Nice video. Was at the gala on the Friday and thought Lady of Legend looked gorgeous. Went over to the driver and said what a beautiful loco she was, he replied "Ah but she's a pig to drive! "
Thank you! Oh yeah she's the reason I decided to go in the end. What a stunner! Yeah I can imagine she'd be quite difficult to drive, especially given how old the design is! I think it dates back to 1902?
@@TheGreatWesternGuy I think you're right, and they were all withdrawn by 1953. Most memorable ride I had on the GCR was a few years ago behind City of Truro -an elegant Edwardian loco of similar era; the power up the bank from Leicester North was amazing, as was the sound!
