Hi Attilio, my favorite for nightscapes is my Samyang 14mm, for landscapes is a very old Nikkor 20mm f/2.8 AFD.... but after having seen your videos where you stitch photos taken with your 50mm maybe I will start to experiment too.... many compliments for your videos, they are simple yet very exaustive, and your narrative style is defenitely very italian... (it's obviously a compliment as I am italian too...)
May the 100 turn into 1000! Congrats, Attilio! Your simple, endearing way of explaining complex things and the friendly tone of your voice help thousands of people like us who are interested in photography. Thank you very much for being there! Oh...and I watch every video of yours the moment I get a notification. It is always a pleasure watching your videos, every single one of it 🙏. A big YES for astrophotography videos.
Congratulations on 100 videos Attilio, I discovered you 3 days ago and am now looking forward to video number 9, so on this basis I only have 2 weeks worth of material to watch, I hope you are out on the beach making more as I type😁 As well as inspiring me once again, I have learned something about your work and why I love long exposure. Too often enthusiast photographers are guided by the expert institutions in photography who will change with the fashion - the key for me is keep doing and improving your own art, never mind what others think as long as you love it. Thank you once again for sharing so much.
Time to celebrate!! Congratulations on 100th video. I watched most of them, some quite a few times. :) And you are right that LE photography is addictive.
I don't know how many videos I've watched, but I've been watching your channel for about 4 months now and I love it. The best photography channel and now I know what type of photographer I want to become.
I was blessed to discover you a few months back. This video will make 35 that I have seen at least once. There's about a dozen that I have seen twice or more. I'm still catching up on your older videos. Keep up the great work!
Attilio, I am impressed with the way you present the topics you choose, as you combine professionalism with the ability to share your knowledge. My congratulations!!! Many greetings, Konstantinos from Greece !!!
Congratulations on 100! I absolutely love your channel. I have no idea how many I’ve watched but it’s A LOT. Please please please do an Astrophotography series.
Congratulations on your 100th video! Yes, it would be great to see videos of you shooting the Milky Way ... and processing the final image too. Maybe you could do a series on the subject?
Wow Attilio congratulations on your 100th video not sure how many I have watched but they are all brilliantly presented and very informative here’s to the next 100 look forward to seeing them.
Hi Atilio, I've seen about 20 of your videos. I enjoy a lot your explanations, your humor, and above all, your photography. From time to time I dig into the ones you published before I started following your channel.
I think I must have seen 40 or 50 video's by now. I started with photography in april this year and found you on RUclips around june I believe. Your point of view on the 20mm is sure an interesting thing. Myself, I have a 14mm manual lens which gives me a lot of distortion. A 28-70 is a little bit too narrow for my landscapes, so 20 does seem like a good focal point. Your channel didn't immediately inspire me to learn everything about long exposures, but it learned me to take time, to find composition and think about what I am shooting. I also watch them because they have this calm mood in them with nice photo's and music, which gives me a 10 or 20 minutes me-time to sit back and relax. Anyway, congrats on 100! You are doing fantastic both in quality of video and subscribers. Up to 200!
Hi Attilio, congratulations on your 100th video. Your videos are very interesting and at the same time simple to understand. With your contributions I discovered this fascinating type of photography and I am doing some experimenting in my spare time. Andrea
Thanks and congratulations on your 100th video. So far I've watched 64 of them but will eventually get through the whole lot. Well done and keep up the good work.
Hi Attilio, Congrats on your 100th video upload! Please continue! As for me I've watched almost all of your tutorials, tips and personal thoughts about photography. I really like your fine art photo style. Your message to us on how to get sight of hidden beauty and feel the world around is so simple and grate! I'm sure that watching your channel most of us will become a better photographers. Keep it going Atti!
Congrats on the 100 mark.... And great video once again. Of course we would love to see night photographs and tips on the same. I always wanted to do night photography/ milky way , but not yet done. Will try it whenever I get an opportunity to do so.
