The “reviewer” should make a clear disclaimer at the start of the video and change the misleading title. Disappointing.

Apologies if you started this and I just missed it somehow, but does this device come with a BUILT-IN eReader or do I have to download/install one? If it comes with a built in app, what formats does it support?
Ther are a few things about this that make me wary: 1) What's the price? If it's another $600 e-ink tablet, that's not different enough to tempt me, even if I had the disposable income for it. 2) No illumination is a big problem. Companies shouldn't be releasing products that cost as much as this is probably going to cost (see #1) in 2024 without some kind of illumination. Amazon and B&N had this figured out many years ago.
The fact that there is no illumination is a design choice. I for example am explicitly looking for a reader without illumination as it brings the screen closer to the surface making it more paper-like, having a backlight would be a dealbreaker for me. So it's not wrong, it's just designed for a different customer base compared to the one you belong to
