and she's gained an affinity to water...I actually don't know enough about Akizuki to say that she definitely hates water, but we all know the cat + water = disaster trope well
What amazes me that akizuki "the cat" has unlocked the concealment expert skill and give Admiral Jingles a good scare and she has a beard that can give the evil gnome overlord a run for his salt
Dear dairy. today i've had a game that comes once in 1000 games. I pawned 8 kills and 283k damage. i just hope it washes out the bittersweet taste of losing 460 games out of the rest 999 games.
Crysantos said in one of the recent Community Stream he should be comming in Update 0.8.10. But i have no further confirmation, so take that with caution.
"When you're in a torpedo-boat like the Kagero the only thing more embarrassing than being torpedoed by a gunboat is being torpedoed by a cruiser." Oh no sir, I can assure you that being torpedoed by a BATTLESHIP is far more embarrassing.
Firing AP at a slightly angled DD does more damage per salvo than HE. The DD has to have an angle of roughly 40 degrees though. Depending on your guns you might start getting over-pens at 50 degrees, while your shells would get bounced at 30 degrees. It takes a lot of experience to switch between HE and AP for maximum damage at just the right time. In my Grozovoi I will do 4k to 5k salvos on a DD if I can catch them at a 40-degree angle with AP, but at 55 degrees or so, I will only do between 2k and 3k, which is comparable to an HE salvo against an unsaturated strutcture. The reason for that particular angle is a mix of penetration values on your AP shells and the size of the enemy destroyer. The higher your penetration value, the sharper the angle can be before you'll bounce or shatter; the wider the enemy destroyer, the likelier the fuse of your shells will trigger before they exit the ship on the other side and over-pen only.
This is a really bad idea. Yes you can fire AP, but if you analyze your replays, you will find that you bounce more AP than you think, and if you do the maths AP tends to have even less dpm in real terms compared to HE. And if you switch, you lose dpm because of that as well (even after firing). Plus you have to focus a lot on hitting the right parts and be ready to switch, which leaves less focus for other things. HE is the way to go in 99% of cases, plus you set fires and bust modules while doing it. AP against cruisers though is fair game.
Looked for this comment. Also should note that the Nelson took those torps, repaired the floods and then sat broadside on to a smokescreen when he could have just moved behind the island...
9:26 "if I am the one sending torpedoes your way, please make no changes in course or speed" Guess it is the safest place to be then? Ok, I'll show myself to the deepest part of the mine now.
This is unrelated to yesterday's video you put out on NordVPN. I needed my phone today and had so many influx of calls from people I didn't even know. Looked them up on my contacts list and found so many add on's from facebook and sites that I watch plus a whole lot more. I even found Discord on it. Now I never use my phone except to call my wife when she's out shopping for I'm home bound with illness that leaves me trying to catch me breath from the smoke and chemical smells from the papermill company that's in the area here. I was telling me wife about NordVPN and said we might want to get it. She shrugged it off until she saw what was on my phone and I think she went and checked her's. As a long time follower of your channel, I have found your insight to history and other topics very interesting and informative. Thank you Jingles for helping me to prove something to me wife and opening her eyes a little about the goings on with these people whom have no sense of privacy of others.
Jingles you are no longer the only one to name a pet after a IJN ship! I have named my 12 week old puppy Maya after the third ship of the Takao class Heavy Cruisers.
Thank you Jingles for leaving my post up months ago when I lost a Captain during the US cruiser line split. I have been informed it is now fixed. Indeed my thanks sir.
Jingles, there’s a game that has just recently released its alpha build that I really think you’d enjoy. It’s called Ultimate Admirals: Dreadnoughts where you get to design and build your own warships then fight them against enemy fleets. I think it’d be a great casual Saturday video but that’s just me :)
BRAVO!!! BRAVO!!! BRAVO!!! Standing ovation!!!! I came under the relentless fire from a Akizuki in a Fuso shortly after it was released years ago, and was so furious with that little fucker I thought to myself, "I've got to get me one of those." Now 50% of my matches are Akizuki/Kitakaze/Harugomo fights, and I can tell you from first hand experience this is the shit I go to bed DREAMING of at night. EVERYTHING went right for this guy and he exploited his chances perfectly.... BUT most importantly he drove that Akizuki like he stole it! He drove it like a BOSS. That is Akizuki/Kitakaze/Harugomo "How to Win Friends and Influence People (by kicking ass)" 101. I've had my share on Krakens in these boats, and they are actually harder to come by than you would think b/c you can end up speeding a lot of time grinding down ships with the rapid fire guns, especially BBs. But it is so fucking worth it, because you know exactly how much you are pissing off that battleship driver. Also, for him to get into the shit like that at the start and 4 kills was awesome, but due to the AKE trifecta's slower speed that is often the end of the fight for them, especially if they have taken typically much more damage in a 4 kill brawl that this guy went through. So he got a hell of an opportunity in the 2nd part when he ran into the retreating forces in the enemy cap, and the exploited the shit out of it. SO JEALOUS. Full disclosure, my personal best ever game was Kitakaze - 246K DMG, 4 kills (3 from torps!!!!). And that brings me to another point... ...do not, I repeat DO NOT underestimate the torpedoes on these boats (unless you are playing against me then by all means ignore them, please). The Kitakaze & Harugomo, with torpedo reload boaster, can fire a spread of 12 japanese 12km, 23,766 dmg torpedoes in a perfect spread for anything 8-10km away. That gives them the 2nd highest alpha strike potential with torpedoes in the game behind only Shimakaze. Think about that. So again, BRAVO!!! BRAVO!!! BRAVO!!! From one japanese 'gun boat' (wink, wink) driver to another, well played sir. Well played!!!
I actusly have just found you a week ago, and watched about 60 of these videos to get back up to snuff for WoWS play, as I just got back in.. have not played since the french event..
Robin is arguably the best WoWS player in the world. And I say this in full seriousness! You people are privileged to watch a WoWS legend in action. Appreciate it!
Nelsons are very enigmatic^^ in the last TVII ranked sprint i noticed something odd: In 6 games the team actually communicated and decided to go for 2 caps..except there was allways ONE BB, that thought otherwise, decided to make use of its "superior speed") and went for a solo cap (to be A. utterly useless and B.get killed ofc). And it was allways a Nelson in all 6 cases (watching a Nelson go full ahead makes you realize why snail-races are NOT a thing), so i lean towards believing, that THIS Nelson did not just give up, but actually did not know any better - premiums gonna premiun, eh? :) #WGwewantaskilledbasedladdersystem
As far as naval gunnery goes, 100mm guns are small caliber. Anything lower than that are either 19th century destroyers or dedicated anti-aircraft artillery.
100mm is a "tiny gun caliber" considering that even the German most smallest artillery secondary was 5mm larger in diameter compared to Akizuki's main battery

