Thank you for mentioning that moto morini is no longer an Italian company. Almost all reviewers miss it - perhaps deliberately?
It's owned by a Chinese group.
The engine is sourced from CF moto, which is Chinese. The bikes are actually manufactured at their Italian plant.
Ultimately it’s a Chinese product only. Why to buy these n give china the profit. Plus quality won’t be as good as Japanese.
…what’s Triumph then - English? Or Harley - American? Or KTM - Austrian? Shareholders / Owners are often Chinese (as they own half of the World and 90% of the US) or PEs, manufactured those are in Thailand and China, etc.. so what makes MM less Italian for you?
@@fragu123 Thanks for responding. Valid point you make. My argument is not the nationality of the company but it's more on how reviewers by and large selectively miss out details when they say "Italian company." Buying brand rights of a shut operations old Italian company doesn't make your product line italian. I honestly could care less where bikes are made as long as they are fun to ride. My point is people pushing the concept of "Italian heritage" to something that's not related. Same argument goes for current MG vehicles. Brilliant in their own way but would you push them as "British company/heritage/design"?

@Strell Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the windshield hand adjustable? There's a lever/thumb screw on the inside that you need to turn to loosen it and then slide it up or down?

I think, you could adjust the visor without allen key; twist the knob (kind of mixer grinder switch) placed behind the visor; had seen it in an European review.
Yeah I tried that. But its tightened for Indian versions.

@@gokulkrishm51 naah .... it's not going to make a huge difference anyway .. there r tons of legendary bikes that never had slipper clutch .. those r still legendary ... Anyway for the price it's very reasonable to expect sp clutch ..
1. I'd consider Vstrom to be a good road tourer. X cape is for fast off roads. So basically it's a choice.
2. I have no answer for that 😁. Even I expected it for this segment.

Benelli is an Italian brand but the entire bike is made in China. Moto Morini is a Italian brand owned by a chinese company but the bikes are made in Italy. The engine is the only component imported from China to Italy for assembling

Hehe. IMO, this is a purpose motorcycle. The suspension is a piece of art. And Dynamics is good. And yes it lacks lot of electronics features. But promises a good bike.

I don't trust adeshwar auto, even thinks suspicious, they don't even have their website. And I won't/never/buy/prefer any Chinese company over indian company.

It's actually assembled in Italy. The engine is made in China but exported to Italy and assembled on the bike there. The company doesn't make any of these bikes in China.

Almost all motorcycles sold in India have some components sourced from China.
It could be as simple as a clutch cable or a fuel gasket.

They are sold in India legally and are providing employment to people. They have every right to do business in India. You don't want to buy that's on you but don't shove your narrative down the throats of others. Reviewers must and will continue to do their job of reviewing bikes regardless of where they come from
