own Critter Doodles or Castlelot Siege video game. But who knows, I'll have to do the work to make it happen.
@@crosswalkX It could be a fan project and you can automate a lot of the work. The idea is there though and I commend you for that. You should seriously think about becoming a designer or producer or something, there is a place for everyone.
本当にやりたい FF7 リメイク はこれだった。
Nugem様の動画を観て SFC版 FF7 を色々想像して楽しんでいます!😆
Meanwhile, in an alternate timeline…
ness real
This reminded me that originally FFVII WAS gonna be a SNES game but the team was sent to help complete Chrono Trigger so the project was pushed back
Cloud is not moving because he’s too busy listening to this great song, you can’t blame him.
Nice intro animation. XD That was a fun little touch.
The opening animation looks cool! Would have loved to see FF7 SNES-ified
This, but I want every FF game remade as an FF6 SNES port.
@@OwentheKingofDudes Even 4 and 5, tbh. I have my issues with FF6, but the graphics and sound are definitely not part of them

@@OwentheKingofDudes Pretty sure this is possible if the MSU-1 chip is involved in an FF6 hack
This is the true Final Fantasy VII game. In Super Nintendo style.
Will there ever be a SNES version? There is a NES version.
Someone would have to get their hands on vi's code to make it happen
I personally want to see ff7 done in this style now! 💖
Reminds me of a cross between FFVI and SaGa Frontier. 😂
Theres a bootleg version out there somewhere..
@@MrZombs123 that's only for NES
Would be better than the remake square enix gave us.

Man i really want a sprite version of ff7 now. I love the visuals used in this video.
For a minute I thought this was a rom hack. Very well made
I like this, i can listen the similarities from the PS1.
I'm crying in 16bit
I wanna play this game like this, ill definitely pay. Wish i could.
This gives me Final Fantasy Record Keeper flash backs

that cloud sprite flip hah

I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS
Nice Animation.
Ah, that feeling when the controls freeze just after the intro when you're about to start playing the game, but the music is still playing
Really impressive work both music wise and sprite visual wise
True love from a fan 🙌
Damn that intro was cool as hell
someone upped their game, i enjoyed this one a lot. (yes I'm still a year behind on my subs.... IM WORKING ON IT lol)
When you think about it, Cloud does look like Link a bit but more like a futuristic version of him from modern times. They have the same eye colour and similar hair.
Eh I think he looks more like Chrono, Arc or Locke
Just imagine how a mix between FF7 and Zelda OoT would look like, definitely would have been the best RPG in history
this is an awesome remix
THIS IS SO GOOD I LOVE YOUR SNES STYLE SONGS 😭😭😭❤
Theres a rumour circulating that they're planning on remaking this for the ps1 remake and will drop sometime in 2027 😱😱
Splendid work on the animation, and the music is very nice! Good job!
This should have been what the "remake" looked like.
If Final Fantasy stayed with Nintendo Cloud and Sephiroth might've been added back in Melee or even 64.
This ALMOST happened guys...👀
Ficou incrível ❤
Wow this very well could have came out on SNES but I'm happy with the version we received on ps1
did you make the intro with the shinra building / train yourself? really awesome
No, this is from 'Final Fantasy : Record Keeper'.
More details in the video description.
PS1's sound system is probably just a beefed up Snes's one. This game's songs in particular sound like they have been made for Snes and then ported.

Nugem, vc pode trazer as músicas do Final Fantasy XV? É um dos meus Final Fantasy favoritos
Quem sabe um dia desses aparece uma do XV por aí?

is this retro-remake actually being work on ?...also....that Jasmine person flooding posts down there 3 months ago :S
No, this is just the remix with a 'Final Fantasy : Record Keeper' footage.

Where did you get those Midgar City and train sprites? I'm working on a FFVII compilation Remake, and I need some of these.
FINAL FANTASY : RECORD KEEPER.
@@Nugem I've searched in Spriters resource, but, I didn't found the train, the trainstation, Biggs Wedge, Jessie and Midgar City. :(
Sad that this got more views than the source you took the remix from.
Yeah...at least I can reach more people to know such amazing works/artists with this series. Would be a shame to let it go under the radar.
