Yeah very much how I play it but I brought in the city album in 1977 and still to this day don’t know what effect we’re used on wellers rickenbacker 330 or amp in studio?but for me it the treble really rings out during every track on it 🤷‍♂️vic coppersmith said as I once read in a guitar magazine about something he added but I can’t remember what 🤷‍♂️

I think Vic C-H put corrugated metal sheets around the amp to boost the treble sound during the studio recordings. That’s why it’s tricky to capture the sound precisely - I’ve certainly tried but never had a go at that!

@@mattmod7603 yeah that was sound effects album but in the city album has always baffled me it rings out more probably doubled track guitar with loads of sustain
