I love this! It all makes sense now! 😂 When I first adopted my pekengnese I got a boar brush and it did nothing but make knots 😂😂😮 I tried the short slicker brush... no it didn't work finally I found that a plastic comb with one end with bigger teeth and the other side smaller teeth works perfect. However after watching this I will try the longer bristle brush. Now my ragdoll cat was covered in terrible mats and it took forever get rid of them but I have been successfully keeping him mat free from using a metal comb and then a short bristle brush and he actually allows me 😂😅 And after watching this I now know that the boar brush is perfect for my tuxedo cat. I'm loving your videos! I found you through your trimming my dog nails video... still a struggle but I'm getting them done because they were really bad! ❤
Hi sorry I missed the live. Great video . I haven't a clue on what brush to use on my dogs, different breeds. This video is so useful and I can rewatch it. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and time. Thankyou from Ireland ❤
Love all the specifics about the brushes and their purpose. I’m hoping to find very small slicker brush and pin brush for my Yorkies. Need very small. Thank you for all the details!!!
Sorry I missed the Live Amy but I watched the video and, once again, I've learned some great tips from you! I love learning all about the different brushes so next time, I'll know what to get for my Cocker Spaniel! I already got the Arturo Bamboo Double-Sided Slicker brush and I really love it and my boy seems to be comfortable with it as well! So, thank you so much for this very informative video! You are truly a great and caring teacher! 🐶🐾
I have a Jack Russell Terrier/Siberian Husky Mix. She's 2 years old and SHEDS LIKE CRAZY!! PLEASE!!! What brushes, combs, and shampoos and conditioners should I get to help come come to eliminating shedding?? And how often bathing? Once per month? I greatly appreciate your HELP!!! Thank you!
Maybe you've said it somewhere and I have not seen it but what would your ideal brush be for a toy red tri american shepherd with very sensitive skin? thank you.
Are there any specific brands that are a good choice for home? I have a Chorkie or she could be a Yorkipoo.and not really sure what to use on her. The small plastic slicker brush I have does pull out some fluffy undercoat when I use it, but I'm not sure that is the best thing to use. Wish we could post photos LOL!
I have 2 sisters from the same litter. They are silky cockers. Cocker spaniel and Maltese. One has smooth silky coat and the other one is curly. What type of brush would be best? I have a pin brush with shorter nylon bristles and I have a long slicker brush.
I have a job interview tomorrow as a bather groomer trainee. I own an Aussue and MAS and do all of my own bathing and grooming at home. What advice if any do you have for someone just starting out?
......... I have a Chinese crested. She gets blackheads. I try to bath her every 2 weeks and put coconut oil on her skin. Do you have a "wash cloth" recommendation for cleaning pores?
I am relieved that by pure chance I have the right slicker brush for my Lhasa Apso.❤

I have a Newfoundland and have a longer slicker brush. Should I purchase a short bristle slicker?
Longer bristles are great for the Newfie coat.
I loved the stool riding video

Start brushing with the long bristle slicker brush to remove dead hair and follow up with the pin brush.

Get really good at bathing brushing and drying before moving into clipper and scissor work. Master prepping all coat types.

Hello from Ontario Canada
Hello you!!! 😊
i feel like back in school 😊
……I just bought the small aretero for my Yorkies. Is that appropriate?
Yes🙌
Amie, there are some groomers that are very rude about especially golden doodles that I saw on RUclips hurt my feelings since I had to
RUclips is a huge place. You have to realize there are so many people in this world and you have to have thicker skin and stick to your values.💖
👍🏻👍🏻

Hey there!

Hello everyone
I can honestly say the majority of groomers have some crazy to them 😂
as do most people who watch youtube videos.
@@QtheminiQ good point . If someone tells me they are not crazy I am very skeptical 😂
Thanks, but shorter and more concise would help. Too long of a video.
