So is there a separate damage cap for crits? Based on the mastery trees i can see there isnt just one hard cap for everything, since you have nodes for normal attacks, skills and SBAs, but if the same thing applies to crits then doesnt that sorta invalidate crit damage up sigils on builds with 100% crit chance sunce i imagine that could easily hit said cap?
Once you max out 4 Dmg Cap sigils, it'll get you to level 60, so you'll need the last 5 from the final weapon. Or if you're extra lucky and get Dmg cap from a sigil +. That leaves you with roughly 8 sigil slots to play with.
I am so confused by DMG cap, I see people doing WAY MORE dmg with normal attacks thai do with DMG cap at 66/65 and with 20% normal dmg cap up and with Supp dmg from sigils and skills. I even tested Roll the Dice and RtD does NOT increase my dmg and it caps lower then without it, seriously, tested on Eugen, Ferry and Rackam. In theory eventually every single Character X should do the exact same DMG on a Normal Attack assuming : Dmg Cal 65/65 Supp dmg 30/30 Crit dmg 30/30 ( or is it 45/45? ) War Elemental Het I see way crazy numbers so either folks be cheating or there is more to all of this than we think we know.
Have you find the answer ? I've tried: Dmg Cap 65/65 Supp dmg 30/30 On Charlotte - max 6kk / 30 s RUclips showcases show like 40kk of damage / 30 s with basically extra War Elemental, I doubt it adds this much.
Yeah it's boring but it's all we've got. 4-5 damage cap, tyranny, stamina. Maybe an attack depending on who you're playing and if you have Terminus. So many Sigils are more fun.

So critical dmg is exclude in dmg cap ?
The main build of every class, requires damage cap, and like 3-5 of them, so you're basically only have like 3 sigil slots for other stuff

So if you stack nothing but Damage Cap boosts you'll never hit the cap because you're not boosting your base damage?
Correct you need to find the ballance. Hopefully they put a better QOL so we can tell without doing training mode.

I just slap cooldown reduction on everyone that hit dmg capped 😂

Its hard to notice the first time, im trying it out in practice with many hits and finally understand
It's most noticeable at the start of the hit when the numbers show up. After that it's very hard to see
It doesn't feel right to stack those damage cap sigils although it is the best you can do...

Gotta say. This is rather dumb system but now i know that i've been at my damage cap for a long long time with Sandalphon.