Very happy to hear you love your lens. I just received my Sony 24mm 1.4 GM and was blown away with some sunset photos I took. I actually had a thought about selling my Sony 70-200 2.8 GM. I can see using my 24mm all the time.
I’m currently at 51 but as time permits I’ll be working my way back through the rest. Astro photography is definitely worth covering, although we struggle in most parts of the UK for dark sky’s it would certainly be of interest. Well done on reaching 100 videos the work involved in producing and editing is often overlooked by viewers.
Congratulations on your 100th video. Love the long exposures. Gives everything a surreal look. Loved your long exposure photos of New Zealand as this is my favourite place for landscape photography. Cheers. Derek.
It appears that I missed 1 of your videos since I subscribed about 2 months ago. I'll have to watch that one. All I can say is that I love your videos, they teach me so much. Also I love astro. Keep up the awesome content, I'll keep watching.
Attilio, yes please do a video on astrophotography, hopefully including the initial shooting and post production work. Would be of great interest to a lot of your followers I am sure. Congratulations also on your 100th milestone ... I love your informal friendly style, so informative and inspiring. Great work !!!
I have watched every video since I subscribed and I love each one of them because not only are they informative they are a joy to watch. One of my favourites was the one that you was making pasta for yourself before you set out
Congrats on your 100th video. I have very much enjoyed your video series. I stated out in my teens as a sports photographer. Until recently I don’t think I ever took a photo with a shutter speed less than 1/1600. I have been practicing long exposures thanks to your guidance. I wish I have discovered your videos before I went on vacation in Scotland earlier this summer. The Scottish Highlands would have been a great place to use long exposure photography.
I just love your videos, and the passion and the talent in which you share them! Congratulations on your 100th video, looking forward to your next 100.....
I've watched all of your videos and I learned photography because of them. I became interested in photography because of your long exposures and now I am in love with it
I have started to watch your videos. First I want to say thank you giving your time sharing your knowledge, secondly thank you for your incredible art that so inspires me to become a better artist . I could go on and on as this passion is such an emotional experiece but I think I will just continue with watching and learning.
Excellent communicator. Very well explained. Simple and intuitive. I am always learning from you. I loved it!. A hug from Portugal and I already follow you on Instagram. Thank you!
Your work is incredible! I just rented this lens for my trip to CO. It was the perfect size for hiking in the mountains. Didn’t have a chance to do much long exposure but I can’t wait to see how the photos came out!
I love your videos and I enjoy taking long exposure photos. I watch all your videos as they are posted or go back and catch-up if I miss some. Thanks for all you do and the inspiration you provide.
Your videos are amazing & inspiring. I knew your channel by RUclips recommendation this month and watched half of your collections up to now. Pls keep up your excellence work, Attilio! A friend from China!
Hi Attilio, I see all, yes, all videos you create. But more than one time. There are some videos I saw more than 4 time's. And I probably will watch a few more. Regards from Porto , Portugal.
Hi, Attilio! I'm Carol. I'm from Brazil, currently living in Germany. I would like to thank you for sharing your knowledge. You're such an amazing and gifted photographer, and since I've discovered your RUclips channel I'm being inspired by you! I love photography so much and for a long time I've been dreaming of becoming a landscape/cityscape photographer. But when you don't have much money and your life is sometimes so challenging, you think that you will never be able to improve and get there. Now that I've found someone from whom I'm really learning, I have a new hope that one day photography will be my job! Thanks again!
Hi Attilio, congratulations on 100 videos. Great content as always. Yes!! Night photography tutorial/ series of tutorials........ would be great. Keep up the good work.
Congrats on the 100th video Attilio! Thank you for sharing and creating 100 videos of photography knowledge! My favorite lens for long exposure is the Canon TS-E 17mm f/4L Tilt-Shift and the Lee Filter system. Super interested in a video on night photography!
Amazing work, Atillio. Congrats on number one hundred. I've learned so much from your channel. I'm curious who helps you film your episodes? Possibly a friend or family member? Your video production work is superb. I can't wait for your next one.
This guy is the yoda of long exposure photography. Learnt a lot from you Attilio. May be someday I would do some long exposure tutorials on my channel following you.. Thank you for everything.
