@@praloychoudhury502 I'm not discrediting Angelina Jolie. If you know anything about Angelina you know she has an eating disorder and has had plastic surgery. But what celebrity hasn't? Honestly, I admire Angelina Jolie for her acting talent. She can play any role, in any plot. And yes, Angelina is beautiful. If you look at her in her early years she has natural beauty, but has altered it to maintain the celebrity life style.

+GreenTheater There's not too much to spoil in this film though, everything becomes obvious at the 1st interview which is about 10-15 minutes in. There's a couple twists but nothing that'll knock you off balance!

I heard Red Dragons a good one and that its part of the Silence of The Lambs & Hannibal series too but I've never seen it so I'll check it out.
I checked my movie folder and you might like these ones too: Donnie Darko, Fargo, From Hell, Sphere, Jacobs Ladder, The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo (I only saw the American remake), Ex Machina, Gozu (VERY weird), Moon, Shutter Island, The Bone Collecter, The Cell, The 13th Floor.
Thats all I've got for now, I tried to keep it all as "mystery thriller" as possible!

A very good detective story to watch with an unpredictable turn of events, which makes this film very unpredictable and interesting.
Just got done watching this on Netflix and I must say I was not expecting that ending like wowww.. But overall good movie !!

GamerXOtaku 00 eventually when you make a million amazing movies for the same genre, there's not too many more you can do. That's why you don't see any of these kind of movies in theatres anymore. Today's biggest genre is superhero, which kinda pisses me off to be honest.

I had to stop the trailer at a minute in before it spoiled the movie for me.

This is before Kiefer got stabbed. Because if you have seen the movie they changed roles with two of the big actors.
I liked this movie, but not the ending and not Ethan Hawke. I think Taking Lives began as an intriguing film but it lacks mystery and depth. The rest of the movie I thought was really neat.

THE MOST SICK MOVIE EVER MADE. FEEL LIKE PUKING AFTER WATCHING THIS
2019 and I just found out that this movie exist. What was I doing?
This film started off okay. I love a good mystery thriller (whether crime is the theme or not) and TL builds a pretty good atmosphere, however I think it forces you to think what it wants you to think. For example, any suspicions or doubts you have are only there because the film showed you something that blatantly 'doesn't add up', so its not the most mentally engaging thriller (nothing is particularly mysterious) but again the atmosphere helps its cause!
I also instantly see that this movie was heavily inspired by other well known stuff, particularly Silence of The Lambs, Se7en and The X-Files series. Speaking of X-Files, I was really expecting/hoping the killer to possess some kind of extraordinary or even supernatural ability but it seems he's just a skilled identity thief.
Not a bad film, not bad acting, but its ideas weren't executed as well as they could've been. Every time a character said "Special agent Scott" I kept hearing "Special agent Scully!".
I think it's a good thriller, I wonder why Ethan defined it "terrible"..

Ive only just seen this movie. As a mystery it fails miserably as its entirely predictable beat by beat. As a general serial killer investigation with thriller elements it works somewhat well. Angelina Jolie did the best of the cast.

For the crime of assault, Martinez should not have survived in this movie.
