    Hello Everyone
We are Bert and Cindy. We are a Christian family with 4 children and are living a simple life on just under 1 acre in South Western Ontario, Canada.
Bert works full time outside of the home and Cindy homeschools our 4 children.
Together we are homesteading our little piece of property by incorporating back to Eden permaculture gardening; raising smaller livestock from poultry/rabbits to larger animals like KuneKune pigs and Nigerian Dwarf Goats.
Our goal is to become more and more self-sufficient and give our family a secure place to call home.
Please subscribe and join us as we learn on this journey.

You guys did a great job on the unboxing. I am taking notes because I will have goats, someday. 😊

Lol, thank you, its a little different form of video but maybe it will give us practice to eventually do a live. We are super excited about finally having our own source of milk.

We have Nigerians. For the first 4 months I was the only one who could milk them because my husbands hands were too big. For the last 2 months we have used a Caprine Supply milker. When I had kidney stones my husbamd was able to take over. Its a definite help! So glad you got one. I do recommend learning to hand milk also in case you have no power or the machine malfunctions. 😊

Very good idea! I do want to learn to milk by hand; it would be a good skill to have, although I'm definitely thankful to have the machine to make the day-to-day task easier. Thanks so much for the comment and for watching! ☺️

Thanks for watching! I am excited to use it and be able to give a more experience-based review in a few weeks. ☺️. We feed our goats a goat ration from our local feed store and hay.

Yeah my hands also are too big for tiny goat milking 😅

Hopefully we will get to try it out this coming weekend. The babies will be 5 weeks old so they can start sharing momma. I am told that I need to build a milking stand so I guess maybe I am the hold up 😊
