I have the same truck, im so torn on what i want to do it. I prefer the look of 6" lift. I agree im concerned about getting sick of climbing up there everyday! If you get chance, can you measure from the ground to the bottom of the body right at the driver door? No one ever shows a measurement from there, the Black widow trucks are about 23 in. So I'm just curious what the 4" lift is compared to the 6" Thanks
Thank you Terry, it’s Anthony. RUclips froze my ability to comment. Haha, So I had to borrow my sister phone! I need to go through your videos. Did you notice a big difference in ride quality?
Of course I could have done 35s. But it all depends on the offset of the wheel on how much that wheel pokes out with negative offset which will determine how much trimming and cutting up of the truck that would need to be done. I'm good with 34x11.5x20 -18 offset. I had very minimal trimming on just the bottom of the valance.
Great looking truck! I just got a 23 F-150, will be putting a 4 inch BDS lift with 20x10 -12 offset wrapped in Nitto Ridge Grapplers 33 12.50"s. Just wondering how much trimming will have to be done and wondering if 35's will work without bumper trimming? Any insight to this question?
@@terrygermano4555 Terry, I have a dumb question, why is it called a 4"lift if it's using a 3" high block? Sorry, I'm buying an F150 and am learning about these kits. BTW your tuck looks really sharp! Thanks!
@loloforge2841 The rear of these trucks are set higher than the front stock. So it gives the truck a rake. So remember that the rear is about 2 inches higher for towing and bed capacity squat. When you raise the front 4 inches you don't have to go as high in the rear. You want the truck to look level.
@@terrygermano4555 roger that! Thank you. I just saw one of your videos and heard you say that you totaled the white one! OMG. Hope you are ok and sorry to hear that. That white truck was mean looking! What a stance. I assume the grey is identical as it looks like it.
Terry I see that BDS has different versions of 4” lift kits, so which one did you get? I think one of them has the reservoir up front but I’m not sure if you can notice a difference (comfort wise) between that one and the one that doesn’t have the reservoir on the coil over. Thx
Do you know what your total height is with this setup? To the top of the antenna (boxes) on the roof? I got a 2024 and I’m trying to make sure I can fit in a 7’2” parking garage. Measured literally every beam in the place and they’re all right at 7’3”. My truck measures right at 78.5” or 6’6.5”, so I’m thinking I’m going to be right at or a hair under 7’0” after the 4” lift and 305/70r18’s which are about 34.5” mounted. You will be able to put 35s but it will depend on your wheel offset and you will have alot more trimming to do. I'm running 34s 11.5 wide tires. 20x10 -18 offset. Which is a 295/60/20 tire. I bought the kit from the shop that installed it. BDS only uses Authorized Dealers for install for the warranty. The place is Dedona Enterprises in Yonkers, NY. He's been doing lifts on Trucks and Jeeps for 42 years in Business. Not sure where you live?
With this set up you have did u have to cut anything ? I love the 35” look or whatever but I honestly prefer not to cut and then again I think 6inch is jus way to much for me I feel like the 4inch is the enough I jus want the beefiest look if that makes sense like I love your set up !!
35s is pushing with this kit. You might have to cut more than you want. The wheel/tire all goes off what offset wheel you pick. That will determine how much cutting the truck up you will have to do. I wanted 35s too but I also told the shop I didn't want to cut the truck up. So he gave me the best setup with very minimal trimming. I'm on 34s with my setup and it's a big tire bro. @@DenoTheTruth the 4 inch is the best everyday lift in my opinion. I fit in the cars wash if that helps you. It's does fit in the car parking garages . But I think you should pull the trigger on the 4 inch kit with 3 inch rear blocks!!! I love it!
Hello, I have a simple question, will the truck fit into a standard garage door with the 4 inch lift and tires? It looks close but might fit?? Let me know if you could, thank you!
I don't believe it will fit. I know I'm just under 7 feet because that's the touchless car wash limit and a parking garage I was able to fit that was 7feet height limit. My house garage I'd probably hit the door or the garage opener motor on ceiling.
Finally someone mentions the 3” block! Thanks!
That’s the perfect setup, looks great
I got a -19 with 2” lvl kit up front and 1” block in the rear and it doesn’t rub . Tires are nitto ridge grappler in a 275/55/20
Thanks for the info. Wasn’t sure what size blocks to order for back.
No problem!!! Update me when you get your lift kit installed!!
Sweet ride bro!

you can fit 33x12.50x20 with a 2" level...... shouldve been able to get 35x12.50x20's in this setup.... pretty sure the 6" bds allows 35/37x12.50x20's

With the 6 inch did you have to cut anything with the dif to put the lift on

20x10 -18 offset wheels. Tires 295/60/20 11.5 inch wide

@TheNet I figured it was because of the lift being higher off the ground with less aerodynamics at high speed.

The kit requires cutting the frame to install brackets to lower the diff.

What was the labor cost to install the lift ?
Cost me around 4k for lift and install
I have same tires and truck with a level and they fit perfect. -18 also But I cut that ugly rubber front air dam off