Congratulations on 100 videos, Attilio! I’ve watched nearly all of them. I am constantly in awe of your art! BTW, yes to Astro photography! Ps, I am encouraging my granddaughter to get into photography and have shown her some of your beginner series. So, I was watching one of your videos this morning and my granddaughter asked if I was watching that Italian guy again (I’m American of Italian decent)! I said, I always watch his videos and love his art!
Of course I want to see astro photography tutorials from you - how you get there on the spot and select the composition and the setting and obviously the post processing part. I will look forward to that.
Attillio, Your videos are wonderful and full of great information. Thank you. I recently picked up the Haida 15 stop ND filter and I will tell you that I am really hooked on it. I also enjoy astrophotography, star trails and milkyway, but the only problem I have is light painting the foreground. I would look forward to seeing your videos on astrophotography.
Fortunate to find you on RUclips. I'm a keen student of landscape, Astro and wildlife photography. I'm fascinated by your long exposures. Keep up the good work.
Hello Attilio. I have recently taken up photography again after losing my passion for it. I find you very inspirational and you have helped me greatly. I noticed that you haven’t posted lately so I hope all is well with you.
I enjoyed this video and love that I use the same gear. In response to your question, I would love to see videos on night photography, especially the Milky Way. I bought the 20mm especially for this to let in a little more light. Thanks you!
I have not kept count but I would say at least 90% of them if not more, always look forward to your video and this is from someone who is not really interested in landscape photography but I learn something each time!
This lens is probably my favorite lens too. I bought it about 6 - months ago and it pretty much stays on my camera. The Late / Great, Galin Rowell, a world wide traveler / explorer published often back in the day by National Geographical and Outdoor Photographer and owner of Mountain Light Gallery, used the 20mm focal length for the overwhelming majority of his photography. Great lens for sure and I loved the video. Thanks for sharing.
YEEES to astrophotography. At this moment, the Milky Way is the Moby Dick to my inner Ahab as I live in a big city with a stupid amount of light pollution. So i need to get out of town for some good dark places. Already found them with the help of Dark Sky Map app, but need to sync with a moonless night. Anyway keep vlogging and congrats for your 100th video!
I think this is about number 12 but now because I found your information and presentations so helpful my life will be on hold. I can hardly wait to get out and begin trying to accomplish just a smidgin of what you are able to do. Very impressed here and looking forward to learning as much as possible.
Another great video Attillio. To answer your question, I've watched 68 out of 101 videos. The ones I haven't watched are the ones on drones - I don't have one - and the ones about iPhone photography. I will get around to watching the iPhone ones, but I don't see myself having a drone in the near future. My next significant purchase is more likely to be a full-frame camera and some good lenses. Yes, I would like to see a video on photographing the Milky Way and the night skies. I would also love to see a video on printing, talking about the different materials the custom labs offer that you can print on. Have you ever done a digital to Chromogenic print?
Hi Attilio I have just come across your long exposure video and have taken some of your advice. I will be trying to shoot with my 9-18 wide angle lens Zuiko 1:4-5:6 with my OLYMPUS camera. I will be viewing more of your video’s to explore more of your work. Regards Jeff ( Australia )
Hey Attilio, I have learned so much from you . Thank you so much for the time you invest making this videos, for the most part I have watched almost all your videos. Keep up the great work and yes I do a bit of astrophotography... I’ll look forward for more
Bought this lens this week. So glad to see you giving it some love. Planning trip to Naples in October and looking to put it to use for Landscapes. My previous landscape lens was the Tamron 15-30 2.8. Amazing glass but without shelling out a a lot for a fiddly filter system it limited me.
