Man o' man a sticking slave cylinder yes sir the danger ranger is good for another 20 yrs. of service, heck yeah awesome learning video thanks for sharing 👍
Great content video. Like the detail in breaking down how to do this task. Just one thing…you don’t want that sorry old ford messing the shop up. As a friend and buddy I’m always willing to help my brother out….let me just take the nasty old ford off your hands 🙌 😜😇🤣
Just got a 94 2wd 5speed 2.3 single cab 7’ bed ranger from an old fried. His grandpa got it new in 94 and I got it for 500 bucks w/ 120,000 miles … Just put a thousand miles on it then had notice grind into reverse and pedal feelin little funky one day … resivoir was low on fluid guessing its another ranger failed slave cylinder. Bout cried when I realized ford put it inside the bell housing on the input shaft 😂. But after seeing your video I’m less upset about it. Thankful I got a 2 post also and the right tools to make it easy. Appreciate you brotherrrrrrr🤘🏻🇺🇸
@@Boostismyfriend i have a 2010 ford ranger 2.3 litre xlt automatic smells like burnt rubber last couple days when I drive, going to take it in maybe clutch, any advice is appreciated
@@Boostismyfriend no slip, no weird noises, if I have driven it for a while there is a burnt rubber smell when I stand outside the truck behind the drivers side door between the cab and the bed, all tires look good. Thanks for your responses. I don't see anything leaking, besides small amount of water from running air conditioning which is normal. Got 72,000 miles on it
I have the same truck and mine is a 5 speed. My clutch all of the sudden got spongy and I had to give it more gas to get it to move into gears. Any idea what this might be before I take it to the shop and get tapped on the work
@@Boostismyfriend I bought the little truck at an auction and they said it had a new clutch and pressure plate put in it after a weeks I noticed a vibration in the floorboard where the shifter was and some noise so I pulled it apart and found that indeed they did put a new clutch and pressure plate in it but they did not replace the pilot bearing. Thanks for your video it was helpful just needed a refresher been a long time since I pulled a clutch thanks.
This Man wastes no time. Thanks for the tutorial.
I appreciate you

Do you need to drain transmission fluid first?
If your careful on a lift you dont have to, but if your on the ground i would recommend it
Thx❤
👍
Took me a little longer than 10 minutes.
