The difference is BI DIRECTIONAL , Maintenance reset and many other functions I believe they do a comparison to see the differences on both. But the SC880 is the best one.
Great info and well done. Does this scanner do a BMW 3 series E90 . I have a (2008) 335XI Dual Turbo and a EVAP code came up. I replaced the gas/fuel cap (a common cause) and need to know that was the fix and also when the drive cycle is done. I need to go through Car Inspection (In New Jersey) by the end of this month. Great info on your video. Thanks. Phil
Is this a Foxwell clone? I really liked my Foxwell for the price and features. It was able to communicate with the SBC on Mercedes which other scanners I tried could not do anything. It is also able to test all the modules on the canbus, trigger functions and provide real codes. It wasn't bidirectional so coding and programming isn't possible.
Although they are both from China, CGSULIT and Foxwell are two different companies, not clones. It is normal to know that there are always many products with similar functions on the market.
The big question for me is would it even recognise my 2000 m43 318i? My year & model is an absolute anomaly when it comes to anything 'scantool'.. super frustrating! Thankyou for another informative video.. Sth Australia 👍
Get a peake research R5FCX I have one for my e30 and my brothers e36 318i has the same round interface under the bonnet. I think it will work with your car you should be able to research it fairly easily to make sure. Your car is probably pre obd2.
ThinkDiag is much better and more portable it’s a little dongle you throw in your glove box they are amazing and just uses your phone to control it so it’s always with you when your out and about !!
This one and if your wanting to spend only that then click the link on the top here and it’s way cheaper then €300 so this one is perfect for what you need
Hi Doctor bmw i m from north africa and i follow u in youtube Pleas i want to ask u about foxwell nt 809bt and foxwell nt 530 for bmw and who best keytool programmer thank u I'm waiting for your answer
You may be right then 😅 as I said they don’t tell me anything about them but 90% of scan tools are made In China and put a company in another country’s logo on. And then China clone it and make a cheaper product with another name as they do. Have no idea myself but you could be correct 😁
Yes, 90% of scan tools are made in China, including foxwell, Autel, Topdon and CGSULIT, they are all Chinese brands. Due to trade and export, these brands will establish local warehouses in the United States, Australia, Europe and other places.

What's the difference between this SC860 and the SC880 in the video? The SC880 is $300

@@mcplutt SC880: Full systems diagnosis and has more functions. SC860: Only 4 systems diagnosis and has less functions.

This will work 100% because it finds your vehicle via obd so don’t worry about it. It will work just click scan the rest it does by itself

CGSULIT can ship to usa.

I have no idea about that one but I believe it must be China like all scan tools come from as far as I’m aware
@@BMWDoctor, I thought it was made here in the Philippines! Sulit is a Filipino word which means it's worth it! Hahahaha!