Congrats on all your videos and many thanks to share your passion with us - it is very inspiring! My favorite lens for long exposure is the Canon TS-E 24mm f/3.5 L MK II
I don't know how many videos i have seen i guess most of them or even all of them It inspired me to take photography course that eventually was fun but most of the things i have learnt from your learning videos now instead of investing at gear i try to use my old gear and learn more and enjoy more Thanks for all those videos that you make for us
Dan T Do Hi! I was thinking on buying a sigma since I have no too much budget; do you recommend anyone? O just this canon as the best option? Thanks :)
I'm a fairly new subscriber but have watched every single video since subscribing. ...love your content and the education it provides. I would absolutely love to see a video on astrophotography! Capturing the Milky Way is on my bucket list but I'm just not confident enough to try it yet. I have and love the 20mm & 50mm but probably use my zooms more but after watching your video I'll have to spend more time with the primes.
Can I ask a question? I use Nikon D5100 and I have 2 Lenses is Sigma 85mm. F/1.4 for Portrait and Tamron 10-24mm. F/3.5 for Landscape, The question I want to know is how I can take a milky way photo? Thank you!
Hello Attilio. Thank you for giving us your Passion at the same time as teaching us how to experiment with so many variables. You make photography very special and helps me to get out and experiment with new ideas and knowledge. Thank you very much.
Love your photos. They are inspiring. I am just getting into long exposure photography. I've been a photography enthusiast for 50 years. But, like many photographers, most of my landscape photos have been "slapdash." Every once in a while I get a good one. It helped that my work took me around the world to many interesting places. Now I am retired and poor health keeps me from traveling very much. I'll take my time (pun intended) with long exposure shots. I like sunrises on the beach. I wish I lived near the beach like I did when I was a kid growing up in Florida. Now I only see a sunrise on a beach once every "blue moon." So I have to make every shot count. Thanks for the video.
I have luckily watched all of your videos and some more than once. I enjoyed them all and look forward to many many more. Absolutely would enjoy a video about shooting at night. There is a “dark park” about an hour from my home where there is no city lights to hinder a perfect night shot. As always Attilio thank you for a very informative video. I do have a 20mm as well as a 50mm in my arsenal now just waiting for the filter purchase. Keep up the awesome videos.
Congrats on 100 videos. I started watching you at a time when you seemed unsure what your future path was going to be. Your videos, content, and style have grown tremendously and now I always look forward to seeing what is next. By the way, doing some night photography videos would be great. Continued success.
Attilio... what can I say... I’ve started loving long exposure just for you! Your videos and your photos inspired me to try.. and I’m starting to see results just following all the tips in this channel!!! Please make a video also on night photography and also explain us how you decide to use 6, 10 or 15 stops filters!!
Prime or Zoom Lenses? What's your favorite lens?
Hi Attilio, my favorite for nightscapes is my Samyang 14mm, for landscapes is a very old Nikkor 20mm f/2.8 AFD.... but after having seen your videos where you stitch photos taken with your 50mm maybe I will start to experiment too.... many compliments for your videos, they are simple yet very exaustive, and your narrative style is defenitely very italian... @@massimocarnevali2785 grazie mille!
My favourite lens is what I have actually. :) Now it's a Sigma 17-70 f2.8-4 Contemporary, but I love my Nifty Fifty as well. :)
ATM i only have 2 lenses, 18 - 55 kit lens and 70 - 300 zoom. depends on the composition as to which lens i use

Welcome to my channel Herman!
All 100 videos. I have been watching your videos a few weeks after you started. Keep up the awesome work.
Thank you very much! 🙏🙏🙏
Awesome as usual!!! Night photography tutorial would be awesome and also don't forget about merging two photos in LR. All the best!!!
sounds good!
Congratulations on your 100th upload!
Fortunate to find you on RUclips. I'm a keen student of landscape, Astro and wildlife photography. I'm fascinated by your long exposures. Keep up the good work.
thank you!
Thanks you!
Thanks Barbara!
My 5th video. Just found your channel and loving it!
Thank you Gary!
Congrats on your 100th video. Love all your videos!
Thank you very much 😍
Congrats Attillio on your 100th post 👏🏻 looking forward to your next 100.
Thanks my friend 🙏
I have not kept count but I would say at least 90% of them if not more, always look forward to your video and this is from someone who is not really interested in landscape photography but I learn something each time!
Thanks a lot Jack!
