Truly one of my favorite tracks from the whole HTTYD trilogy. I love how Kāru manages to capture the magic of the score itself, while still improving it. Absolutely love this!
My god I love this movie. It's so small scale and not even that original of a story... but it just goes to show that you don't need to go bombastic or reinvent the wheel everytime in order to create something sincere and beautiful.
@@ARandomSpace i think that would be super cool but one suggestion; what if it was an alternate universe where hiccup KILLS toothless in the beginning and that causes a butterfly effect of bad events surrounding him and the village and it like...ended with them all dying from that big dragon bc toothless wasn't there to save him....
@@themudkip5295 That... Is honestly so weird to think about. Hiccup's one small decision to not kill Toothless is what led to this masterpiece of a series. 😳
Sometimes, it isn't the big stories, or the epic and deadly adventures that make a story so great. The things which make a story truly memorable and beautiful are the details. HTTYD had such a great attention to detail. The way Toothless behaved based on cats and other animals to make him likable and fun, the relationships between characters were really well developed, the music was always beautiful throughout, and the animation was amazing (and paid attention to so many little details that are easy to miss but make the world feel so real).
@@themudkip5295 Well... the writers of How To Train Your Dragon made this same question when making HTTYD 3... and there it is: Grimmel, the main villain of the HTTYD III, and he is what Hiccup would have become if he had kill Toothless instead of training him.
Literally the best musical score out of the entire trilogy. The music fits in soo perfectly with the scene. I swear music from animated films are soo damn underrated fr. Once again masterful job my man👍👍👍.
I absolutely love how this scene has zero dialogue. The music speaks for itself and you made this incredibly well. I'm a little late but better late than never, outstanding work!
This is making me want to cry. This movie and franchise was one of the rarest of it's kind. The type of dream i've always wanted as a dragon obsessed kid. When it ended by the third movie i could hardly accept that my childhood was over. Listening to the original music even in this beautifully crafted form makes me relive the wonder i felt when i first watched this movie. Thank you for this.
oh I completely understand you. I remember refusing to leave the movie theater when the third movie ended and being in tears, wondering if a part of me would die there. I'm a bit sorry about the situation, but luckily I still have some of that spark in me.
I have a lot lot of the soundtracks on my channel and I will be putting up more soon and in the future. It's my favorite franchise, you can check them out if you want, it would make me Happy. :D
Just had one of your videos in my recommendation, dude thank you SO MUCH for doing this track justice, it's my favorite and the one I listen to on repeat since I was 10 💕💖💘
You're not the only person who listened the tune of never surrender too but I think it was amazingly awesome with the sound it sounded like heavenly angel seriously I'm not joking dude
Did you get copyright claim? I got 2 copyright claims because of using this. Bruh

Hi! Do note that copyright ID claims are different from copyright strikes. Here is a good article into it 😁 support.google.com/youtube/answer/7002106?hl=en Note that this video is also claimed but is identified as a cover song. Though, I do not have control over content ID claims from third parties for anyone using my cover. 😁

@@Oddinary6669 Yes this is correct, because although you used my cover, the original composition is written by someone else, and since I haven't fully distributed my cover yet, content ID claims will always display the original. Hope it clears up things 😁
The characters were one thing, Toothless was definitely one of the main things, but the music was truly the being that brought this trilogy to life.
Really
The fact that people are still posting about this movie proves how powerful this film/ost was.

I once thought of making a fanfic titled "How to Kill a Dragon" where Hiccup's descendants hear about dragons and eventually fight Toothless.

It's a testament to the scores that people still make such beautiful covers of them all these years later.
Saw "karu" popup in notifs and clicked without hesitation

Hiccup was so determined for Toothless to touch his hand, that he held it up for nearly 3 minutes, as Toothless just... stands there... thinking...
One of the sweetest scenes ever in animated history, brought to more than life with an amazing score
Karu on his way to improve upon perfection!
When that choir hit I got chills
You're not the only one my friend
This should be remembered for generations! Hopefully
Yes you are right this the thing I remember for seven years

Hey. I love your music! Can I use it as background music and when I'm ready monetize the videos with your music as background music?
Can you do the Dr. Strange theme?? I've heard other versions, but I really want to see if you can make your own different version of it.
