Delivered a parcel to lee today and saw this around the corner so I was nosey and asked what he was doing as I noticed a camera too and he pointed me to his channel, great content keep it up!
Ha! you looked totally disappointed yet extremely happy that the wing was that easy lol dont forget to give that bracket and the mounting some love. Bolt on wings what a blessing!
Only just discovered your channel and have to compliment you on the production, it's really good and I enjoy the content. One tip I can offer which I used for varius rusty bits in the past is soaking stuff in a vinegar bath, can save some money as it's cheaper than always using Kurust or Hydrate 80 (sometines these are a must). What you have convinced me of is that I made the right choice of project, do a modern TF or a classic; the access on the F/TF is just so awful, I am glad I went classic. Would it have been easier, I wonder, to have dropped the engine right out before doing all the work you did?
TF wings seem to be more susceptible to the rot than the MGF. I found finding a decent replacement wing ' in colour' was an easier option and not too expensive. Good stuff 👍🏼
Awesome vid and at last no snapped bolts , maybe your luck is changing :-) Future giveaways, plastic polish for headlights and rear screen , remote boot opening kit ( if it's cheap enough)

Cheers Gary 😆 and great suggestions 👍
I dread what lurks behind the wings on mine...
Are the bolts 8mm and 10mm or the size of the spanner 8 or 10mm??!
The bolts take an 8mm/10mm socket/spanner.
