Oh boy here's someone trying to stir something up out of nowhere. Have you ever considered that not everyone is watching AEW before making ignorant takes like this? Also how can I support a 51 old man breaking his leg for a completely forgetable spot and do you really think people are not concerned for him? These marks are so out of it it's INSANE. That's not how I remember it. I think the main criticism was if it was worth AEW risking such a high risk spot with a 50 year old especially given his past injuries.
Incase you forgot edge had to quit for 10 years over a neck injury that was believed to paralyze him if he took 1 more bad bump. I understand he’s in better condition now but Under no circumstances should someone with that kind of injury history should take a risk like that period. God forbid the spot went south and edge’s injury was life altering or worse life ending that’s the backlash people had it’s because a legend of the industry shouldn’t risk their lives for a pop. Christian is a perfect example of how to work through your injuries and come back to guide the new talent and redefine yourself and legacy in the process. Edge is doing the same dumb shit that got him hurt he more than anyone should explain the risks with these spots but he chooses to instead encourage the danger which will only make more tragic tales like edge.

5vs5 Elimination mathces was so boring that the Survivor Series PPV was close to being abandoned. They almost stopped doing the show cause no one gave a shit about it. I wasnt invested in this years war games matches (poor womens booking, dont give a fuck about the bloodline), but War Games made it still alot better than the Elimination matches ever was to me.
