Great selection of orchestral sounds, an exciting choice of modules, and the calmness with which you explained everything. I wish there were more videos like this. You have a new subscriber :)
wiring back up my new studio! will do as soon as it's up and running. Have a brand new setup workflow for granular orchestral stuff so yeah! excited to share! Thanks for the kind words! :)))
Impressive array of gears through out your videos. It would be great to hear your music vs your narratives. I've combed through your channel searching for them.
I try to write as much music as I can but surprisingly it's the most time consuming! :) I try not to use any library music and I do write all incidental music on this channel, even though they need polishing. I just use it, because at least it's original. I kinda let this channel become whatever it's becoming and yeah, it's getting more narrative and commentary like. I do have some new videos coming up that focuses a whole lot more on musical so stay tuned. But yeah it's a good reminder! Thanks for the feedback!
I have to do an improvised set (tomorrow 😵💫) which needs to be at least 15 minutes long. I've been practising for the past month trying to get some basic ideas so I know where I'm going, however, it's difficult to be consistent without being repetitive. Your organisation of ideas and especially your BitBox samples is a great example of a more controlled way of working. I always get sidetracked making melodic stuff with the VCOs rather than using the BitBox to do some of the work. I guess you've seen them, but if not check out Johno Wells improvised sets, they're very inspiring. He told me - in the comments - how he really starts from nowhere and just sees what happens and goes from there. The results he gets are very interesting. Anyhow, love your videos. They're not showy stuff, but more meditations on where you are at the present time (in modular).
Love these sounds!! I think this is a really unique idea, not a whole lot of synth guys are using orchestral samples and it sounds SO GOOD!!! Nice work man, keep it up.
Hey bro, thank you for this little guide. And I agree, it sounded pretty amazing and epic. Very different direction for eurorack but I really enjoy it. It really does sound like right out of a movie
Way to go, man. Thanks for sharing .. I do so appreciate the recipe of yours, of a Bitbox, (with it being clocked) to other modules. Bitbox, appearing to be lessening the fatigue, or effort, of employing your snips of audio. This combination of analog & digital .. this can be pretty big place, to move in.
Oh boy. I really hate to say it, but I'd say Arbhar, for me personally. Nebulae is boring looking, but it's actually useful in content creation for me so far. Morphagene and Arbhar is a bit random, which is cool. But I actually think the Arbhar has some bugs and quirky behavior, like sounds I record simply disappear or the left/right signals don't work and it will only playback on on side (even though I'm panning it in the stereo field). I think the firmware is not mature. Maybe like the Ludbah, they will update the Arbhar with the new firmware that revamps the whole unit. Morphagene is tried and true. Having said that, the I believe in the Instruo team in the long term to do the right thing and continue to bring value to people who buy their product.

Question: If you really needed to choose two between those three modules: arbhar, morphagen and nebulae 2. Which one of them you'd leave out?
