I typed in master tile setter I watched every video under yours being the first no offense, just a habit. Being in this trade for over 20yrs myself this was the most accuracy to a professional install compared to the videos followed by yours. You lack explanation of the process but I don’t care I already know that but quick view of the process shows me you know more about this industry than the amateur that got 7 million views trying to teach homeowners how to DIY a project meant for skilled individuals like yourself and your crew. I respect you for that and hope for your success in this industry!! Gracias muchacho
I'm trying to do 1 yr of as a assistant after that I'm become a installer . i cant wait!
Shout out to all in the trade from Kansas. Mud work is a lost art you made it look EZ.
Salute to you setter 💯, one has to be proficient with a hawk & trowel FIRST, then he can become a tilesetter ✌️
This guy actually know what his talking about .
Thanks bro
Yessssss sir cement is the best way to go 💯 that’s how my dad does it and I help him. We are also self employed I started helping him when I was 13 now I’m 18

Can you make good money as tile helper?
Learn to set tile easy $20 to $30 hr
As a helper you put in some hard dues! Find a company that is willing to teach. Also good helpers in EVERY trade are hard to find and hard to let go of so get yourself 3 years in writing. Sorry if you ain't go TV it in three time to move on
5 years as a helper? We are qualified in 3 here and we screed our bathrooms and most go to ceiling height and Is way more involved than any American job.
2 and a half in sweden
5 years sounds crazy tho
@@metaxasgr5138 In Australia it's 4 years. 3 years of technical school and one year post qualification before you're eligible for a contractor licence. Over here we need to screed, render, brick lay and do paving to get passed off. More goes into a bathroom than the American ones
Thats wrong, you can make it level even if you put wonderbord on the wall if the wall its not level ,make it level but you have to put thin-set behind of every single piece and in order to do that you need more expertice on it
Are you saying to add thin set as needed to each individual tile regardless of the framing to make it plum and level?
DJ Aventurero Mps MEDIA sounds gay
I level everything and put one size notch trowel
You can plum hardi board but Kath and mud is best for certain. I learned to use a hawk and trowel at age 9. I could float a jamb by 15.
Shrtly after that the army of " time setters " from South of the border began to flood in and ruined the industry
We are having the same problem with Asian and Indian tilers here. They group up, under cut the small business contractors and many don't have the correct training or speak the language.
Ugh. Floating walls instead of using drywall shims and a planer to make your framing plum for kerdi board? Gross. Also, where's your 24 pack of beer?
