OMG, I laughed all the way through as you guys were talking! I’m in my 60’s and my favorite hunting rifle is the Winchester Model 70 in 7x57 with a LP scope and my EDC is a 1911 with 45ACP 230FMJ’s. And, yes, my grandfather owned only one single barrel 12ga his entire life and it’s in my gun safe. So, I think I know how you might classify me in the Fudd vs Tactical debate! But I would make the argument that I’ve owned probably over 250 rifles and used almost every brand under the sun and I always come back to Model 70’s with CRF type actions. I’ve used just about every round that’s been around since before the 60’s and the 7x57 and 30-06 are my personal favorites; they simply work! A gunsmith once told me to never buy a rifle chambered with ammo that hadn’t been sold for at least 50 years, solid advice. But as far as the newest calibers go, I’m thinking the 6.5Cr is now a safe buy because so many people have bought them, marketing works! I really enjoyed the video but sometimes the truth hurts when you hear it, lol! Great video!
The way I look at it is that there are no "Fudd guns," "Fuddism" refers to having a "know it all" close-minded mentality, and having a pick and choose stance on gun rights.
I hope one day Canadians will gain independence from Canada. I've been there as a Michigander a couple times on accident, and while the people are okay the government there... not so much.
There are too many reasons to smush into a RUclips comment. I would steer clear, until you start seeing more positive reviews ideally when they launch a new generation and fix their gas system.
The types of guns I like tend to be Fudd guns. And I'm sort of Fudd age. But as far was approving of someone else's firearms choices, need doesn't inter end to it. It's not my place to decide what you do or don't need. And it sure as he*l isn't the governments place either. To me, an "evil black gun" is a tool. Just like an evil chrome wrench. I just personally prefer guns that are more than just tools. But you don't have to live my life, and I don't have the right to try and live yours. So, I guess I may look like a Fudd. But that doesn't mean I think like a Fudd.
So basically it’s the 6.5 creedmoor and Glock haters . I’m not buying no Tupperware gun. I reload 44 mag rounds for my Marlin rifle and my Redhawk revolver. Years ago I was telling an older gentleman at the local store . He actually said he didn’t like using reloads because when the brass went through the barrel it was no good anymore
7:15 i can understand some irrational brand loyalty, but once you get to the midrange serious firearms makers, I suppose some brand loyalty comes from their reputation. I like to stick with Beretta and Cz because so far I haven’t had any issue with either and both have a well deserved reputation for quality. Does that mean I wouldn’t buy a Ruger ar15 , a marlin 1894, or a mossberg 940? Of course not. I suppose I’ve never really seen someone who has truly irrational brand loyalty.
3030 is more than adequate for moose im not saying i agree or disagree with the video but people really downplay that round its a fuckin tank out to 150-200 yards...
I heard a man in Walmart saying that hollow point ammo is useless in rifles because they only expand after exiting the target
That's how they work right?
Ah yes because soft points are different

Got told "no rapid fire or I'd be kicked out" while zeroing my rifle

I'm in the process of getting my PAL... its the waiting game for me right now.
Know what gun you’re getting first?

Worst experience I’ve had is I had a fudd range officer who enforced only one round in the magazine when at the firing line…in the states non the less
.300 win mag is not too much for anything in North America 😉
Amen. Squirrel to Polar bear .300 is there for you
I remember when I was a kid my dad shot a coyote on the farm with a .300 win mag at like 40 yards and it had a basketball-sized exit hole
The county job joke was accurate af, you know they ain’t working hard either
That's awesome 37 on the wall

What is the dislike for the Kodiak Defence @8:05? Been thinking of getting one. Reviews seem to be hit or miss with this brands rifles.

We appreciate it! 96% of my guns are fuddlike!

Ah yes. Brass is totally ruined.

It's doable. BUT wouldn't you feel better with a .308/06/300 win?
How about military surplus
Check out our videos on that
You both seem like you would have really soft hands.
Rougher than yours, I'd figure
Yer fuckin' two-ply, bud
