    When you talked about coming back to voicemails at work I could relate because nobody ever emails me and I came back to over 200 emails. 🥴 I was gone for two weeks but I NEVER get 200 emails in two weeks on a regular week.

      Girl I was stressed cause do you really want me to call you back 😂… and babbbyy I was gone for a week and came back to 90 emails , I can’t even imagine 200 emails to go through. What do you do for work?

      @@iamalissah I still haven’t gone through them. I’m thinking of just deleting them because if it was pressing it would have already been taken care of, and if not the person will follow back up lol

    I have over 30 years administrative/Office Manager work and am wanting to get into the HR field. How do you get started? Did they train you in all of the areas you are talking about?

      Hi love ! With that kind of experience you can definitely get a job in HR. Especially an HR cord row. I say cater your resume to the role on which you are applying. Put those Transferable skills on the resume and apply. Yes every job has a duty to train you, unless it’s in their job description that they don’t.

    Hi Alissah, am HR Executive here in Nigeria. Am trying to get Hr jobs remotely and also in the US, but am finding it hard to do so.

      Hey 👋🏾 I don’t know much about international employment. I would say just keep trying and possibly take the IPHR

    I’m an hr coordinator for 2 months and I find it boring. I come from regulatory compliance with fast paced work. Is it normally this chill and slow paced? I find I have to create a lot of work for myself

      When I first started I felt the same so I spoke with my manger and assured her that I can do more, asking for more work sounds crazy lol , but since then she has given me some important things to manage and projects that keep me busy during the day. Also while you have the free time think of ways you can better the employer experience and pitch them to your manager . It’s a great time to show your worth.

    I want to be in HR. Do you need experience for it? Or have you worked HR before?

    • @iamalissah
      @iamalissah  3 месяца назад +1

      Hi girly to break into HR, prior experience can be helpful but isn't always necessary, depending on the type of role you're targeting. Entry-level positions like HR assistants or coordinators may not require extensive experience, but having internships, volunteering, or transferable skills from other jobs can be beneficial.
