    This video is AWESOME!!! Thank you very much for all your hard work. Could you please do a video on how to sing someday? I'm learning how to play the uke but I then I want to sing along and all the time I spent practising didn't pay as the song doesn't sound right because of my voice. Yours is amazing, so beautiful and powerful. I'm in love with your vocal cords

    Hello Katie, back home again?
    I saw you playing this at the NAMM (of course just in a video). Wonderful to have a tutorial for that song now. I would like to thank you for what you're doing. Great job... I like the way you show chord transitions and practice the strumming pattern. But when it comes to the play-along that's way too fast for me. I don't like slowing down the video because it totally distorts the voice and I don't like that. I wish you would play the strumming pattern at regular speed (as you did) but with a metronome just for a short amount of time and name the speed. So I think this would help to work on increasing speed.
    Greetings from snowy Germany.

      I actually filmed this one around New Years and had it done before NAMM. I was going to post it on Saturday, but I decided to wait to post it until today. I also wanted to see what it would be like to only post once instead of twice in one week. We'll see what happens.

    • @Teeum5
      @Teeum5 5 лет назад +2

      @@OneMusicSchool I think only having one video per week should be totally enough for most of the people because most of us follow several RUclipsrs. And in the end there is no time for really practicing the songs. (Hopefully nobody will read this except you 😬)

    Good day Katie, like this songs great rhythm and strum pattern, plus those interesting chords. Is that first Eb UDUDUDUDUUU pattern something you call out when doing chin ups? Easy peasy pattern until seeing the speed in the play along. Woah that's fast, appreciate the reminder to slow the vid down. You've got diy skills, how about a video showing us how to make a cement ukulele to build up our arm strength? You could make a Yogalele fitness video and when we've gained strength teach us how to play our uke's in wonderfully weird positions. Yet to see someone play while doing a headstand. That lights out ending kind of reflects Amy's life. That instant darkness highlights that we never know when it's time. Best live a good life, a pure life with God, cause at the end one doesn't want to wonder, "what's happening". Powerful video Katie.
