great ideas in the tips back half of the webinar, but a suggestion, as there is many power options for the packs/generators, and different wattage of light heads, how about putting a laser etching, or painted digits on the Plug, so you know at a glance, the max power you can send to that head. Ie: P 16K for a pulso head, 1600J head, and then have a marking area next door (for whiteboard markers), to write the modifier used, also can be abreviated , P88 for para, SB = soft box, etc. this would make life a lot easier, and also for quick adjustments, maybe even a feature in the app so you can mimic those labels in the control interface, so everyone knows which head\pack they are adjusting and can update this on the fly, as modifers are added and changed.
great video, and THANKS for using the pencil eraser to point out the buttons!!, so your presenters hands are not in the picture, hiding the thing you are pointing at.
I have used the Scoro 3200S with a 230V outlet in India. When I have to use the Scoro pack with 110v/120V in the US, what kind of power outlets should I cconnect the device to? Can I connect the device to a standard outlet in the home or higher power outlets in the kitchen? Please advise.
Hi Rahul, The Scoro system is self power regulating. It can be used on different voltages from 120-240v depending on your operating country. You will just need the appropriate power cable. There should be no issue with running one connected to a standard outlet.
one more question, what lights come with this scoro pack, and which are compatable options with it, ie: for a first purchase with the light, or a kit, what are your suggestions.
The Scoro packs are sold pack only, but are compatible with the entire broncolor lineup. For someone getting started I would recommend either Unilite or Pulso G heads depending on if you need a focusable head or not. Then you need to consider which modifiers you would like to use. But that's easy because pretty much everything you would need is able to be used with both of these heads.
@@BroncolorUSA thanks for the help, just got a Hasselblad H system, and as they are not nikon or cannon, etc, I need to seriously think about moving up to the studio systems for flash, but am only used to a speedlight, and as I don't currently have a studio at the moment, and no 'grip', as my speedlights can be used on a tripod; which modifiers and head would you suggest for a beginner into this system, esp. if I decided on a move battery system and do these come in a kit, esp. with stands? ( I am mainly interested in Archatecture, cars and other vehicles, as well as still lifes, and also on a budget; and am in Australia so I use 240V, not the 120 or 210 you do in the USA.). can the Pulso G and the unilite work with the move packs to?, ie: is the plug used the same for scoro and move systems?
Hi Andy, The good news is we do have several kits available for photographers like yourself, however they do not come with stands. All of our AC power packs can run on voltages worldwide (you would just need to purchase the appropriate power cable or from your local dealer/distributor). The Pulse G and Unites will work with the Move pack, however the modeling lights cannot be used (similarly the MobiLED head can be used with a Scoro but its limited to 1600j and the modeling light cannot be used). As for which modifiers to recommend, that is a very subjective choice and depends on your personal shooting style.
great idea, going in to it from scratch :-)) by the way, is the scoro pack a 'generator pack' as opposed to a "battery pack" light system, or can it take a battery as well as AC power?
Hi Andy, The Scoro packs are strictly AC only. We have the Move 1200L which is a battery powered pack, however there are some trade offs. The Move is much smaller, and is limited to 1200j (as compared to the 1600-3200j Scoro packs). It has 2 lamp outlets and for the most flash endurance it is recommended to use our MobiLED heads. But with the battery you can get 170 flashes at full power.

You guys are amazing! Real work behind this video. Well done!

Is it possible to add Wifi to a Scoro E 1600 pack?
Our service department can help determine if WiFi's available on your pack. service@broncolor.us