Thanks for sharing.
thanks Dave!
Congrats on your 100th post Attilo. Great videos. I just started following your instagram yesterday.
Thank you 🙏
YEEES to astrophotography. At this moment, the Milky Way is the Moby Dick to my inner Ahab as I live in a big city with a stupid amount of light pollution. So i need to get out of town for some good dark places. Already found them with the help of Dark Sky Map app, but need to sync with a moonless night. Anyway keep vlogging and congrats for your 100th video!
thanks!
Nice Video. You are the Great long Exposure Photographer. I thing i watched 80 % of the Video. Congrats for 100 Video. Lots of Love from india
Thanks a lot my friend 🙏
@@AttilioRuffo Always Welcome
:-)
I think this is about number 12 but now because I found your information and presentations so helpful my life will be on hold. I can hardly wait to get out and begin trying to accomplish just a smidgin of what you are able to do. Very impressed here and looking forward to learning as much as possible.
Thanks 🙏
Happy 100th upload Attilio my friend, always great content, thanks
Thank you Trevor!
Hi Attilio
I have just come across your long exposure video and have taken some of your advice.
I’ll look forward for more
thanks Julio. Happy to hear...
I am sure you will enjoy!
Congrats on all your videos and many thanks to share your passion with us - it is very inspiring! My favorite lens for long exposure is the Canon TS-E 24mm f/3.5 L MK II
Thanks Vincent!
I don't know how many videos i have seen i guess most of them or even all of them
It inspired me to take photography course that eventually was fun but most of the things i have learnt from your learning videos
now instead of investing at gear i try to use my old gear and learn more and enjoy more
Thanks for all those videos that you make for us
Thank you my friend!
Some suggestions for the night photography would be really helpful. Great video by the way. Great learning. Thanks
Congratulations on reaching 100! I’ve watched too many to count! Always learn from you!
Thanks Rosalie! 🙏
Maybe watched 30 or so of your videos and plan to watch more. They are informative and fun. I enjoy your approach to teaching!
Thanks a lot!
What would you recommend for Canon EOS camera on long exposures lens?
not sure! ;-(
Dan T Do Hi! I was thinking on buying a sigma since I have no too much budget; do you recommend anyone? O just this canon as the best option? Thanks :)
Dan T Do a crop one :(
Dan T Do thanks b I will check it! I was thinking on the sigma 18 to 35mm f1.8 ... do you know it? Thanks 🙏
Dan T Do yes, I completely understand ! Thanks again !
Thank you very much for your guidance I have looked at many of them and liked them. I like your photos, from my country Iceland.
Thank you 🙏
I'm a fairly new subscriber but have watched every single video since subscribing. ...love your content and the education it provides. I would absolutely love to see a video on astrophotography! Capturing the Milky Way is on my bucket list but I'm just not confident enough to try it yet. I have and love the 20mm & 50mm but probably use my zooms more but after watching your video I'll have to spend more time with the primes.
Thanks a lot Paula!
Thanks for the video.
thank you!
Great video and images, totally agree it's very important to have something solid in the frame to contrast against the movement.
thanks!
I have luckily watched all of your videos and some more than once. I enjoyed them all and look forward to many many more.
Absolutely would enjoy a video about shooting at night. There is a “dark park” about an hour from my home where there is no city lights to
hinder a perfect night shot. As always Attilio thank you for a very informative video. I do have a 20mm as well as a 50mm in my arsenal now just waiting for the
filter purchase.
Keep up the awesome videos.
Thanks a lot Steve!
Congrats on 100 videos. I started watching you at a time when you seemed unsure what your future path was going to be. Your videos, content, and style have grown tremendously and now I always look forward to seeing what is next. By the way, doing some night photography videos would be great. Continued success.
Thanks mate!
Attilio... what can I say... I’ve started loving long exposure just for you! Your videos and your photos inspired me to try.. and I’m starting to see results just following all the tips in this channel!!! Please make a video also on night photography and also explain us how you decide to use 6, 10 or 15 stops filters!!
thank you 🙏
