I just ordered the book because I trust my beloved Sheick Dr Umar Farouk. I leaned a lot from the Sheick and he’s so awesome human being. May Allah elevate him and make him his wali and all of us Aameen..
No one, rather no group of people on earth applies this methodology except one group which is in Al Sham Damascus. Our great prophet Muhammad peace and blessings be upon him said: "If the people of Al Sham perish, no good in you". and said: "Verily, faith - when troubles (of the last days) falls - is in Al Sham". and said: "Do yo know what Allah the Almighty says? He says: "Oh Sham, you are the elite of my countries, to you, I drive my elite of my servants".
I couldn't finish because of the music. I'm not against music. I just can't concentrate on the words with the music. The Cheikh wouldn't talk next to a radio or with a DJ when giving his lecture so why the music? Do you think we'll get more insight? Feel more elevated? No and no. It's just distracting and annoying. Al-Ghazali and Rumi is quite moderate understanding of Islam, don't go to Ibnul Arabi without knowledge, some people become deviate after they understand his word wrongly. Faith is in all part your heart, your tongue and your actuon. Practice makes perfect.

The last part of the autobiography in Martin ling's book about the prophet saw is wrong . You can just look up 'errors in Martin lings autobiography ' pdf on google . Yasir Qadhi has also mentioned this in his video ' best books on seerah of the prophet saw ' .
I'm talkin about the part where it is mentioned that he ( pbuh) "FALLS" FOR ZAINAB RA . that never happened in history . Full on fabricated . Do look up errors in the book before reading it . Jazakallah khair
why do we need faith before action? my answer is, here it is: the thing cannot be done without coming from the brain. Everything that people or animals or other living beings do, whether it's an insects, is thought about before doing it. like an Engineer before doing his project, he will think it first and then do it on the table and draw a drawing. After the drawing is finished, what is in the drawing will be done in actuality. that's it. "in faith" if faith without action is definitely dead.