Perhaps this will be a bonus for us that love seeing you post videos, since you'll have little else to do while pinned in place by a large ball of kitty fluff. Edit: Wow, Jingles and I are the same page! 😂 3:32 And the only thing more embarrassing for a torpedo boat being torpedo'd by a cruiser... is being torpedo'd by a battleship...
Actually, for a destroyer it is the most embarrassing to be blown out of the water by a bb via topedo. Did that once with the Gneisenau and it was beyond satisfactory :D
I mean lets be honest, repairing that single fire wasn't what killed that Nagato, it had more to do with sailing in a slow straight line by itself after a Destroyer had just killed three ships in front of it (And continued to sail straight after said DD smoked up and opened fire). So I am not sure the tip about how to use the repair is going to help that player much.
As much as I love the old intro it's in desperate need of a facelift.. It just looks like a grey blob on my 4k tv lol. Maybe somebody good at those things could redo it in a higher res?
Is it me or did Akizuki gain a few tonnes, armor plating, 100mm guns and torpedos? Damn cats grow so much.
Well Akizuki is a Ragdoll cat. They can get very big.
No. The cat built it from her toys
Akizuki the cat is a master shipbuilder undercover. Erm... Under the fur
and she's gained an affinity to water...I actually don't know enough about Akizuki to say that she definitely hates water, but we all know the cat + water = disaster trope well
Our Maine coon kitten is putting on a pound a week … but several tonnes would take a while.
What amazes me that akizuki "the cat" has unlocked the concealment expert skill and give Admiral Jingles a good scare and she has a beard that can give the evil gnome overlord a run for his salt
Maybe the cat was hiding inside HIS beard all along?
But it can be detected by some humans. Cats make them sneeze. :-D
Good thing you've put those note on the third picture, considering the amount of fluff it might be very easy to be confused.
Right?

Hatsuzuki you always need more kitten 🐱
A pleasure, kind sir!
Nice to see you get the spot light you deserve. love you vids man.
funny how u always gets these games when u are alone when dunny and myself are there u dont get games like this anyway great game my friend :-)
0:35 - I have to admit I was a little confused due to your fluffy beard.
So I'm glad you added "Not This" to your selfie. :)
He is getting the "Santa" look. No longer is he our Uncle Jingles, but old Granddad Jingles.
When is Cmd. Jingles McJingleberry coming out?

It's like a cat on catnip, suddenly everything becomes interesting to play with.
If you listen carefully, you can hear the minigun barrels start spinning up.

Jingles is six hours ahead of me, I live with it (because the PAWN artist Fredrik Andersson is SEVEN hours ahead of me!)
What does communication help if every of your BBs dmg cons a single fire in the eyes of an Akisuki and Atlanta? - Exactly nothing. ;)
Jingles, did you select this replay just to post kitty pics? (its what i would have done.)
Wow such an awesome game in the Akizuki!
Those 5 inch paws can be devastating...
"These tiny little 100mm guns" in what world, Jingles, is 100mm "tiny"? Do I have to climb into the back of my wardrobe to get there?
Crandy Dandy in this world, the Yamato has 460mm guns 😁
When most ships are slinging shells half again wider, and battleships are slinging shells four times larger.
It's all about relativity, and the DD standard is 127mm or whatever it is that most DDs usually employ.
Honestly surprised we didn't hear Akizuki in the background. My cats always start meowing if they hear their name multiple times.
